Simply put - be an awesome sponsor to the rest of them.

Having said that - why did they block you?

I have 142 affiliates, the majority inactive and only one of them opt out. A few of them have confirmed bad e-mails but as far as I know - the rest of them still receive my messages.

How many e-mails are you sending in a week? I send one a week to my entire team. With new affiliates I send more to instruct them and help them on their way. Any other e-mails I exchange with my affiliates are in answer to their e-mails. That would usually be my movers.

What is the tone of your mails? - positive, upbeat and enthusiastic or negative,whining and moaning?

What is the quality and value of your mails? Does it have structure and valuable information?

Now, please - I am not saying you flooded your affiliates with an avalanche of useless boring newsletters or mails - but it would be a sure way to get blocked. So if you did that - STOP, if you did not - do not start now.

Lastly - resist showing dissapointment, resentment or any kind of threatning mails. Make it informative, interesting and a pleasure to read. We do not have to warn them about not logging in or not qualifying. SFI is fortunately doing that for us.

Do not be discouraged - work with what you have and let go of things you can not change.

To be an awesome sponsor in this situation is not to give up.
Secondly is to identify what caused the blockage to avoid the same mistake next time. What is it what you said? Where you going out of boundary? Irrelevant or overloading information? You need to identify it.
Thirdly, since your team mail has been blocked, you can reach out to them via their personal email address at their affiliate snapshot or through their phones or SFI Chat room when online or on the social networks.
Fourthly is to ask what pushed off, apologise and ask for a second chance. Everybody deserves a second chance.
The true test of a leader is to say sorry to his/her team when he is in the wrong.
Lastly, never give up on them. Reach out once more through the above and win your team back to yourself. It is what awesome sponsor does. Do these and you'll be one

Well, if many of your affiliates have blocked your emails from not reaching them, i guess it is a sign to show you that they are not getting what they want at the right time.

This is where SFI makes the (#1) BEST mark when it comes to affiliate marketing internet business. let me highlight some for you below;

1. Login into your SFI account and open the Genealogy and permit to load, you will find

a) Send an e-mail to PSAs
b) Send TeamMail to PSAs
c) Send an e-mail to CSAs
d) Send TeamMail to CSAs

2. make your choice above and they will receive it in there private e-mail box and that is conditional "if they are still in SFI as affiliates".

Hi David,

I recommend using the Team Mail to reach out to your team as well as the e-cards. Also keep posting on your stream and in the forums. Make yourself visible so when they log in they can find you when they want or need you. Chat is also a great way to communicate.

Another thing I recommend is looking at the VP ledger for those who are active. See what they are clicking on and where they focus their attention. Offer tips if you see opportunities for them to gain extra VP or learning opportunities.

I know it can be a challenge but keep brainstorming ways to keep yourself available and those who are interested and see value will appreciate that you are available for them.

You can try other means of supporting them.

You can use the Team mail which goes directly into affiliates SFI inbox and email inbox to share with them useful information for growth of their SFI business.

Sometimes emails do not reach the affiliates email inbox because the email might be classified as spam and the affiliates may not have properly whitelisted your email.

When sending your email, first check if it is spam free using Email Spam Checkers to determine your messages deliverability success.

First, I would try and figure out why your affiliates have blocked your emails. There could be a couple of reasons.

Maybe they don't want to be receiving emails from SFI.
Possibly, they don't like the amount of emails they are receiving from you or maybe the tone.

So, definitely dig into the reasons Why?

Secondly, you still have the team mail that can be used. Maybe, use the team mail to ask the question.

If you don't receive any kind of feedback, the being an awesome sponsor is not going to happen. You will need to concentrate on updating your leadership page and providing guidance in that way.

How can it happened? Some of you affiliates blocked your emails?

Let me tell you how I correspondence with my downline!
They have my affiliate greeting to welcome new PSA!
For the beginning, I send e-card to welcome and thank affiliate for the reason he decided to work with me, introduce myself as his sponsor and give him all my addresses where he can contact me, anytime he needs me!
If a new affiliate complete first tasks, I remind him what to do next and, also,that I'm on line if I'll be needed.
Than, I check the affiliate's VP Leader and encourage him and thank for a good work.
That is the moment I stop and I wait affiliate to contact me.
And they always do, with the question: what to do next?
After my answer, correlation is established, confidence in the sponsor as well and opportunity of team work is possible for a long time.

It's important, for a good sponsor, to be available for affiliates, to be on line, to congratulate affiliates statuses, but not too much bossy and pushy.
It's not much to email your affiliates once or twice weekly.
Awesome sponsor have to be kind, patience, to know all answers and mostly, prepared to immediate answers.

You can still contact them via sending team mails.

You might try using the SFI chat feature if they are online and talk with them that way.

If they also have blocked your team mails I am not sure there is anything you can do.

Maybe you just need to consider those affiliates lost to you.

You could try reassigning them to someone in your downline. Perhaps that person may be able to communicate with these people better.

If its something in your approach to them that is turning them off perhaps you need to change your approach.

Not knowing the actual situation of what is happening I am not sure exactly how to answer your question. However I hope these ideas may have helped you somehow.

Your affiliate blocking you is sad. If they block you and opt- out of SFI, they are lost to you. But if they block you and still remain in SFI ( you will know this from your Genealogy page), there is still hope to communicate.

Keep sending your team mail to them. The mail will not be delivered to their email box but will still be delivered to their email inbox in SFI. Another way of reaching out to the affiliates that blocked you, if they are not opt-out, is the use of instant message tool on your homepage. It is located at top right corner of your page, above the thump up picture above your profile picture. This tool is powerful to send messages to them. It is a chatting tool. Again, make good and concise messages to them.

Good day David,

From what you said, there might be certain reasons as to why the affiliates in your team blocked your emails. Some could be due to some reasons stated below.
1. Probably you have sent them dozens of mails within the week and they feel that the mails clogging their mail boxe as such, must have blocked your email from coming.
2. Another reason might be due to the fact that they want to figure things out on their own and don't require assistant.
3. Some might be due to Language Barrier.
4. Another thing could be the tone of the mail you sent to your downline. Was it too harsh?
5. Another coukd be ambiguity.
6. Avoid breathing down the affiliate to have a Standing Order as this may make them angry and think that you are only communicating with them just to invest.

To be an awesome sponsor, we would need to:-
1. Send our mail in simple and clear English for our affiliates to easily understand.
2. In cases of language barier we can use translators to translate to the affiliates perferred language.
3. Limit sending mails almost on a daily basis but try sending mails at least twice a week.
4. Read mails you send or get someone to assist you proof read to sence statement that might seem harsh, rude or sarcastic
5. Respond to emails from your PSAs as at when due for them not to fizzle out or feel that joining was a wrong decision.
6. Streamline your mails to affiliates that need assistance and not sending a general message to the individual.
7.Lead by example and do the right thing. For instance, your Leadership page would display your badges and achievement with that, it would motivate your affilaites to do more for their business.
8. Also, when sending them weekly team mail, inform them of the team contest you are currently running, tips to share on your Leadership page as well as items on tripleclicks you can recommend for them to purchase.
9. Remember to work with the workers and that can be done via looking at our movers list on our SFI homepage.

In summary, to be an awesome sponsor, lead by example, recruit 5 active affiliates and let them duplicate your actions and the sky will be the limit for you and your team.
