How do I encourage my affiliates to get and stay active without coming across as selfish or as a dictator?

It seems to be a very nice question. I personally feel, you can encourage your affiliate by sharing something valuables through your "Stream ". You let them know. your achievements since you have joined this Amazing SFI ONLINE BUSINESSES in an interval of every three days which will lead you to get an Action Versa Point and also your affiliates will get inspired.

Other easy way to encourage them by sending Team E-mail to the whole groups giving them 100 percent assurance

You made me smile with your question. It painted this picture of you standing there like a Idi Amin, shaking your finger and with a strict face, telling your affiliates: You will work, you will build your business and you will make a success of it so I can make money. OR ELSE .....

Anybody working to build their business knows you have to be a little selfish. If your affiliates don't work you have to work that much harder to make money BUT on the other side, if you encourage them

You are the team leader and therefore your responsibility to guide them in the right direction. One thing to bear in mind is that once they became affiliates, the business is now their business. They are solely responsible for the success or otherwise of that business. That means, they're responsible to turn up everyday for work. You'll not do that for them. I like your question because it puts the affiliate first, although to my mind, this question practically answers itself: Put yourself at your affiliates' service, learning about them by asking them about their lives, what brings them into SFI, and then showing them exactly how to achieve their personal goals. You simply let them *learn* what to do from you rather than attempting to force them to follow, and instead, you can be seen as caring and nurturing rather than as a dictator.

One good way that I would suggest is to inform them of their best opportunities for income.
That way You will get their attention , and You can be a mentor to them in their progress.
Two ideas that You can promote among Your affiliates are the member listing opportunity,
and the 125TCredit Standing Order opportunity that You can teach as a promotion method for
Prospecting new affiliates.

I think half of the question has been answered within the question itself.It's this way.To produce the impact of being "selfish" and"dictator" is a dead blow on an affiliate's business and also not good for SFI. It's to be recognized that SFI is made successful with determination,patience,interest,and perseverance.In the same way you can teach your affiliates that sfi is of course a quick enriching process but this could not be happened all at once. It's simple, just offer helps to your downline. As a leader you are supposed to know better than your team, so you may act as a friend and mentor to them.

Your main goals are make them succeed doing their SFI business. Doing that, the most important thing is make yourself as a model for them. Do first by yourself anything worthy to be done in this business.

And one important thing to remember is do your business as fun as possible - avoid pressure - but waking up enthusiasm.

Remember, Many affiliates join SFI and have a look before deciding SFI isn't for them.

You just have to think of what made you active when you first joined SFI? and what has kept you going all this time?
Its just explaining what you think the benefits of SFI are and how they can help the new PSA's.

A lot of new sign ups may be overwhelmed by all the information they are receiving from the SFI welcome committee so just help them understand the key points and remind them

I would encourage them to do their daily, weekly, monthly, and invest in their TripleClicks store. I would suggest to them that SFI is their business. You are their sponsor not their boss. We are a SFI team aiming for success. You should tell them about the easy way to maintain the rank of an EA such as making an SO that will give them 1500 versapoints. I would suggest to them to participate in the Zebra games and they could win versapoints,T credits, member reward points and more. This SFI business
