Hi Erica, leadership is all about demonstrating to your followers what you want them to do.
This means you must be a practitioner of whatever you are leading them to do.
In SFI these things include but not limited to the following:

1. See your team members as colleagues and not your sub-ordinate, therefore don't be too pushy on what you want them to do.
2. Carefully select your words to be in form of advice rather than criticizing.
3. Use inclusive words like "we", "our", "all of us" etc. in your email.
4. Appreciate your affiliates' contribution before mentioning what he or she should improve upon (if any).
5. Always share your past experiences in related or similar situation and how you survived it.
6. If using email; let your mail content be formal instead of informal.
7. Ensure you have done what you want your PSAs and/or CSAs to do.
8. Hash words should NEVER proceed from your mouth to your team members at any time.
9. Let them know you are willing to help them achieve success as your team members.
10 .Ensure your leadership page and blog are up-to-date;direct them to your blog and Leadership page in every correspondence.

The question is very easy and simple.."How to demonstrate to my PSAs/CSAs the fact?
Simply lead by example! Why? 'cause Example is better than Precept.

I am not telling my PSAs and CSAs so far about the achievements I made, except when the things arise conceptually when I am dealing on a subject. The SFI has done one thing excellently,i.e., exhibiting our badges in the Home Page/ Affiliate Page! Perhaps the authorities are not convinced with that and perhaps they want it in a more pronounced/self explanatory way. Therefore reiterating the Rules of Success Rule 3--LEAD BY EXAMPLE, again they took all the badges in the first instance to "Joining my Gateway" and next to "Leadership page". We need not have to take pains specially to say what all we have achieved and within what time-frame. Everything is self explanatory. So, what is heretofore implicit is now explicit.

There is no scope for me (or for that matter any Sponsor/Co-Sponsor) to say about the things wat they have not achieved or accomplished. Never was there so much of a transparency at all levels and for all the Affiliates to see what is what and where is what.

But, one thing is missing in the badges about 'Lead By example' and that is our experiences and escapedes; our troubles & tribulations for achieving them. I therefore intend to take up a few badges each time in a weekly mail and explain about them to the Downlines in detail, along with the ADVANTAGES to the downlines, so that they will appreciate what are facts& figures about the achievements and assess for themselves how to chalk out a time-bound program to achieve the various mile stones in the SFI for getting on to the top of 'The Ladder of Success'

I just sent this email to all of my affiliates to give them the information of what I do EXACTLY EVERYDAY.
I hope this helps answer your question and give you some ideas.

Here it is:

I want to point out that it is very important to LOG IN EVERYDAY,
HERE IS A DETAILED INSTRUCTION LIST OF WHAT I DO EVERY DAY!
Log in, go to the HOME tab, click on ALERTS, read and scroll to the bottom, click the BAR that you have reviewed the page, then go across to the next tab, TO DO LIST, I always scroll down, click on the TRIPLECLICKS LINK, when I get there, I click on GAMES, then scroll down to the T-TIME DRAWING, Click on the featured product! wait for the 20 second timer, then enter to win 2 T-Credits. (I enter every hour when possible until I win. You can only win once per day)
Then I click on the GAMES Tab again, I enter the CARDKING game, play free twice. I always enter the Sidekicks contest; the free one and the one that cost 1T-Credit to play which is 4x the points by guessing what color the next card will be, I always pick Red :-). Why do I do that you might be wondering.... If you have the same card come up in a row, you get to play the bonus round. In the bonus round you can win game points, T-Credits, and even CSA's!!! If you don't spend at least 1T-Credit in the game then you do not get to play the bonus round. I have won T-Credits, game points and CSA's! You will also earn VersaPoints for playing since you spent 1T-Credit.
Next, I click on AUCTIONS, I go look for an auction with Double MRP, because I will get 1 Daily VersaPoint for bidding. I make the most of it by choosing the DOUBLE MRP auction. IF there isn't one available, I keep checking until there is one, as long as I can. If I am not going to be able to keep checking then I go ahead and bid on any product to get a Daily VersaPoint.
If there is an auction that has a product that I want, I look for NBA to be listed on the auction, which means NO BID ASSIST. Why? It's very hard to win an auction if someone is using the bid assist feature. It's a waste of a T-Credit to compete unless you have a lot of them to use. My advice, if you want a product in an auction that is using that feature, WAIT THEM OUT. When they stop using the auto bidder, then place your bid. Also, don't waste a bid if several people are in a bidding war. WAIT until they run out of steam before joining the auction. Of course, if you want to be THE MOST AGGRESSIVE BIDDER, then go for it :-).
While I'm talking about DOUBLE MRP (Double Member Reward Points); You will want to accumulate as many as possible. They can be used payment for TripleClick purchases. You can also trade them in at the REWARDS TAB. There are several products that you can get. I have used mine several times to get Silver Bars.
Note: if you plan to trade them for Silver Bars, do it on the REWARDS TAB, because it's cheaper there than it is under the PRODUCT TAB.
Ok, back to what I do everyday;
After entering the T-Time drawing, playing CARDKING, and bidding on a DOUBLE MRP auction, I go back to my SFI TO DO LIST, scroll down. Check the weekly actions. I review my T-Connect page, then I go back to the SFI TO DO LIST. I check on how many stream posts that I've made for the week. If I haven't done 3 for the week then I need to make a post when I get to the stream. I don't go right then, I scroll down, reviewing as I go. (I usually do the Group Mailing towards the end of the week), Then Click the bar at the bottom that I've reviewed the page to receive my Daily VersaPoint for that page.
Next;
TIPS tab: I click on the TIPS Tab; read, review, scroll to bottom and click the BLUE BAR that acknowledges that you've reviewed the page. Earn 1 VersaPoint.
STREAM tab: click on the STREAM tab, submit a post for your downline if needed. Then scroll down while reading the latest posts until reaching the bottom, then click the BLUE BAR.
TC tab: click, read, scroll to bottom, then click BLUE BAR.
ECA tab: click, read, review, to receive the daily VersaPoint, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on the featured ECA. I look at their products, decide if I want to connect or promote any of their products. If I do, then I share it on Twitter and Facebook.
Then I go back to the SFI page and click: ( note, you will get redirected a lot to the Tripleclicks page, just go back to your SFI page and continue....)
EZ tab: click, review, play a game, if you can, spend 1 T-Credit on a game if you haven't already. To get your daily VersaPoint, you have to spend 1 T-Credit on a game. Don't forget to enter the T-Credit Drawing every hour until you win :-). If you win 2 per day, then you can use them to get your 2 Versapoints to play a game and bid on an auction:-)
PB tab: this will show you a list of current auctions. To get your VersaPoint, you have to bid on one auction per day. Of course you can bid on as many auctions as you want :-). If you have done what I suggested earlier, then you would have already gotten your VersaPoints for the EZ tab and the PB tab. That is why I do it all in the beginning after I click on the TRIPLECLICK LINK on the TO DO LIST.
SCOREBOARD tab: click, read, review, see how many points you need to reach your goal. Scroll down, click BLUE BAR. Receive a VersaPoint.
MOVERS tab: this is where you can see what your downline members are doing. You can click on their name, send then an E-Card if desired of click on one of the icons by their name to send an email. Scroll to bottom, click BLUE BAR, receive you VersaPoint.
GROWTH tab: read, congratulate newest member achievements, scroll to bottom, click BLUE BAR, receive 1 VersaPoint.
GOALS tab: see what you have accomplished so far, scroll down, write your goal in the box, click BLUE BAR. receive 1 VersaPoint.
ASKSC tab: I scroll to the bottom, click the bar to rate answers. I rate 10+ answers, good or bad. Then click at bottom on the link to go to the Daily Grand Drawing. Earn 1 VersaPoint.
WIN IT tab: click, scroll, enter drawing. Earn 1 VersaPoint.
FORUM tab: click, scroll to a topic of interest, select it by clicking on it, read, (participate in the discussion if desired) wait 20 seconds until a green box appears in the top right corner, that says you have earned your VersaPoint.
At this point, you can go back and review anything of interest, or participate in the forum. I go to my email link at the top right of the page. If I have new PSAS, then I go to each ones link, review their progress, send them a Welcome letter. Write your own or click on the link to find one that you like. Copy and paste it in the welcome box, click at the bottom to send the email. Paste it, click send. Then click that you sent it. Here you can also check various things, there is a check list that you can use, and a note section where you can enter your communications or thoughts, etc...
Ok, that's more than enough for you guys today :-).
I do all of this everyday. I'm very systematic with it, same way everyday until all my tasks are done. It may look like all this takes a lot of time but it doesn't. 10 -15 minutes or less, it depends on how involved you get. I work through all the tasks, get all the VersaPoints possible then I go back and do other things. What? Review the Geneology report, commission report, etc... Or I go find products that I like and promote them.
I also promote my SFI web pages in various places, free classifieds, Traffic Exchanges, Twitter, Linked-In, etc...

Good question Erica,

From my point of view you just have to do the actions you hope your downline affiliates do.

So, purchase a standing order (it's fundamental), earn VP purchasing or selling goods,
bid to auctions, do daily/weekly/monthly actions, play with EZ games, build a downline,
earn the most VP you can every month, confirm your qualification (or better) every month.
(There are many other actions to do to be by example ECA actions, reviewing your
purchases and so on).

These actions with the time will give you a lot of badges and they can be viewed by your downline
simply clicking on Support option of the black bar and then your Upline and clicking on your name.
Or linking https://www.sfimg.com/AffiliateSnapshot?sfiid=yourIDnumber (In every case they must be
logged in).

You cannot guide and support your affiliates if you did not the actions you hope they do.

Lead the team in SFI means to be a good leader. Means to be a leader that his examples is Tim. The leader of the first works to show Tim that need and how to work. Read and learn constantly, to the knowledge passed on to the member or sent to a place where this knowledge can be learned. New members of a good leader is monitored from the beginning. Subscribe way of his work, notes its difficulties and mistakes and always comes to the rescue when needed. In this way, PSA or CSA know that they are not alone, and learn that it is teamwork, which always have someone to direct them in the right way. Since the beginning of the team leader is a role model to their members and associates:

First regularly in his office SFI online and cheap date daily and weekly tasks,

The second is active in classrooms where teamwork helps new and different ways to motivate all the other associates in your downline,

3 gives a first and thus indirectly suggests that the other members do the same and create these ..
4. find ways to communicate with their members (if a member of the passive communication that does not mean I do not want to do, a good leader finds the right way to communicate with this article, learn how to do it and teach it to the end to little more active communication with other associates.
5. Always follow the successes and downs of its members and to adequately praise or motivates them to move on (in a good leader does not have the place-motivation)

Every day, review what your PSA does and how it works. When on line ask him, "How are you today" , relaxed talk, create a pleasant working atmosphere and slowly you work step by step to the article.

Make sure that users understand why their work is important because it will draw from them the very best. Be positive all the time because enthusiasm is contagious.

People do not trigger criticism but praise the virtues of a good leader. One of the most famous motivator Tom Hopkins says it best: "Keep your eyes open to observe every good thing that your employee made, and then to praise it!".

If you are a leader, it means that you have more experience in a particular area and that you are there to give advice, but do not share steadily advice but allow members to come up with something yourself and bring business to the end, otherwise it will be dependent on you.

This is an excellent question, because if you have conscience of the importance to work hard, you can grow up with your team.

If you want to build your SFI business, you need to be a very active affiliate. You should experiment with most of the tools that SFI offers, and then you lead by example.

When you have the privilege to train to other people, you have to be responsible of every advice of that you guide, then you can not talk about what is not known.

“Formal education complements us, but self-education makes us prosperous”.

Most of us have had a formation to be good employees.

SFI gives us the ability to build our business by directing people to become part of our team.

You have on hand a powerful work tool, yet unknown to many people.

“Leaders are readers”.

You really will have achieved success together with your team, the moment when you can see that most of them grow without relying on you.

To demonstrate that you are doing everything that you are asking of your PSA's and CSA's is pretty easy to show. SFI has the badges of all of the accomplishments that we have achieved while building our business. These show all of our activity, for the most part, since the day we have started.

If you are suggesting to your team to set up a SO, they may take a look at your profile and they will see a badge for a SO that you have set up for yourself along with the VP that you receive for it. This will let your team member know that you are following the same direction that you are giving them.

To "lead by example," you just have to follow these steps:

1) Explain what you're doing and why you're doing it,
2) Do what you just said you were going to do,
3) After you do these things, you report the results, and
4) Repeat the process.

If you continue informing your team using your leadership blog, your Stream posts, and your Genealogy tool throughout, you will be constantly providing them examples through your actions. It's really that simple.
