Motivating the masses to respond to digital communications is simply not possible.

It's not possible because people are designed to respond to what interest them instead of respond on demand. I personally read dozens of post in the SFI Forums every day and respond to 3-5 post because I simply can't add anything that hasn't already been said to the conversation.

Still there are ways to get your readers interested in responding back.

1. Challenge them: Give them task with a reward at the end of the tunnel that they have to respond back to you to claim.

2. Mention them: When a team member does something great add them to your team mail for the week, they do something good add them to your stream or use the recognition tab in the forum.

3. Question them: Look at our almost hidden survey near the bottom left of the page where thousands of affiliates respond to the questions. Look at the popularity of Knock out Trivia, and Gold Streak. Watch how many respond when questions are asked in the forum. People love to be asked their opinion and get affirmation of their knowledge.

4. Gift them: Give them a free report or ebook and track the link to see how many in your list take up your offer. You will be surprised that more people will respond with action than words.

5. Blog or offer an off site newsletter: I get more response from my private responder than I do the Team Mail and farm more action to my blog post linked from team mail. The fact is people are paying attention even if they don't say anything back to you.

These 5 tips will get you measurable results so your mind can be at ease, but don't expect more than 4% of your downline to take action, this is the same for any contact list but keep in mind that of the 4% who are paying attention and taking action eventually 5-15% of them will become active and join your efforts statistically.

I never say Amazing Question but this is one of the most dynamic Big Picture questions I have seen.

Planning for progress is something to never put off and should begin each night before the dust settles on today. A Plan for tomorrow gives one something to look forward to while success with the places of today gives one motivation.

Here are some of the things I do that have long term positive effect on my SFI Business.

1. A minimum of 1 new blog post per week will provide traffic and conversions for months to come, especially if I optimized it properly for my chosen keywords.

2. I send inspirational, motivational, and educational tweets and Facebook post to keep friends and followers interested in the things I say and get's them ready to talk 1 on 1. Social media is a great conversation starter and builds friends as well as business partners if you build a personal brand like this instead of just posting advertising.

3. I send a weekly newsletter on online marketing every Tuesday that has both online and e-mail editions so it can be syndicated, back tracked, shared, saved, forwarded or simply enjoyed in the reader's spare time.

4. I learn something new every day. Knowledge makes one stronger, faster, better.

5. I teach something every day. Either in the SFI forums, places like Warrior Forum, on social media sites or by special tips e-mails I help others by giving as much as I take from the vast library that is the internet.

6. I have a traffic source that gets me 3 minute visitors to my blog which turns into multiple page views or full articles read, comments and more. I spend 30 to 60 minutes a day viewing other people's sites for 3 or more minutes each and commenting on many of their blogs etc.. This builds quality inbound traffic and let's me gain a few natural inbound links from commenting.

7. I work on partnering for growth, be it team builds, multiple author blogs, or shared social media pages, groups, and chats or even co-authoring reports and e-books to use as giveaways for list building.

8. I spend time though I should spend more of it tracking links to see where traffic is coming from, what traffic is converting to PSA or visitors to my blogs, and have just started a journal to record and compile this information so I waste less time and accomplish so much more with every advertising action. It's like mapping popular tourist spots, if there are people and they are buying they go on your map, if there is nobody there or no interest in souvenirs they land on a back page or no page at all.

9. I communicate with my team using stream or weekly team mail, Skype, or my newsletter system and a few by private e-mail because communication equals retention unless you are a constant salesperson.

10. I give praise. It might seem small but honoring those around us inside SFI, on social media sites, or even offline can put spring in your step, a smile in your heart, and open up new opportunities in the process. Your passion will shine through and people remember the attention given to them and return it often.

11. Remind myself that honesty, hard work, and gained knowledge will always be the building blocks needed for success which requires 4 pillars. Strong Mind to store the knowledge, discard the nonsense. Strong Body to handle the long hours and physical demands be it hanging flyers, walking door to door to pitch the ECA program, or other activity a strong body feels good and keeps you healthy. True Heart, because being honest with yourself and sharing that honesty with everyone you meet makes you wealthy in spirit, worthy in respect, and dependable in tough situations. Faith , because believing in a higher power or believing in yourself all make the impossible into I'M POSSIBLE.

As much as you can without hurting yourself.

SFI is free to join but the fact is the more you invest of time and money the faster you will see a return on that investment. We have several affiliates who have found that secret and compounded it to build beautiful incomes.

Not only should one invest available pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, dollars etc.. they should take any earnings for the first 3 years and invest those as well because your investment will grow and you'll find the income will grow too. Never stop investing and don't stop growing the investment until you have met your financial goals. If you want to earn $5,000 a month keep investing like someone who wants $5,000 a month, heck invest like someone who wants $10,000 a month as well.

The secret is what you invest in.

The big thing with anything at SFI is TripleClicks sales. Not one penny is earned with no sales into the system so learning to promote products and groups of products people love is vital to your business. It is also the fastest path to profits and that means increasing your investment to sell even more next month.

Add in promotions to recruit ECA or E-commerce Associates to sell on TripleClicks. This stream of income is often last attacked because 10% doesn't sound like a big deal when you get 45% for PRM and PSA purchases, but it really is when 1 million plus affiliates are promoting these ECA and one ECA could make 200 sales a month while you refer only 5 sales a month and that 10% could be hundreds while your direct commissions are around $50 to $60.

Third thought is in growing your team.

This sounds funny as 90% of the affiliates you meet are doing the opposite but the fact is you need to learn to sell before you can teach PSA how to sell. You must learn to refer ECA before you can expect them to tap into this vast wealth builder. Once you can teach them invest 1/3 of your growing investment into acquiring PSA, whether you use PSA To Go or a ECA run co-op, or advertise on your own you will need a ton of referrals to find 5 active ones and help them learn and grow their teams as well.

As your investment grows in cash terms it can grow in time involved as well so learn to shave minutes and take a phone or tablet everywhere to work on your business when you have spare minutes. Doing laundry? Use the tablet or phone to work your business while clothes are washing and drying. On lunch break? Perfect time to check e-mails or post a quick classified ad. Invest the time it takes to reach $5,000 a month and it will happen regardless of the amount of money you can pour in.

Patience and time determine your success amplified by the size of your investment.

With S-Builder you get between 3 and 6 new PSA per share every month, starting about 30-45 days after the end of the month in which you ordered. It will provide you long term referrals to attempt to mentor and convert into working PSA and in the good months with a high per share return they can save you money over PSA to Go.

SFI Keycodes will track traffic and conversions for you and I advise using a spreadsheet such as excel or Open Office's Spreadsheet to keep track of what codes you used on what sites. You can even learn to set up data fields to compare different types of advertising such as Paid PPC, Paid Classifieds, Offline, and Online etc.

It's always helpful when using paid advertising to track your return on investment, and, likewise, you don't wish to waste time on free ads that aren't converting.

I would also recommend that if you have your own Wwebsite and use landing pages or splash pages to promote SFI that you invest in a good split testing software to get the highest conversion possible from that free and paid traffic, and I recommend use of a bulk e-mail software or autoresponder, such as Mail Chimp or Aweber to capture leads of people who would like more information and are not ready to join yet. Both the split test software and the autoresponder will have their own tracking data to make your business smarter.

The last thing is vital in this social media driven, modern marketing system and that is using tools such as Klout, and Empire Avenue to track social influence and highlight social interactions on your major network profiles and pages. Basic stats for social media are all an affiliate marketer really needs to be a success online with social media.

The last piece of the puzzle is for managing your human assets, friends, and prospects. If you really want to be data driven, you can research open source CRM or customer relationship manager software. This is like using a personal planner to track contacts, meeting notes, and other details that will help you convert prospects into customers. This works especially well if you are recruiting and training local ECAs or matching a local business with an ECA supplier for a wholesale supply or maybe even things like The Natural brand cleaners.

I love a great question that explores the moderate to advanced end of our business. These are not beginners' tools, but they are vital tools for those ready to take their business to the next level.

The amount of time it takes is directly in relation to the amount of personal sacrifice you make towards your success.

The more time you give will mean greater results faster. The person who works 1 hour a day on their business might take 4 years to see any serious income from SFI where the person putting in 4 hours a day may see results in 1-2 years that are substantial.

There is financial sacrifice as well.

If you don't invest the return could take many years to reach your goals, where doing something as simple as adujsting the thermostat 2 degrees to make your AC and Heat work less and save money for you to invest can shave years off the time to get to that same point.

Some of the best marketers I know started their business by investing money they didn't realize they had to make investments they didn't think were possible for them and I have shared these tips with hundreds of people over the past dozen years.

Ways to raise investment capital.

- Adujust thermostat 2 degrees warmer in summer, cooler in winter to save electricity.

- Purchase new or used solar panels for home and tie them into the system to not only save on electric but earn tax credits and get paid for any excess generation.

- Regular vehicle maintenance - Check tire inflation and make sure correct tire size for vehicle is used. Make sure oils, transmission, and other fluids are changed with new filters on schedule with manufacturer's recommendations. Run air conditioning and heater only when absolutely needed using windows for cooling where possible. These tips can save you hundreds of dollars a year in fuel consumption and tire replacement, major mechanical break down, and full coverage insurance cost if you have a policy that considers a regular maintenance program as a credit towards reducing your premiums.

- Commit to eating at leas 6 budget means a month. These are cheap meals to fix like rice and beans, hot dogs and macaroni and cheese, Ramen soups, spaghetti, chicken and dumplings, or salads grown in your garden. It could also be lunch meat sandwiches.

- Start a home garden. The more you grow the less you have to buy.

- Buy in bulk where possible. If you don't have a deep freeze consider it. Buying things like beef and pork by the case is always cheaper than smaller packages. Use reusable plastic containers for liquids, powders, and spices. Use Ziploc bags for meats and make sure to remove all air from around meats to avoid freezer burn.

- Swap out water heater and stove for Electric versions instead of gas and get energy star rated. Most power suppliers have rate reduction programs if you are all electric and have energy star compliance and it will cut out and extra bill with it's additional taxes and fees.

- Make sure seams around windows cable and phone inlets and outlets, and other places outside air may come in are caulked. Doors need weather stripping changed every 5 years and checked every winter and summer. No need to cool/warm the outside in summer/winter months.

- Cut out eating out where possible. Brown bag a lunch to work if you can. If not cooler is available at work get an ice chest or 12V cooler and keep in your car outside.

- If you live in a metropolitan areas where subways, trains, and buses offer you a cheaper alternative to driving your own car to work use them. If you can walk to the store or ride a bicycle to work do so.

- Put a brick in the toilet tank or replace it with a ultra high efficiency one to save water. Also take moderately temperate showers instead of baths and using hot water in excess to cut water consumption and cost of heating water. Turn off shower while you lather and scrub your body and hair. Use just enough water to get wet, get rinsed, and get out.

- Instead of using city recycling programs you can use purchased bins to collect Aluminum cans, tin cans, plastic bottles, or glass jars and bottles for a trip to the recycling center to turn them into extra cash.

I could sit here all day telling you ways to save money to put into your business so sacrifice a little comfort, a little time, and invest first in things that will save you money you can start investing in your business. That in turn could have you reach your income goals in as little as 6 months to 2 years.

People have a competitive nature and knowing your rival makes it personal. They need to see the clear goals and know that others are working to get to the finish line before them.

Step2: Support Them - Start a special advertising co-op that all who commit to taking the challenge get 1 share of. Known that you will be advertising to help them reach the goal will inspire team work and cause a ripple effect as they in turn mirror what you have done with their own referrals.

Step 3: Reward Them - For each level they reach in the challenge give them another share in the advertising co-op so they get even more help gaining the referrals needed to reach the next level. If they reach the ultimate goal reward them with a gift certificate, or t-credits, and 2 entries to start on the next quarterly challenge.

If they are referring EA2 you are making a minimum 1500VP each per month, BTL 3000VP each per month and so forth. You will also see your rank improve and with that the level of your downline could reach 12 levels deep as the challenge activities push you to becoming a Platinum or Diamond Team Leader. Sharing in the wealth will help you stay in that position and help your team do even better in their recruiting long term.
