You very likely ARE an awesome sponsor to those who blocked your emails. All they did was block your emails, right? They didn't opt out.

You were already a good sponsor to them, initially equipping them with what they needed to know to start making the best of their SFI business. Busy people don't have the time to read what they already know - to read what they already learned from you.

If they haven't actually opted out, you could even be pleased that they blocked your emails. They're carrying on, on their own. You did a good job to teach them how.

If you feel it's urgent that they know something new, do a stream post.

If you can see in their VP Ledgers that they are NOT active, perhaps they plan to be in the future, and until such time that they do become active, they may not want emails reminding them that they're trying to get there. Reading those emails will slow them up from doing whatever else it is they need to get done before they can give their full attention to SFI, like they may want to.

Don't worry about them. They know what they want, even if it isn't (yet) the same thing you want.

Ask questions in your emails. If you get no response, try a few more times, but don't send email after email trying to get those affiliates to be active. Once or twice a week is fine, maybe three times a week. If you were sending emails to me more than that, all the time, and I either didn't yet have the time to fully commit to SFI or I was doing quite okay on my own, I'd probably block your emails too.

Part of being an awesome sponsor could very well include learning to know when to give your affiliates a little space to breathe.

I noticed that you said "many" affiliates are blocking your emails. This makes a difference because there could be a trend here with the way you communicate. How often are you sending out emails? What is the content of the emails you send? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but if there are many affiliates blocking you, my first reaction would be to evaluate your communication habits.

If an affiliate blocks your email and does not give a reason for this decision, there are options available, but proceed with caution. As long as they have not opted out of SFI, you can still try to reach them through the chat function or team mails. If they have a phone number listed, you could try to call them but that might work against you if the affiliate wants to be left alone.

The bottom line is this. Proceed with caution if there is no reason given for being blocked. If there is a reason, learn from it and do whatever it takes to correct the situation. Above all else, don't panic because you can still be an awesome sponsor with the other affiliates who want to hear from you.

I must admit to being quite alarmed after reading many of the replies so far.
The Affiliate has taken an active step to block you.... Not just deleting emails, or leaving them unread, ... but taken positive action to stop receiving information from you.

What part of that "go away" message are people reading as "try telephoning instead" or "contact through social media" get me on "instant messenger" or even "try another email address"
The affiliate has made his feelings clear... respect them.

Now the worrying part of the question is the comment that MANY affiliates have blocked you.
If that is correct (And it is worth checking that you are blocked rather than just being unread)
then you should look carefully at both the message you are sending, and possibly the frequency of that message.
When somebody first joins, it is probably ok/good to send 2 or 3 emails in that first week, but thereafter, anything much more than weekly will be too much for those affiliates who have not taken any action. Those who have replied to you,or asked questions are of course in a different category.
You have been with SFI for quite a while now, have a look at some of the suggested emails and compare them to the message you are sending, If in doubt keep your emails simple and ask questions about where you can help, rather than telling them what to do.

Sorry if this seams brutal..It is not meant to be offensive. You have lost the people who have blocked you. respect their decisions, and try to ensure that your future emails are of a quality and frequency that are welcomed rather than being endured.

Do you know for sure your emails are being blocked?
Or, is it a case of the Affiliates are not responding to your emails?

Frankly, only 1 or 2% of our Affiliates (worldwide) bother to reply to sponsors' or co-sponsors messages - so you must not be discouraged.

As Gery Carsons tells us in his RULES OF SUCCESS.
Work with the workers.

Don't worry about those who do not respond, and rather find some that want to work with you.

Always look forward to the next batch of Affiliates, and keep positive.

If your affiliates are anything like I was, they probably signed up on various online sites trying to make some money.

The trouble is that many of the sites out there bombard you with emails and you find that where you may have registered on two or three sites, you suddenly have hundreds of mails coming in. Some of them won't even let you unsubscribe. When you try, you keep getting error messages until you can't be bothered.

I speak from personal experience and have, on several occasions, spent a few hours just unsubscribing from every list.

This may unfortunately be the case with your affiliates. Some of them may not have even bothered to look at your emails and may be deleting them as they come in.

Keep in mind, we all have problems with affiliates who signed up and then decided not to pursue it because they were looking for a "quick cash" solution.

If they are in your country / area call them up, or sms them. If they respond, ask them what it was they didn't like, ask them in a friendly and polite manner. People always like being asked questions and most don't mind if you don't take up a minute or so of their time.

You are already an awesome sponsor for giving it your best shot. Remember that this business is not for everyone. The affiliates who block your emails may feel overwhelmed by too much information or perhaps they are just not interested in what you have to say. At least not yet…

However, if these affiliates haven't opted out of the program, they will still receive messages from SFI and TripleClicks, so all is not lost. Perhaps in time they will want to give this program a second chance and you will be there, ready to be an awesome sponsor for them.

Meanwhile, work with the workers and continue to learn more about this business so that you can be an even better sponsor to your present and future affiliates.

Your only option would be e-cards and other SFI connections to reach them... stream etc.

I would suggest to keep sending weekly PSA mails, keep your stream posts current, keep your advertising fresh and current, especially if you use sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.

Hopefully, they may eventually stumble across an ad of yours that will entice them back to SFI, and they will contact you.

Otherwise, remember that some will, some won't, and keep recruiting new PSAs/PRMs. Buy PSAs through S-Builder, PSAs to Go, auctions, Bid & Build (from auction bids). You keep recruiting, you will eventually have your active team to sponsor!!:))...

SFI provides a number of ways in which the sponsor can contact his or her affiliates. Here are a few examples:

1. PSA, CSA Mailer
2. Genealogy
3. E-cards
4. Live Chat
5. E-mail
6. Forum
7. In some cases phone numbers are also available

As you can see, contact through E-mail is one of them. It is true that in some cases the affiliate’s E-mail is blocked. In this case, try and use the other options of communication. However, if you are still not getting any feedback from the affiliate it is possible that he or she is not committed at all or does not want correspondence through E-mail.
To be an awesome sponsor always follow the “Rules of Success” and do not waste much time on people who are sceptical. Avoid majoring in the minors, keeping in mind that it is not the quantity but rather the quality of affiliates that you are after. However, to get the quality you will need to advertise and the more affiliates that sign up the higher the chances of finding the few committed ones. As you may already be aware, this guideline is helpful in being an awesome sponsor:

1. Attain at least EA or higher rank
2. Recruit 5 active PSAs to the level of EA2
3. Duplicate your ideas to the team

If your active PSAs also duplicate their actions then your team is on the right path.
Utilise SFI resources or tools of communication to pass on your ideas and lead by example.

Thank you for this question. Until I read in the forum about problems with blocked e-mails, I didn't realize that there is a place to go to see why we were blocked. Until you find out why you were blocked, you are at a stand still because you cannot fix a problem until you know what your problem is! There might not be a problem with your e-mails but with your team members. If you are blocked, it throws a large roadblock in your quest to be a good sponsor. You can try to chat with them but your best solution may be to pass them on to another team member.

You can read here the reasons given for blocking you. Be prepared to learn and to make changes if necessary but remember that you can't please everyone. Also remember that a mistake is only a failure if you do not learn from it.
