When your downline tries to duplicate you, it means you are becoming an effective leader to them. But the behind the scene of how you become a good leader is a tremendous task your newbies affiliates may not be aware of at first hand.

To be able to demonstrate leading by example to your PSAs and CSAs, you must possess first the qualities of being a good leader or an awesome sponsor. And to be able to determine if you do have those qualities, you should be able to answer these questions:

1. Do you subscribe to your monthly Standing Order (SO)?
2. Do you maintain your EA or TL status monthly?
3. Do you have a significant improvement of rank by class and country level?
4. Do you regularly send letters of encouragement and or send tips to your team to make their tasks in SFI handy?
5. Did you put up a co-op for your team?
6. Do you subscribe to EZ games and PB auctions so that they may see your TC badges triumphantly displayed?
7. Do you join the ASK SC Forum so that your team may see you being active not only on the generation of income but on the exchange of bright ideas?
8. Are you a top enroller so that it can give awareness to your team the importance of daily logging in at their homepage?
9. Do you teach your team the importance of ECA and other business opportunities to enhance their income generation?

By having performed the above qualities of a good, if not awesome leader, there’s no argument that as their sponsor, you are leading by example. It would be impossible to fake these hard earned achievements because it will show in your list of badges. These badges are clear testimonies of who you are in SFI, and eventually be instilled into the minds of your team mates that the only option is for them to duplicate what you have accomplished.

As a Sponsor, you need to keep in mind the idea that SFI is my second Business. With this principle in place, you would normally give your business your time, money, and efforts to accomplish your goals. It really helps your PSAs and CSAs when you tell them that your SFI is your second business that you have to work on and invest your resources to gain sure income in the future.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your Business or SFI Account is in the best status for your PSAs and CSAs to see your accomplishments and become inspired to follow you and thus you see the magic of Duplication will benefit you and your Affiliates.

Your SFI Badges displayed on the left side of your SFI Affiliate Center is very important to the eyes of your Affiliates or followers you can say because everytime they get inspired by it and want to duplicate themselves to your achievements.

From my experience, do not hesitate to make your move to the next level like Setting up a Standing Order because this really helps you to go up the next level with SFI. Then, your excellent records will be shown on your Badges for your Affiliates to see.

Make sure you reach the Bronze Team Leader status at least because being a Team Leader in SFI is a beautiful thing! believe me. Know that when you reach your next level status, your SFI Sponsor and the SFI System will help you. You only need to make the decision to go for it.

When you have establish your excellent position or status then you have demonstrated your character to your Affiliates and they will follow you for sure.

Make sure that you have done all you can to obtain the highest ranking and give them your the best recommendations, recognition and motivation by rewards. After all you cannot ask them to do something you were not willing to do.

It is like saying ''If you want all these badges and benefits then follow my advice'' or ''if I could do it, so could you''.

Besides this first impression you can use the steam function on your affiliate page to continuously keep them updates on your latest achievements and how you did it .

Remember this . It's all about duplication like on the Xerox Machine. If the original ( you ) is of good quality then the copies will be of good quality. :)

People in general and your team members in specific will love to follow your actions once you create trust in them. If this is to happen the responsibility remains with you as their leader that you should walk your talk.

It means what you speak you must demonstrate which should be visible to your team members.

SFI provides equal opportunities to every one to grow and succeed. Your Team members always will look at your performance which are reflected in your badges. They speak volumes of your achievements.

For example, if you keep winning in EZ Games regularly, your badges will show them. It gives you strength to ask your team members to participate in Games. Same way, if you have SO Badge, you will be in a better position to speak about significance of having an SO.

On the other hand, if you do not take part in EZ Games or do not have an SO, you will find yourself in a very weak situation to talk about them or discuss about them with your Team Members. People love to follow a person who says something and lives by what he says and keep his actions transparent so that any one in his team can follow and succeed.

Conclusion:

In short, say what you want and do what you say and keep your actions visible for your Team Members so that they will know by following certain path or steps you have succeeded. That will give them the much needed impetus to work their own way and grow. Your actions and only actions count for your team members. Your PSAs and CSAs look up to you as a sponsor and they always ask questions with that in mind. That is why in SFI, you must “walk your talk” all the time. It is easier to answer questions about what you know and do routinely than what you do not do. Since you can never tell what questions your PSAs and CSAs can ask you at the anytime, be fully prepared by doing all that SFI recommends that its affiliates should routinely do. Specifically you should:

1. Log in to your SFI website daily and perform the “to-do” tasks to earn VersaPoints.
2. Work to reach at least the rank of EA2 every month.
3. Communicate very regularly with your downline.
4. Join and participate in the forums.
5. Read SFI news and other lessons.
6. Accept SFI regular tips and use them in your business.
7. Play the Trivia Games to have fun.
8. Participate in the Auctions.
9. Promote SFI Gateways intensely and widely.
10. Help to sell products on TripleClicks to earn commissions.
11. Become an ECA yourself if you have products to sell.
12. Recognize and help mark the anniversaries and achievements of your affiliates.
13. Encourage them to ask you questions and endeavor to provide answers and references which can help them.

By doing the foregoing, you will be sufficiently confident to answer questions from your PSAs and CSAs and to request them to do as you do. That is how best you can lead by example and to demonstrate it to them.

To demonstrate this, Firstly, we need to apply it ourself.

1) Activity;
Log in daily and complete our Red Tab to claim on Versapoints activity
(a Streak Badge can be seen to all our team as a good action example)

2) Communication;
Get active in Communicating, sharing ideas and strategy, either with team members via team mail, Stream or Forum family.
(communicating and chat directly proves we care and thus build a strong trust relationship example)

3) Participation;
Take part in auctions or games to raise more additional Versapoints and Income commissions activity

Leading by example is the best way to keep your team motivated. Beginning with your SFI badges, you can show your team that it is possible to be successful here. Your badges show how active you are which sends the message that anything worth gaining requires a consistent effort. Don't overwork yourself when trying to gain badges but keep in mind that the more badges you have, the more impressive your profile can be.

Another area in leadership is communication. Send out regular communications with a variety of support so everybody benefits. Along with that, try to recognize those who show up on your movers list by thanking them for being an active part of the team. This will help your team see that you care enough about their success to recognize them when they do well.

On the other side of communication, you should send out an E-Card to those who used to be active but somehow fell off the radar. Let them know that you miss them and they might respond well by becoming active again.

2. By informing them to participate in SFI activities such as logging on to their SFI homepage everyday as much as possible, read the information contained therein and clicking the red tabs to earn VersaPoints;

3. By encouraging them to join and participate in the forum by way of asking questions, answering questions and read valuable information;

A leader must walk the talk!

Well, though PSAs or CSAs do not necessarily entirely depend on their sponsor to succeed, the team leader has nothing to lose but all to gain by building a strong team.
It is natural and proven that most people are likely to learn more from what they see you doing. In other words you cannot insist on your affiliates performing tasks which you have not done.

The goal of SFI leadership is “Duplication” and so when you become EA or higher let your PSAs or CSAs know what you have gone through to achieve your success. Having said so, one should also appreciate that the affiliates in the team have varying capacities and therefore there will always be cases where your PSA or CSA cannot duplicate one of your accomplishments due to financial constraints. In that case the leader should motivate the affiliate not to give up but continue making progress until they reach the same level. It is not wise to be too demanding of an affiliate who cannot achieve a certain goal due to other limitations. This is where the leaders often share stories about their own setbacks en route to success.

It is true that one can have thousands of PSAs or CSAs but if they are not following, the leader is not leading but only taking a walk.
In summary, I would say with all factors considered, duplication is the best demonstration of leadership one can give to either the PSAs or CSAs.

Leading by example simply means showing them how to do it since if you want to teach someone how to fish you must take him to the river and show him how it is done.

For my team, I do tell them that " happiness depends not upon things around me, but on my attitude. Everything in life will depend on my attitude."

I show them what make this business worth it, where I started from, where I am and where am going through my leadership page.

I tell them to take time off to study the many awesome leadership and marketing materials here at SFI and to try as much not to miss anyday in this wonderful business of theirs.

I try as much to tell them to invest in their SFI business if they want to get to their goals early enough.

But sadly, many never reply and many still want someone who'll keep on logging in and do the business for which they'll get paid for them.
This is what I've seen under this heaven.
