We can communicate with our team with all possible ways.

What I do is send them weekly mails, And most of my team members have restricted time for SFI,and for this I keep them updated with latest happenings with SFI and Triple clicks so that they dont miss any new changes with SFI.

I send individual mails based on their VP.I periodically check and keep them updated where they have missed if anything.

I send ecards for their daily draw winnings ,E365,Daily Crown etc...

And I add my skype id ,mail id and whats up number in all my communicate mails, and this works wonders for me.

Many of my members right round the world are in my whats up contact and they get immediate response from me if they need my guidance.

As an added advantage the non active PSA,CSA s too message me through whats up asking what is SFI and how to work with SFI and I have examples of active members.

For me, though we have plenty ways to communicate with our team, the most effective way is whatsup.

I recently had a sponsor in a networking business tell me I was a loser, that I deserved to be poor, and that I would never make it. All this came about because I made the decision to not continue in his organization. I think my reasons might be obvious to you. Regardless, I was hurt and shocked by his comments. The true message he conveyed to me is that he didn't care about me; he cared about making money. If I couldn't make money for him, then I didn't matter to him.

In many people's opinion, myself included, those we sponsor need to know that we truly care about them as human beings, no matter what language they speak, what part of the world they come from, what customs they practice, what gender, or what age they are. If they do not feel like we really care about them, we may lose out on one of the biggest tests we will face. Not that we may not be successful in building a large, team. But, rather that we may lose out in being a caring human being. The cement that holds the people together in any solid, "healthy" organization is compassion and love. But wait, I will go a step further. Get ready for this statement: If we truly care, we cannot be concerned about the results of caring, the results of displaying compassion or genuine concern. Why? Because that would be deceptive and disingenuous. In plain words - "phony". A paradox? It depends on what is in your heart.

The man who told me I was a loser says he is highly successful in marketing and building organizations. And, I believe he is. His group now is the largest in the company. Is he successful? Yes...in building, in making money, in driving nice cars, and in vacationing in luxury resorts. If that is what you want, maybe you need to follow those who have that as their "WHY"--what drives them.

My sponsor in SFI recently told me something that is still rattling around in my brain. He said the most important thing for you to do in this business is to be yourself. And if you are lucky, every day you will demonstrate HONESTY, INTEGRITY, PERSISTENCE, AND LOVE. Will you build a large organization in SFI? I don't know. If you are like my former sponsor, one who passionately pursues success no matter whose toes he steps on or whose feelings he hurts along the way, will you be successful. Maybe. He thinks he is.

Perhaps, the real question to ask is, what success are you looking for? My mother was a kind, loving person who was loved by all. Was she a good business woman? No! Was she successful in helping others feel important and loved and needed? She was the best.

In the final analysis, perhaps we need to ask our affiliates what THEY WANT? What THEY NEED? Successful marketing is the art and science of helping others identify their needs and then positioning ourselves as one who can help solve their problems. So, perhaps that is where we need to begin. Perhaps we need to discover exactly what they need and start from there. If the affiliate just wants to earn money and build an organization, we put on our builders hat and give it to them straightforward and to the point. If what the affiliate needs is for us to understand them, communicate with them, get to know them, and care about them as humans, then we start there. Our task is to know the difference.

Effective communication plays a vital role in building up your SFI business.

While there are several methods of communicating with your team, there is no one best way.

Communication tools include weekly newsletters, PSA mailer, CSA mailer, Genealogy group mailer, Team mail, Email, websites, blogs etc.

Weekly newsletters are an effective medium for training purposes.

Email is an effective medium for personal one-to-one attention for team members.

The PSA and CSA mailers are effective mediums if you want to focus on your PSAs or CSAs.

The genealogy group mailer provides for effective across the board communication with your team and selection of certain segments.

Your personal website and blogs are effective communication tools while at the same time attracting new PSAs.

Holding localised meetings with your PSAs who live close to you is another effective method.

Hi David, I am a motivational speaker with many years of experience in human capacity building and personal development.
Communication is key when it comes to business generally. More importantly, when your success depend on others such as it is in SFI;
right words are like ointment that heals wounds; and move the spirit of people to work.

To communicate effectively with your team, the following points are relevant:

1. See your team members as colleagues and not your sub-ordinate, therefore don't be too pushy in what you want them to do.
2. Carefully select your words to be in form of advice rather than criticizing.
3. Use inclusive words like "we", "our", "all of us" etc. in your email.
4. Appreciate the affiliate's contribution before mentioning what he or she should improve upon (if any).
5. Always share your past experiences in related or similar situation and how you survived it.
6. If using email; let your mail content be formal instead of informal.
7. Lead by example, ensure you have done what you want your PSAs and/or CSAs to do.
8. Hash words should NEVER proceed from your mouth to your team members at any time.
9. Let them know you are willing to help them achieve success as your team members.
10 .Ensure your leadership page and blog are up-to-date;direct them to your blog and Leadership page in every correspondence.

There are many and various ways of communicating with team members but I think the main thing to do is work out which way is best for each individual member.

This is of course easier when you have a small team. If you have a large number of affiliates, I would recommend that you focus your communication efforts on your movers. Sure you still need to keep in contact with all members of your team, but make sure you do not lose contact with your workers. They are the ones who will bring you the money.

The main ways I communicate with my team members are - emails, streams, e-cards and newsletter and I find emails and e-cards to be the most effective way to connect with them.

The majority of the emails I receive from my team members are in reply to my e-card messages. I use the E-Cards a lot. They are easy and quick to use personal messages. The only minor draw back is that if I forget to save them, the messages are lost ones they have been sent.

I find that all my workers communicate with me by email.

Whenever I see one of my people are online, I send them a chat request and connect with them that way. I also connect with some of my team on FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Skype is also good.

Speaking to them on the phone is not always possible for me because of where I live, the difficulty of time zones and of course the costs involved. I am afterall running a business.

So for team messages, I stick with the streams and Newsletters but for the workers, I use E-Cards and Email.

TIP: If you haven't done so already entered all your teams emails on a mail group in your Gmail, Yahoo or whatever you use. Call it SFI Group and send out emails to them using the bcc facility say ones a month. Those emails that come back to you as undelivered are obviously not correct so you can try and find other means of connecting with those people. Every time you add PSA & CSA to your team add their emails to your group and if they leave SFI, take their names off you group mail.

In a perfect world my team would all adopt Skype or let me put them on a list for Google Plus Hangouts, or in a Facebook Chat.

Reality is each of the members will use one of these, some of these, or none of these. Some will give me an e-mail address that works and some will even provide a phone number I might be able to call from my cell. There will also be some who have the audacity to think they can run a business with no human contact or interaction.

So where I am at in my business I ask the ones by direct e-mail who will respond, which method is best to reach them, and if they are willing to try Skype or join a Facebook Chat. Daily contact is always best to keep a team on track and motivated. Even if you aren't talking about the business you will be a reminder of the work they aren't doing or part of the reason they continue doing the work.

I had a successful Skype Group managed business for over 7 years and the level of teamwork and dedication was second to none. Trust was built, and a lot of work got done and everyone looked forward to turning their Skype on daily. I would love to have my team all have Skype or a similar tool and work together like that, we would be unstoppable.

When speaking of your “team” I am assuming to believe you are including everyone in your team.

The best way that I know of to communicate to your entire team is through group mailings. There isn’t very many ways to communicate with a few thousand affiliates separately and get it done in a reasonable time span.

Now when I have something to share with just the movers in my Team I will send out individual emails or I will use the Ecards offered to us through SFI.

The best way to communicate would be face to face but you can see how it is next to impossible to achieve. Just the sheer numbers alone make it impossible also there are great time differences with many of your team affiliates.

I have a Skype account and I have shared my number but for the last two years no one on my team has used it. If they were all to contact me that way I wouldn’t have time to build my own business.

It is true that we are building “relationships” and “friendships” and that a personal touch and a little social gabbing is needed once and a while. Get yourself a fan page on Facebook and keep it tightly controlled for your teammates only.

But keep in mind that we are building a business and our down-lines need to be able to duplicate what we as their leaders are doing. So we need to be using the services that SFI and TripleClicks has provided for all the affiliates.

In each of your weekly newsletters make sure you list the different ways that your team can contact you, this way someone who needs a little personal help can get ahold of you

So in this case I would say the most effective way to communicate with your team (using the SFI mailer systems) is to be consistent – informative – use fresh content that is relevant to building a business. Recognize achievers and share testimonies and personal notes on what works and what doesn’t work.

I consider communication to be effective when you receive a response from the person to whom the communication is addressed to. At least this remains the prime objective of any kind of communication.

To create the above result you need to understand certain constraints that follow all communication and in particular with SFI, there are limitations of language, different time zones and interest in SFI.

With my own experience, I find that SFI has various methods that allow you to communicate with your team but not all may augur well with the affiliates with whom you are communicating. At times, the weekly newsletters that we send out in the team mail prove to have a negative effect because affiliates feel that it is repetitive and generally they consider to be too much mail from SFI. Keeping this in mind, I try and add my own communicating methods and include:

- one on one chat through telephone contact-the advantage of this is that normally the majority of people have a tendency to reply to these messages; I provide my cell contact and can also create a group chat where others are able to participate.

- a voice message is also an effective method I adopt to send answers to queries and I try and follow what is easier for the team member;

- as far as possible, I try to avoid long messages and prefer to "talk" more than write. This creates a personal rapport with the member and with time, you develop more of a friendship than a business relationship. This is important for the team and you.

- for a small minority of my team members, when I come across an interesting article I wish to share, I use email so it is a different topic from what is commonly seen by everyone.

It is difficult to generalise and adopt similar methods of communication for everyone but you must use your discretion and deal with each situation specifically.

d) A Sponsor or Co-Sponsor can even utilize the a2a webpage as a means of communication with all or some of the member affiliates.

In reality or actually it all boils down to the urgency or expediency of the message that is to be communicated and its importance or classification of the contents. Depending upon the above conditions and situations, all Sponsors and Co-Sponsors adopt one or several means of Communication in order to communicate the message that they intend to communicate with all or some of the member affiliates.

The effectiveness of the communication entirely depends upon the clarity of idea of the sender, the medium that he or she adopts and the ease with which the receiver has received the message totally and grasped/acted upon the content of the message.
