Most “fear” is derived from lack of knowledge (the unknown) – even the fear of success. When confronted with the complexities of having a large group of people depending on you to lead them on the road to success can be quite fearful to someone who has never done anything like that before.

Hallo Sheila, I believe most of us have the fear of failing and not the fear success. Many of us have already failed in many diferent ways of life but also, some when they became successful, it was too much for them that they could not cope up with it.

Any way, whatever it might be, tell yourself and your Team the following: If you want something you´ve never had, then you´ve got to do something you´ve never done. There is nothing more intoxicating than doing big, bold and beutiful

Fear of success or fear of failure, may have the same symptoms and both fears will hold you back from achieving your dreams and goals. Many of us is not aware and don’t realize that we’ve been holding ourselves back from achieving & accomplishing something great at SFI.

I have a story somewhat like that, some time ago, I’ll say about 1995 I was about to receive my college degree and had to walk up the steps and across a stage to do so. I had to also shake the hand of the college president, and as well as the keynote speaker, who was at the time, a state senator. I have a friend that has taught me a lot. He's never mentioned me being afraid of anything, and just loves me for who I am. When I allow myself to 'use my head' I naturally face my fear. That's the best way to move beyond fear.

Personally I believe fear is more of an issue than success and how you will handle it when you get it because when a person learns to face your fear than that's how you will handle success.

Fear has a way of paralyzing a person or inspiring them to run.

This is a reality in many circles and to get past it you must have strategies in place that will make your team members feel at ease. The first major hurdle is ignorance, they don't know success and they fear something that they have not ventured into. After seeing success in you as their team leader, the game doesn't end there. It is either you make it or you do not depending on the kind of choices you make. As a leader you take responsibility of all that happens within your team, whether positive or negative.

All you need to be aware of, is that if you choose to succeed your team will succeed and if you choose to fail your team will fail too.

Fear of success is something that I have had to deal with in the past. It left me alone for many years until I joined SFI and saw progress

Years ago, when I took a hard look at my fear of success to the point where I sabotaged each success, I realized I had a fear of failure. I was trying with all of my might; I wanted to win. A part of myself wasn't ready so rather than fail by trying, rather than stopping (thinking that was like quitting), I set myself up to fail.

So true. Communication I feel is the key. Making them feel secure.

We all start out as newbies at some stage, so by sharing our experiences on how we have explored SFI learning while promoting and building our SF business.
This will give these new members a sense of security that earning is achievable with SFI.

Why does a fear arise in first place? That's due to lack of knowledge, isn't it. So, the solution is simple. Gain knowledge about the product well before deciding to continue or call it a quit.
But majority of the people do not pay attention to the importance of reading and subsequently quit due to lack of knowledge.
