I want to take a contrary view to most of the answers so far..!

I almost agree with him!. Like many people here I have a full time job, and can devote 2 hours of so daily and 10 hours a day at the weekends

SFI is not employment, it is your own business, and it is up to each individual to choose how to use their time to achieve their desires.
The points themselves have a value, but if your affiliate already has a SO, then the diference may not be that great.
He may believe that he can better use the time to post another advert,or get his banners published on an additional 2 or 3 sites.

I would recommend that you encorage him to collect the easy points, butt make sure that he catches up with the forums, ask SC and other education at the weekends. After all it is in his interests to fully understand new developments and the full range of opportunities here.

I really don't think that you can tell him that he must collect all the VP's everyday, but you can suggest that, in time, he will probably see the value in doing so

Find out AGAIN, just how serious they are about building their SFI business. Visit their profile, review some of the answers they gave to the questions asked, gently remind them of the answers they gave and how those answers are relevant to doing the daily actions.

My initial thought on this would be encapsulated with a quote "Why look a gift horse in the mouth?" But on a second thought I suppose I have a better response.

The actions may be only one point each but those do add up and they could ultimately mean the difference between whether you finish up a given month as an EA or a BTL. In that instance then the single versa points have been worth a share of free CSA reassignments.

Further though to what the todo actions are valued in points as, think instead of what they are for your business and reaching your dreams.

A few examples;

A. The forum is a point - but it also keeps you abreast of things and changes. I personally find that reading about the experiences other affiliates have had and the contributed answers are REALLY helpful to me, even though I say so often enough.

B. Movers is a point - but it is also an overview of what your down line people are doing. You should be looking at this everyday even if you weren't getting a point for it.

C. ECA and the deal of the day on TC are a point each, and new products on the todo page is another point. That's 3 points but if you do a blog post or do a share on on social media of what is there, then you greatly increase your exposure over time.

What I'm saying here is that the daily VPoints aren't just what they are, they are also what you make them and that could be nothing or everything at your choice.

The following are a few things I would say to an affiliate who thinks that doing the daily 1 VP actions is a waste of time:

I would tell them they could click on Win-It and enter the next day's Daily Grand if they earned at least 10 VP. One of my CSA's won 100 VP today and one of my 16 wins was a Prestige Domain.

I would tell them that they could save money when they decide to place a Standing Order. If they collect all or most of the available VPs, they could place a Standing Order that is smaller than 1500 VPs and still make EA or EA2.

I would tell them that by clicking the ECA tab, they could help sellers from their own country and save on shipping costs.

There are many other benefits I could list, but I don't want to make this post too long.

Action VP is an important component in my total monthly earning which contributes my share is the Executive Pool to determine my monthly income. This is equally true in achieving TL rank where 1000 avps are required to be BTL besides 1500 to 2000 SVPs to make total VPs to 3000.
The more vps I earn, the bigger my sale in the Executive Pool which earns me more income.

Neglecting doing the daily, weekly, monthly and intermediate tasks which contribute almost 500 avps a month is a great loss to me in term of monetary saving and a source of income. It may be immaterial to count 1 avp as 1, but by monthly accumulation of 500 avps, the total loss in term of 1 avp from using 1 tcredit@$1.99 each( in EZ games or pricebenders), will incur a loss of $995. I can buy vps through sales or purchase but I cannot buy AVPs unless I win in Daily Grand, or Daily Crown. I earn it by my action.

An affiliate who totally avoids doing the daily task will never learn or be successful in SFI business.
How active an affiliate is, is reflected in the daily, monthly VP streaks as shown the badges he/she earns. Avoid doing AVPs is leading the road to failure. It is part and parcel of SFI business.

Interesting question.

Usually, those types of people base their ideas on assumption. These types of prospects prefer the “Get Rich Quick Scheme” type of business where they want to get big returns in a very short time.

SFI is not one of those businesses.

SFI goes out of its way to train all its affiliates for free. The 1VP awarded for going through your daily tasks is a period of learning . Eventually as you progress in SFI, that 1VP will increase to more and more VPs and your earnings will grow bigger and bigger and before you know it you have started to make a very handsome income. This reminds me of a biblical verse; “The stone the builders rejected became the cornerstone.” Very powerful.

All it takes is some commitment and persistence from the affiliate. If you stop to think about it, when you start a new physical business you will not make any profits for quite sometime before you reap the benefits. You even go through sleepless nights worrying about where the money is going to come from to pay your employees.

This is the same in SFI except you do not have to pay anyone else. This is your very own business and you have to make it work.

This is where one of SFI’s motto comes in very handy “ Dream Big, Aim High!

The purpose of collecting daily action VPs is twofold.

1. Every VP counts towards achieving your rank, EA being the most important rank to achieve and maintain monthly, as this unlocks your higher earning power.

As your team grows, it is important to reach a TL rank so you can unlock Matching VPs from at least 6 levels of your downline, and earn shares of Second Home CSAs. This is where Action VPs become crucial. EA could be achieved by collecting only Sales VPs but TL ranks cannot be bought, they cannot be reached without a quota of AVPs.

Every VP counts! I have seen posts in the forum where people have been only just short of a few AVP to achieve a TL rank. What if you had missed those few by not completing your daily tasks?

2. Most importantly, completing daily actions means you are taking ACTION in building your business.

Every action VP means you have completed a task that will help you move your business forward, whether it is reading the useful information on the TIPS tab or setting targets on your GOALS tab and checking daily how you are progressing towards achieving them.

Reading the ECA tab will help you connect with ECAs of value and show you how to promote their products.

Completing the EZ and PB tabs will help you promote the games and auctions. Not only do the tabs give you all the information you need to promote them, by participating in them yourself you are gaining experience and can show enthusiasm for them.

The FORUM and ASK SC tabs are extremely important. These places are where you will 'grow your income by growing your knowledge', keep up-to-date with developments and learn from more experienced affiliates.

The MOVERS tab helps you track the activity of your team, and provide leadership to your active team members.

All of the daily actions have been specifically designed by SFI to add value to your business by encouraging you to participate fully and drive you forward.

While the 1VP for each daily action may seem like a drop on the surface of the ocean, many drops fill the ocean!

The daily actions account for up to 450VP each month, and when added to your weekly and monthly actions, and your promotional and team-building activities, are a big help towards your rank!

Furthermore, a true entrepreneurial mindset would not be focussed on the immediate financial return of every action they take, but on how their many, often unpaid, actions will contribute to their success and value of their business in the long-term.

Somebody who thinks that doing their daily 1VP actions is a waste of time really needs to understand just what it takes to become successful. If they have this mindset, they need to change it!

They need to study people who are successful, who are top of their game. I would say to an affiliate who thinks that doing the daily 1 VP actions is a waste of time that is wrong.

First, an affiliate need 1500 VP each month to maintain the Executive Affiliate rank.
By doing all the daily 1 VP actions he will have about 360 VP by the end of the month.
In these conditions he can enter the Daily Grand free draw each day.
He has the opportunity to win prizes there up to 6 times a month.
These prises can be 50 VP, 100 VP, 200 VP, 50 MRP, 10 TCredits and so on.
Each of these prizes can contribute to collecting VPs.
It's clear that VPs collected from daily actions can help in maintaining the EA rank.

Secondly, I would say to this affiliate that who thinks that doing the daily 1 VP actions is a waste of time that these actions remind us that we have to put in practice the lessons, the tools and the trainings available on the Affiliate Center if we want to succeed in this business.

The daily 1 VP actions are a memory aid of all these lessons, tools and trainings SFI provided to his affiliates.

Finaly I would say to this affiliate that the 1 VP we get by doing each Daily Action is a bonus given for having revised our lessons.
For succeeding we have to put what we have learnt in practice.

2. That to be a successful affiliate in SFI one must log in daily and earn VP per action;

3. That clicking the red tabs was designed not only for the affiliate to earn VPs but likewise the opportunity to avail of a free continous learning procees of the system, to enjoy with the games (Card King, Knockout Trivia, Gold Streak,etc.) contest (T-Time, Time Machine, Pick the Price, etc.), and PriceBender auction; and to communicate with the SFI community in the Forum and Ask SC;

4. I have been asked this question on several occasions and I say to each and every one of them that to make a million, you need that 1 shilling or pound or dollar whatever is the case.

The 1 VP that you complain about is the reason for your commissions and is the basis on which you will earn. Ignoring them is tantamount to not having an online business.

The 1 VP helps you learn and keeps you informed of the goings on in the SFI and TripleClicks business. There are 15 Tabs on your SFI homepage and that is where your office operates from - the various tabs allow you to understand your progress and that of the organisation.

Without earning the 1 VP, you will miss out on the benefits that are attached towards the emphasis that you should log in at least once in a day to check out your business.

Remember that the accumulation of your VPs is what qualifies you as an EA and every point matters. Your EA status is the start of your real benefits and you would not call it a waste of time when at the end of the month, it will decide on the figure of your commission.
