To The Pumpkin Pickers

I'm a retired educator. I've worked with kids and parents my whole life. I've seen real poverty right here in America. I didn't have to travel to 3rd world countries to see it. I spent many nights making home visits to families that lived on government handouts, food stamps, and in filthy living conditions. It's a very sad thing to witness, especially because I liked and cared about all these families. I very often wished I could do something to help them out; to

I recently had a sponsor in a networking business tell me I was a loser, that I deserved to be poor, and that I would never make it. All this came about because I made the decision to not continue in his organization. I think my reasons might be obvious to you. Regardless, I was hurt and shocked by his comments. The true message he conveyed to me is that he didn't care about me; he cared about making money. If I couldn't make money for him, then I didn't matter to him.

You might want to use the analogy of a buyers club. In a buyers club, a membership is built by people joining for a small fee and by referring others to the club. All the members in turn use the "store" to make their purchases. Also, they earn credits or points by referring others to the club, which can be used to make purchases in the store.

In SFI, we can join the SFI organization for no fee, but to sponsor others and to build the affiliate base, one might have to spend a modest

Once upon a time in the town of Pleasantville there lived a young man named Elmer. Elmer was a hard working guy who labored for years working for the local manufacturer in Pleasantville. It was hard work, long hours, little vacation time, and Elmer wasn't making enough money to satisfy his needs to "get ahead”. His wife complained that he wasn't earning enough money. She was unhappy, too. Over the evening meal, Elmer would often complain to his wife, “I did everything I was told to do. I

SFI was brilliantly conceived by Mr. Gery Carson. He built the structure and concept for SFI from his years of involvement in network marketing, an industry in which he became a leader. He understands how the system works. And from his knowledge of the world of marketing, he constructed SFI.

SFI is essentially a marketing arm for TripleClicks, the online e-commerce portal for the purchase and sales of products and services. Although there are profits to be made by being an SFI affiliate

I have a superstar in our team. Let me tell you a little about her.

She is from Nigeria. When she joined SFI, she took off like a rocket. In fact, I didn't even know she had joined SFI because my computer was in the repair shop at the time. So, I wasn't on the SFI site for a few days. When I finally got my computer back and logged on to SFI, this young lady from Nigeria had already made it to Bronze and in just a few more days, she was a Silver Team Leader.

How did this happen?

I want to recruit only SERIOUS affiliates. What should I tell prospects about SFI to ensure this?

Without knowing how one is recruiting others into SFI, I would have to say that a screening process might be in order. A little explanation beforehand in the splash page or gateway page could alert the potential affiliate of the daily responsibilities involved in being successful in SFI before they sign up. You could go as far as letting them know that this program is not a get rich overnight process. In reality, as Gery Carson states, it takes a few years to build up a team of executive affiliates,

It is my personal opinion that you cannot attend personally to all your affiliates. As we know, many affiliates are inactive, and many will not become active. That's just a fact.

What we can do is attend to those who show some interest in building their SFI business. It has been my experience that they are, in general, open to suggestions and to our help as team leaders. So, we need to focus on helping those who want our help. We need to be positive and helpful. Avoid being critical in

A simple way to advertise your SFI business is to go to Facebook and join several home business groups. Once you are established in a group, you can simply advertise your SFI opportunity within the group. Many groups want to know what opportunities are out there.

Some examples of groups on Facebook are: "Making Money Online", "Advertise your MLM Network Marketing Company", "Home-Based Business", and "Work From Home". Just a few of the dozens of

When I was in college as an undergraduate, I took a course in Educational Psychology. The professor was a gentleman who was a terrific teacher and motivational speaker. I learned more from him than most any other teacher I had in the four years at that university.

He impacted me to such a degree that I wanted to be like him. I wanted to pursue psychology and possibly become a teacher some day myself. I was moved by him, I was excited by his teachings, I was impressed by his knowledge and
