Hi,

each of us is blocked by some form of unconscious fear that over time has become part of our mental program. These fears stem from past experiences, encounters wrong, mistakes unintentionally by parents or other people who have been close.
Nobody teaches us that fall in love with ourselves, in everything, is the single most important thing to live a happy life.
 
And so we find ourselves constantly searching for something or someone that we complete, and we are convinced that without that something or someone that we can not be really happy.

  Until proven otherwise on time, of course.

  Think that 80% of the world population suffers from this same problem.

  Oh yes, even those that do not aspetti.Potrebbe surprised how many people who seem so confident, in fact, deep down believe not to be enough.

  They build protective armor for not to show it, but inside they are never satisfied.

How to get rid forever of this fear?

Here are my tips:

1) A stronger mindset that will make you feel more confident and able to handle the most intense emotions in every situation.

2) Better ability to demonstrate and achieve your personal goals.

3) A greater self-control to get rid of bad habits without effort.

4) Increase of intuition and creativity with the best performance ever.

5) A better image of yourself and the emergence of the necessary courage to live fully the life you deserve.

6) A constant sense of inner peace that comes from the ability to live in the here and now!

Fear is the most negative factor in our lives and it hinders the career growth and success of a person. Always do remember that we all are equal and believe in yourself to move forward in life and become successful through hard work and determination.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

It is also to be noted that we all have joined in the SFI as an affiliate without or with minimum knowledge about the system. By grabbing the opportunities to learn and through experience, we are moving forward confidently to become successful. So you should not allow the fear to overrule your sense and make you insecure, confused and hinder your successful progress. I always inspire my team members both new and old alike to believe in themselves first without fear of success and then move forward in the system and if a person can remove the fear off his/her heart, then success will be unlimited.

It is as simple as this. Every morning, say yourself that I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

I learnt that FEAR is the acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.
Fear comes when a danger is perceived or when you see failure in the thing you are trying to do.
Successful people also face things that makes them fearful but they know that boldness is not the absence of fear but the courage to go ahead and do that thing you fear in spite of the fear.

You need to understand that nothing ventured, nothing gained, If you do not attempts to get what you want, you will never get it. Fear is the major thing that deprives people of attempting to start the process of getting what they want, do not allow this to happen to you.

SFI is a sure proven system that is pulling in money for those who have overcome the evil of fear and it continues to bring in money for them, you too can get as much money as you want from SFI when you overcome the fear of acting positively in your business. Be blessed.

Fear of success,you say?
Quite...odd to me.


I may understand that there is fear of responsibility of dozens or hundreds (if not thousands) of affiliates that you may be leader of.There you have to be really conscientious person,to train and to lead them all.Luckily,there are tips about in (search for "How to be awesome sponsor" text).


And how to fight fear?
Well,there is a way.Fight it a little each day.
If your fear is to succeed (it still sounds strange to me,but OK),then try with training yourself.Define first what is success to you.For most it is to have big team (of affiliates and/or ECAs) and to earn a lot.

How to fight it - first big team?
Start with little team.Start with a person (or persons) you know very well.Go through training with them.Teach them how to achieve what you have achieved.Build a leader out of them.
When you succeed in it,go for another shot.Take another well-known person to train.Go again through all the steps and make another leader.
Repeat those steps few times and you will (hopefully) be more relaxed and more sure in yourself,so you will get off the fear of making a (big) team.

How to fight it - lots of money (lots of earning)?
I'm not sure how to answer this,but...similar like with a team:when you begin,you'll have little.As time goes by,you'll be getting more and more.Hopefully you'll adopt by that time.
Even if you're not adopted to earn that much as you're earning,well,there's always a solution:give it to charity or something like that.They don't have fear of money ;)

Hi,

This is a great question. First off in order for you to achieve real success in a home based business such as SFI or any other venture that you undertake that requires a lot of hard work and unwavering dedication and sacrifice, you must have the belief and right mindset. In order to build up your self belief and be of the right mindset to achieve and accept success, you must study the lives and background of successful people, you must set lofty but attainable and measurable goals, write out your goals and aspirations on paper, repeat them aloud to yourself twice daily so that you actually convince yourself and believe that you are going to become successful.

Becoming successful is something that can be taught and learned, buy books and teach yourself strategies and techniques for success. Most importantly you have to be unwavering in your belief that success is your right no matter how long it might seem to be taking to arrive.

If the problem of fear of success is prevalent among your team members, you have to transfer/teach them the principles that you used to become comfortable with success and accept that success is your birth right. In this business it is all about team work and you as team leader must employ strategies to get the best out your team members so that they too can be successful.

The book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill is a great read, you should read it and recommend it and other similar literature to your team to help them develop self confidence and belief that they are entitled to success and will succeed.

You might be surprised to know that many people are affected by the fear of success. Many joined SFI in search of better opportunity, to become an entrepreneur, to quit their full time work, improve their way of living and attain financial freedom. But somehow and sometimes doubts set in and you need to recognize what this doubt/fear is in order to eliminate it and strengthen your desire for success.

In order to understand the fear of success, you need to know the reasons why people have a fear of success:

- Afraid of the outcome of your actions towards achieving success

- Uncertain of lifestyle changes that might be required

- Worried about the affects of your success in your relationships – Family/Friends/Co-workers

- Scared of responsibility or extra work associated with being successful

- Skeptical on what success can bring – Whether jealousy among friends or fear of loneliness

Before you can help your team members to overcome the fear of success, you’ll need to look at yourself if you have it.

Here are things to consider that might relate you to a fear of success and could hold you back from success if not dealt with:

- Keeping your accomplishments to yourself, and do not express them to others

- Procrastinate or avoid projects with big roles or big responsibility

- Think that sustaining a successful life would be too difficult, and you will
lose it

- Feel guilty of success – Worry of family or friends without the same success

Why do I feel I cannot or should not achieve the success of my SFI business?

What emotions and fears am I experiencing in venturing my SFI business?

What actions am I performing to prevent achieving the success of my SFI business

When you understand your subconscious behaviors, you will soon eliminate your concerns related to the outcomes of success. When asking yourself these questions, think pass what you want to see happen, or fear to happen, and think about the most likely outcomes.

When achieving success, discuss it with your team members, to encourage and motivate them. Most family and friends are accepting, and happy for your success. A handful of your family and friends can react negatively towards it because of jealousy or thinking they are better.

Let your team members know how you dealt with it. Brushing away jealous and negative remarks is a great practice for overcoming the fear of success.

Please do not mind my pointing out that the right word in place of success should be failure. Yes, the fear of failure keeps many people from trying a new venture.

These people should be politely made to realise that one cannot learn swimming without going into the water. It is the job and responsibility of the swimming coach to hold the hand of the trainee and gently prod and coax the trainee into walking into the water of the shallow bed. Once in the water, the trainee gains a bit of confidence. From there on, the coach starts teaching bit by bit to grow his confidence. You rarely get a trainee-swimmer who jumps into the water, knowing that the coach is there to help him out.

This is exactly the job for us, the sponsors. We should slowly and politely lead the frightened affiliates and help him do the simple job of the TO-DO list, and read as much as possible. The more he reads, the more confidence he gathers. Tell him to read as many ASK SC answers daily, and visit the forum daily to read the questions and answers there.

If the affiliate does it consistently for seven days, you have got a winner on your movers list.

Fear of failure plays a vital and direct role for most people in their decision making, whoxe impact can be absolutely devastating in most of the cases. If one goes a little deep inside the psyche of an individual, the fear or lack of courage cripples or paralysizes the decision-making ability, serenity and equanimity of the mind, thereby there is a direct deficit or drawback in the decision taken by that individual.

Hence, it becomes automatically necessary for all the supports like the TLs or Sponsors or Co-sponsors to have a fully mature minds, again full of experience in dealing with such cases. Some of them might have endured the same malady or mental disability themselves, by virtue of some other person who has provided timely help and saved him, provides first hand experience and helps in finding various ways and means to extending help to the suffering individual. This fear of failure would extend its tentacles and reflect in almost all walks of life in an suffering individuals thereby totally crippling him and make his entire life useless.

The TLs, Sponsors or Co-sponsors may adopt various ways and means or follow various methods to motivate the suffering individual with fear, mostly with soothing words and by providing the individual various true life incidents or events and saving the individual falling into the eternal abyss.

First off Fear of Success is more common and real than most people think.

I couldn't believe the number of people telling you that you meant fear of failure when in fact you asked an even better question. See we all have fear of failure, but we all have stories in our life where we got past that fear and had some success.

Fear of success though is deep rooted.

We see in a good number of movies and TV shows growing up where the rich guy has a bad attitude, they're all alone, the kids are trying to bury them early for their money, and the competition is trying to put them back in the poorhouse.

We also get old enough to read or watch the news where we are bombarded with stories of ex professional athletes and movie stars who blew through 100 million or more on partying, and bad investments. People who had a college education, a dream job, agents, and investment bankers on speed dial, and lifetime endorsements for new money and they still go bankrupt and lose everything.

We only hear the stories of the ones who fail because nobody turns to page 6 to read about Warren Buffet, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, the Koch Brothers etc.. They scoff at the cars and houses and investment portfolios and tell themselves that could never be me or that these people can't possibly be happy.

What's worse is even if we figure out the failures of others in the spotlight need not be our own we still have to ask if this really could happen to us.

My dad, and I say this with love, was one such person who had to tear down the things that were working because he learned to fear success. He was married twice before my mom and had a good career as a Chef for Holiday Inn, and later as partner in a detective agency and owning several restaurants of his own. Both those marriages saw the beloved wives cheat on him and divorce him taking a good share of what he built up, mostly because he was married to the work that bought them nice things.

As a result, by wife 3 and kids 2 and 3 AKA me and my Brother he was scared to death of building too much because he feared that when we didn't need him any more we would all leave as had happened to him before. He owned his own business but instead of living in houses and saving money we lived in motels and ate in restaurants eating the profits up as fast as the money was made.

Even when I started my first business at 14 and our earnings went up to nearly 80,000 a year he would find ways to spend the money. We always has a couple cars, were building yet another Motor Home Bus, had computers and Nintendo with tons of games, and more movies than we really had room for while still eating out and taking yearly trips from Southern California to Florida and South Georgia.

The money went fast and even when it landed us broke down and broke in Clark Florida and put us living 4 people to the bed of a pickup trying to scrounge money for repairs and gas, he still didn't start saving anything back.

Fear of success is real, even when you don't learn it from the movies or TV it still hits and it is still based on the fear of the unknown meeting the idea of what others have gone through.

To get past it we have to each decide that the fate of others is not our own, that we deserve success, and that we will have a wonderful life. We need to tell ourselves each day that this is the life for us, that we will always be kind, always help others, always value our family, always love a kind and merciful God. Once we realize this we are no longer afraid to succeed.

The question you have asked is very true and very good. We all want success but somewhere in our heart we have fear also to lose. So i will discuss few solutions which will help you to overcome the fear of success in your team members.


1. Need to talk and discuss your growth among the team members: How often do we hold the negative in because we are afraid of how others might react, or because of some other reason? Talking helps, but don’t throw a pity party for yourself.


2. Be positive and teach others to be Positive: Whenever fear strikes, flip it over. Instead of thinking of something bad that can happen, think of something positive. What’s a positive outcome to your fear? If you’re thinking about public speaking, imagine yourself being wildly successful instead of failing horribly.


3. Become your own and your team's hero/idol: We all tell ourselves a story about our fear. If I’m afraid that no one will like my writing, I tell myself a story (in my head) about how I’ll fail horribly, people will laugh at me, or even worse, no one will read what I have to say. What’s your story? Share you journey in SFI and your positive views about this program among the team.


4. Become a helping hand for others: Be kind to others. If you’re shy, focus on helping people instead of being self-conscious about how you look or sound when you talk or when you reply to their messages. Flip it on other people and make yourself feel good.


5. Understand failure: When you will be able to make your team members to realize that failure is not the end of the world, you become free. Failure is just a stepping stone to success. And most of our fears are fear of failure, shame, or somehow not living up to the standards society
has put up for us.
Remember the quote of SFI "AIM HIGH, DREAM BIG"


6. Create awareness among your team: Before you can begin overcoming fear, you have to know that they are causing havoc in your life. It’s easy to get so attached to your thoughts and feelings that you think they are all that exist, which couldn't be further from the truth.
Once you will start creating awareness among you team, about everyone's journey in SFI. It will surely boost others confidence.
