To get your affiliates to respond to your messages, first off keep your messages short and to the point.

You want your affiliates to read your messages and not ignore them or worse still block them altogether. So keep them short, use everyday language (words) wherever possible and make your point as soon as possible. Include images if possible to draw their attention to your messages. Having images can reinforce your message or explain your message better than words.

Having overcome hurdle number one and you have your affiliates reading your messages, you want your affiliates "to respond to you." In other words you want them to communicate with you regarding your messages.

This is really what the question is all about.

To achieve this I recommend the following:

1. Do remember to ask them to respond to your message. Just because you sent a message does not mean they will automatically send you a message in return. As per the Biblical saying ‘Ask and you will receive.’

2. Chat with them whenever possible. Take every opportunity to talk with them such as: You can check the Genealogy for birthdays daily and send then e- birthday cards; when you see that they are online, say hello; when you see a posting in the Forum from one of your team members, connect and post a reply/comment; you see that they have won a prize of some sort, send them a congratulatory message; when they reach milestone, make a big fuzz of their achievement.......... In other words, be an awesome sponsor and constantly be with them, supporting them, cheering them on. You do these and they cannot ignore your messages for long. They will respond.

3. Your Streams and Newsletters are much much more than means of getting yourself VPs. I suggest that you take the approach that getting the VPs is a by-product of good content streams and newsletters. The focus should always be the affiliates and their needs. I always include in my newsletter a request for some feedbacks. How did they find the newsletter and if they can suggest anyway of improving it. I do get comments not only the newsletter but also at the streams.

4. You can also try some sort of ‘respond for reward.’ If you are running a team survey, you could say th the 1st 10 people to respond will receive 2 TCredit each. aske sure you keep to your word.

5. Recently I sent out a list of resources that my sponsor was making available for the team and asked them to rate the products in their order of preference. That was a huge success and I am still collating the responses for my sponsor. I think this great response was because they can see the benefits of what is being offered.

So, apart from sending short, clear and easy to understand messages, as you can see from the above if you also focus on the wants and needs of your team, they will definitely respond to your messages

You obviously want to support and sponsor your team. The new feature has been added to help all of us do just that.

There are many people that relate much easier to images rather than just text (words). In fact I would go as far as to say most people do. Images stand out better than text and peoples’ eyes are naturally drawn to them. There is a saying that ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ or something similar. This new feature capitalises on that.

I would suggest that you continue with your text messages on Stream and your Leadership Page. This time however include images that are relevant to your message. If say your message is to encourage your affiliates to continue working, include an image that drives this message home. You can use a picture or a quote in a poster etc..

There are many images on the SFI/TC sites that you can use. There are also plenty of images and posters on the internet. Just make sure you have authority to use them.

The fact that you do realise that you have low self-esteem and that it would affect the way you lead your team is a good start. And you have taken a further step to deal with it by asking this question. Good for you.

Self-esteem refers to your overall opinion of yourself and the value you place on yourself as a person. Low self-esteem is when this opinion of yourself is negative: for example, 'I'm useless' or 'I'm unworthy'. This opinion can be changed with positive and determined action by yourself. It takes time. You can seek professional help if you like.

You say that you lack experience, this can be a symptom of your low self esteem, but I suspect its simply because you have not done much or anything similar to the SFI business.

There are many tools available within SFI that can help. There is also a lot of information on the internet about self esteem and what you can do to overcome or to combat low self esteem.

I believe that the best way to combat low self esteem and lack of experience in order to become a good SFI team leader is to just get in there and do it.

Become more active in SFI and grow your team. Read all about how to become an 'awesome sponsor' and put as many of these into practice as much as possible. Treat your team members as you would like to be treated: with care and respect, encouraging them, acknowledging their achievements, training them and urging them on. Its not going to be easy and you have to keep at it.

When you or your team members have some successes, savor and celebrate them. Pat yourself on the back and say 'Yes! I've done it!'

In time you will grow in knowledge and experience. Any thoughts of being unworthy to be a good SFI team leader will vanish and with confidence you will enjoy leading your team.

In SFI, although we promote ‘working with the workers’ we also at the same time encourage all to stay in contact with all their other affiliates – those who have become inactive and even those who have never logon after signing up. As long as they have not opt-out of SFI there is still the hope that they will come to realise what a fantastic opportunity SFI is and become active.

With these ‘inactive affiliates,’ your role is to ‘open their eyes,’ to SFI and to motivate them to become active. This needs to be done in an informative, encouraging, friendly and exciting manner.

My former sponsor used to tell her inactive affiliates to opt-out of SFI is they are not going to be active. This of course did not revive them to become active and sure enough many of them did opt out. I strongly advice against doing that. You want them to stay on the books so that you can encourage them to be active again. You have spent time and money recruiting and sponsoring them so don’t give up on them, push them away or ignore them.

I have had some success in reviving some inactive affiliates and this is what I do:

1. I check the ‘Movers’ tab daily and see who is starting to lag behind. If they have not logon for 3 days, I send them a ‘Hello’ message. Its simply to stay in contact and to remind them of my availability to help. If they continue to fall behind, I would continue to send them encouraging message. The idea is to prevent them becoming inactive.

2. Of those who become inactive, I focus on those who were on the movers list, have actually logon and have collected some VPs, completed some Launchpad lessons, confirmed registration, or communicated with me but have since become inactive. Where appropriate I send them individual messages taking into account what they have achieved to date, the information on their profile and what I believe the future is likely for them.

3. When I send out newsletters, it is to all my team members. I generally try to include in there information about developments within the SFI and within the team and also some training material.

4. I believe the secret here is keeping in contact with them and telling them about the many development in SFI/TripleClicks. Remember be informative, encouraging, friendly and excited.

Be excited about the developments and tell them why you are excited.

Tell them about such matters as the DD Program, Milestone Shares, CSA Exchange, CSA allocation & Badges, Fast Track Extensions, the EZ Games, the many types of Pricebender Auctions, the new Rank Qualification requirements, The Plan etc...

5. Set up team contests and invite & encourage them to participate.

6. When they send you messages or log on, you need to respond immediately. Tell them how excited you are to hear from them or to see them logon. Welcome them, encourage them and reassure them of your support and that you will help them wherever you can.

7. Most of all, I try to set myself up as a role model to them all. I try to live what I preach – do as I say. I strongly recommend you do the same. If you are talking about the auctions, make sure you are participating in the auctions. If you are talking about Fast Track, make sure you are a Fast Tracker, if not ask your sponsor for a Fast Track Extension. If you are talking about login daily, make sure you are doing the same. The list goes no.......

I believe that what you can do is to bring all the important announcements to their attention and encourage them to read them.

Encourage them to subscribe to the SFI news.

Encourage them to login daily and check their Alert tab at the Affiliate Centre for the announcements.

Message them about any new announcements using Stream and/or Group Mailer. You can also include the announcements in your weekly newsletter.

Talk about ‘Spin & Win’ to win easy VPs & where to find the announcements for these. I often put these on Stream to alert them to read the SFI News for details of new Spin & Win.

If they are not getting the emails, get them to check in their Spam folder, get them to whitelist the SFI email and make sure they have updated their details at SFI with any new email address they have changed to.

Encourage them to go to the Forum and check out the ‘Must Read’ threads tab. These are almost always about new announcements. They can also join in the discussion there about the announcements.

You can also run team contests on the important announcements. You can pose a question and all the correct answers go into a draw to win TCredits or reassignments or advertising campaign etc...

Read all the announcements yourself and be prepared to discuss them not only on the Forum but in response to any questions your team members may have. This would be a great confirmation that they are actually reading the announcements.

Rather than send out a welcome letter, I would quickly send out an e-card as soon as I get the notification of the reassignment. The 'I'm Excited' cards are my favourite at the moment I would would recommend them. Be excited that you have another PSA on your team and let your words on the card convey this excitement.

You can also briefly tell them the reason why you are his new sponsor especially if they have been in SFI for a while - greet them in their preferred language if you speak the same and if that is why they have been reassigned - if its because you are in the same region/country/continent use that as well.

If they are brand new to SFI, the reassignment should not matter too much to them.

Let them know that not only are you excited to have them on your team but you are also going to do your very best to help them grow their businesses. They can expect further messages from you to help them and also if they have any questions, queries or whatever all they have to do is contact you and you will help.

Make them feel that you consider yourself very fortunate to have them on your team, you are pleased and excited and that you are here for them. If you do this well I am sure that any feeling of being 'bounced around' would just simply evaporate.

Yes - purchasing website traffic works BUT:

Purchasing website traffic works in that it will get traffic to your website or the gateways that you are promoting. The important part however is converting that traffic into sales and/or sign ups.

It does not really matter how much traffic is going to your site, how many hits, how many people come and look, if they dont join SFI or TC you are not achieving what you set out to achieve.

If they are visiting and not signing up, have a look why that is so. Have a look at you ad. Have a look at your site. Determine why they are not signing up and fix it.

The other point to remember is that they have visited your site because they are interested. If they dont sign up and go away and unless you have a way of contacting them, you have lost a possible PSA or PRM. You have lost a lead.

What I would suggest is that you entice them into giving you their contact details so that you can follow up with them later on. How to entice them to leave their contact details? Have an item of value that you can offer them for visiting your site. Get them to leave their details if they want what you have to offer.

So regarding your question, purchasing the website traffic can work if you are able to convert that traffic into PSAs and PRMs.

To determine what products to promote, it pays to have a little understanding of Easter holiday.

Easter is a Christian religious holiday. It has a lead in period of 40 days called Lent then the week of Easter, called Holy Week, and then a winding down period - Eastertide. Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of the Lord Jesus Christ on Good Friday and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday.

There are roughly 2.17 billion Christians in the world (31.4% of the global population) who are likely to celebrate Easter.

Knowing this should help you determine what religious items to promote such as:

Crucifix, cross,
related religious icons and pictures,
prayer cards,
Christian books - Bibles
Easter cards,
Easter music and hymns, praise and worship music,
easter eggs (sign of new life),
sweets, candy, chocolate (celebratory foods)

There are plenty of these items at TripleClicks. As it is Lent now, dont delay your promotions any longer. I suggest you get on with it.

Easter is normally during spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere. Think about what people are most likely to do during those seasons. Its still warm in the south but its getting warmer in the north.

People are likely to go to the beach - how about promoting beach wear and how about incorporating an Easter theme with those- eg t-shirt with Easter message on it?

Easter is also another time when families and friends get together. When people get together they normally eat. How about promoting such things as BBQ sets & accessories, cook books etc..

The weather is reasonably warm and people a likely to spend time outdoors. Have a look at camping equipment, picnic items, DIY books, gardening book & tools etc...

While Easter is a religious holiday and many Christians will be celebrating it, there are also other people who will take advantage of it to travel, spend time with the family, do nothing, work on projects at home etc... Target them all and promote your selected TC products.

You are quite right - FaceBook is overcrowded with online job ads. Facebook however is the biggest social media and is one of the most frequented site there is. That is why there are many online job ads there. They are getting results. Using a fishing analogy 'you fish where the fish are biting.'

I would say dont be in a hurry to go elsewhere. SFI is not a job so dont advertise it as a job. You are building a business, so advertise under the business section - business opportunity - business on offer.

Have a look also at FaceBook paid advertising not just posting you ads on pages for free. Free postings are quickly superseded by other postings so you are constantly having to post ads to stay on top. With the paid ads however you do not have this problem and your ads exposure is guaranteed.

If you really want to move away from FaceBook, there are many options open to you. You can join traffic exchanges, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, classified sites etc.. These are all readily available online. Some are free and some you have to pay for.
