The one single challenge facing affiliates is the difficulty to build a team of active and productive members.

Each one of us can list a page full of problems facing affiliates: lack of money to invest, lack of confidence in the business, lack of proper knowledge, lack of technical skills, lack of familiarity with the internet, fear of the social media and the risks they entail, etc. We can go on and on, indefinitely. But, all these issues would be overcome, if the affiliate is successful in building a team of PSAs, ECAs and PRMs who are also able to duplicate those same results.

Further, regardless of any sense of ease a member may have, if they do not start seeing results, their attitude may change sooner or later.

Gaining the adequate knowledge is the first step towards a lasting solution. This is why the first month with SFI is heavily oriented towards learning.

However, there is one thing most affiliates fail to understand: the need and the possibility to start growing the business within the first weeks, while going through the learning phase. Actually, learning should never stop. Not only should we revisit the material to which we were exposed during the first 30 days of our joining SFI, but, we should also expand that knowledge to other areas of internet marketing, develop advanced skills and establish ourselves are experts in some of the most important fields of online business, especially in organic traffic generation, successful retail E-Commerce and sales, market segments and market niches advertising, just to name a few. .

But, a team leader should, very early, encourage their new sign-ups to start focusing on sharing SFI, sponsoring, and promoting. When I joined SFI, this what I did and it is what I advised my associates to do.

It does not take sophisticated knowledge to apply the beginners' marketing methods and use their marketing aids. Such activity is in no need of advanced technical skills. However, it can yield good results very early. Those results will build the affiliates' confidence, boost their positive attitude and increase their commitment to SFI

From this early success, progress will come with ease, as the affiliates find motivation to work the business every day, expand their horizons, learn leadership skills, promote as many SFI income streams as possible, develop their teams and teach duplication to their downlines.

By that time, the path to ultimate high level of achievements will have become clear, all doubts will have vanished and the future will be bright

With out a doubt, my affiliates struggle with one phase or another of faith in the whole concept of this business. Their reasons for negativity are:
1) Everyone reminds them about the scams called pyramid schemes.
2) They expect to make money as soon as they would if earning a paycheck.
3) They recruit many, like maybe 10, PSAs and none of them even begin to work.
4) They find one really active PSA who earns 1500 VP and then never logs in again.
5) They talk to every retail business in their town and no one becomes an ECA.
6) They earn their EA and get their first pay.
7) They find out that we start at 0 VP every month and can't get to 1500VP the second month
8) They come to believe it won't work.
9) They are afraid to invest mostly money, but time also into their unproven business.

By answering these situations early on in an affiliates membership, we can forestall the shock they have when they meet these situations head on. Friends and family will discourage them. They will learn there is a difference between being an employee and a business owner. They will learn that very few people have big visions of an easy life and are willing to do what it takes to get there.

Explaining the compensation plan in terms that they will understand and not leave anything for them to have to figure out will help them stop balking at beginning the month at 0 and accepting such small compensation pay. They will learn what needs to happen before their pay increases. They can also opt to take on more than one of the income streams early on. As they begin to see the big picture, or some building income, they will begin to invest in their own business in more ways than just time and money.

Their believe that it won't work, that it is a scam, that SFI is out to get them, all must be tempered and turned into a positive attitude that there is a way to success even against the odds. We must provide personal experiences, testimonies of successes of others, etc.

A positive attitude coupled with the belief that there is a solution to every problem will help to lesson the struggles of your affiliates.

The concept of earning online is new in my country and most of the affiliates who come to my team find it difficult to understand many aspects of the business and how the versa points are converted to cash. In the majority of the cases I have come across, people ask, "So what do I have to do to earn". However, the main challenge affiliates face after joining is to build an active team.

Joining thousands of affiliates to SFI is an easy task but it is to find active affiliates that creates a lot of concern. This easily leads to de-motivation and inactivity and the need to invest in the business or make an effort to see it as a long term earning opportunity is no longer appealing.

To overcome this, I find myself constantly having to provide my own examples and experiences that have helped me understand the SFI concept better.

- I maintain an active Phone Chat group where affiliates encourage, motivate and stimulate other affiliates to understand that such struggles are part of business.

- I also talk to the affiliates on a one-to-one and explain the various options available to them to recruit new affiliates regularly.

- I pick up discussions from the Forum where the affiliates may not be active and circulate them via email to encourage them.

Communicating with your affiliates and keeping in touch remains one vital aspect of being able to overcome this common problem. Affiliates need assurances that they are not alone in this struggle and that the team is always there to support them.

The question I come across most often is, "How do I earn VPs without investing money?"

The one thing that I mention is, that you do not need to spend money to build a business with SFI, it will just take you a little longer to build your business without any type of investment.

One of the most important message I can state is that one must, "Treat their SFI Business, Like a Real Business".

You must work your SFI Business every single day, like you would any job that you would go and work at every single day.

I will mention a couple of other things to help them along to get started by reading and working.

The one thing many affiliates struggle with most is they do not know how to get started after signing up.

Since joining is free, many of them just sign up. Then they feel they all at "C" not knowing what to do, how to proceed further and whom to contact.

The moment I get a notification of a new PSA, immediately I send a Welcome E-Card where in I will:

1. Congratulate them for joining SFI in general and my team in specific;
2. Introduce myself as their Sponsor; &
3. Ask them in what way I can help them immediately;

Most of the time, I will receive no reply from them and it will never deter me from communicating with them again.

I will send a mail requesting them to:

1. Read SFI Basics
2. Launchpad Lessons every day; &
3. Explain what should be done to score 1500 VP and become EA

Following this, I will send an E-Card on Tips where keeping their status in mind, I will try to give them appropriate tips which are need based and case specific.

This is how I keep following up with them in the initial days.

I will never indulge in bombarding them with so many messages. The emphasis will be on logging in to their account and complete actions as defined in the To Do List on a daily basis.

I always urge them to:

1. Know SFI Rules of Success;
2. Follow them in both letter and spirit;
3. Get back to me any time they like for any clarifications; &
4. Will always react immediately.

Conclusion:

In sum and substance, not knowing how and where to begin and get started is the biggest problem being faced by new affiliates. Realizing this fully, I communicate with them giving specific and clear tips so that they will move forward with lot of optimism and enthusiasm.

One of the best ways to answer your questions is by going through your affiliate’s journey with SFI. It is best describe through your affiliate’s itinerary of his/her SFI journey.

Here are the stages of your affiliates’ major struggle/challenges:

1. Upon signing up most affiliates struggle in getting started.

Most people joining network marketing business are first timers in my downline. They come from an environment of being told what to do most of their lives. This is a big part of a challenge – they need to learn to see the big picture of making decision for themselves. When they signed up to SFI, they’re not aware of the concept of being an entrepreneur. There’s a major need for them to learn and understand the concept of becoming a SFI business owner.

To get them started, I send them my welcome letter, containing a short introduction of myself and clear instructions of what they need to focus on to get them established plus the five most important basics identification of owning a SFI business:

- Getting familiar with SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD

- Confirming their registration

- Whitelisting [email protected]

- Completing their Affiliate Profile

- Sending their SFI Commitment Message to sponsor and

- Uploading their photos

In my first weekly support message, I’ll do a follow-up about SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD to make sure they understand the core foundation of SFI. Furthermore, I would recommend to them the Fast-Track membership to kick-start the growth of their SFI businesses.

2. It’s a big challenge to maintain EA status on the second month of being an affiliate.

The tendency of most affiliates is collecting VPs as much as they can in their first month to earn big commission. They don’t have a clear strategy on how to utilize their Getting Started actions AVPs for more important need as they progress in their journey. They have a misconception of equating more VPs = more commission when they’re just getting started. They’ll get disappointed when they receive their first commission far below their expectation.

To correct this, I’ll direct them to the Scoreboard displaying the “My Earnings” with Compensation Type, Description and Earnings. I’ll make sure that I go through each item such as Direct Commission, TC Executive Pool, Co-Sponsor Commissions, ECA Referral Program, etc. Explaining to them clearly about these important terminologies will clear them up and put them back to the right track.

I emphasize to them the importance of logging in everyday performing their To-Do List to collect the maximal AVPs/month to help them out in making up the required 1500 VP for maintaining EA status. When they attained EA in their first month, I reassigned affiliates to make use of the weekly actions of sending group support messages and earned them 30 AVP. I’ll let them know the easiest way to re-qualify to EA2 is by investing in TCredits with 1500 VP. With the TCredits, they’ll get introduced with the key elements of TripleClicks EZ games, Pricebenders auction, etc.

3. Most affiliates struggle in recruiting to start building their team.

This is a crucial stage of every affiliate in his/her journey with SFI. An affiliate might be able to maintain EA2 status for a couple of months but without starting to build his/her team for some reasons such as, lack of time or cant’ afford to invest in starting their own ad co-op, etc, he/she will soon get disappointed leading him/her to inactivity.

My affiliates struggle most with having enough funds to maintain their SFI business. As you know, you need to make a Standing Order to maintain an EA rank. We are not required to set up a Standing Order or to purchase a regular order but if we really want to achieve EA status, we really have to invest.

Achieving 1, 500 VersaPoints without spending takes time and is sometimes difficult to accomplish at the time you need it to. Perseverance, dedication, commitment, and 100% effort is what these affiliates need.

I address it by giving them constant motivation and tips on how to make sales or get sign ups. Just by advancing to BTL and upon generating EA2s, it is easier to achieve higher VersaPoints. It can even advance them to the next rank. However, they won't get these results quickly. They have to wait a little longer for this to happen. You are a very lucky person if you got plenty of active affiliates on your team. They are our gateway to success on SFI.

Since building a team takes some time to fulfill, I encourage my affiliates to focus more on their sales at the earlier stage of their business. Direct Commissions will give them enough resources to earn money for their pockets or to build a stronger presence in SFI through purchase of business-boosting products such as PSAs To Go, TCredits (very essential to win something on auctions and games). Winning an item with high value from auctions is already enough to jumpstart any affiliate's status. Items won can be exchanged for GCs which in turn, can also be used to purchase other TC products or they can be exchanged for TCredits. The higher the TCredits earned, the higher it is the possibility to achieve an EA rank or even higher than that. The affiliate then can sell the ordered product and get real cash. There are earnings to save and funds to finance the business.

I tell them to advertise TC products anywhere possible; online or not. We have a lot of marketing materials and methods to choose from. They can even design their own flyers if they don't have the capacity yet to purchase. I encourage them to start with their family members and relatives. After which, they can proceed marketing our products to their friends. Then, in any way possible, they must master the skill of selling our products to strangers. If they really want to achieve what they desire to achieve, there's no way they cannot do it. There are a lot of options available. A personal contact is not even always necessary. This is where e-mail and social media accounts work best.

I also advise them to join free Traffic Exchange sites. Great chances at no cost. Plus, they can earn there too. There is nothing to lose so there's no room for excuses.

In my experience, the one thing my Affiliates struggle with most is recruiting and retaining new Affiliates to their own teams. As with most members of SFI, this is a problem that I also have to deal with, so I have a few ways in which I try to support my Affiliates:

* I tell them of my experiences - 2 years with SFI and although I have recruited or purchased many Affiliates, I still only have a small number of consistent workers - work with the workers and don't be downhearted as this is common to us all at some point.

* I suggest ECAs who have a good track record in signing up Affiliates - for relatively small amounts of money it is possible to buy in Affiliates then turn your SFI leadership skills into activating them.

* Where possible I transfer some of my Affiliates to my 'workers' - a different approach may encourage them to apply themselves to SFI.

* I suggest places to advertise and ways to advertise - this is the bread and butter of SFI and good sources should be shared.

* I remind my Affiliates of the other sources of income through SFI - now promotNG the new Wave3 programme as an excellent way to recruit PRMs, who also provide income and valuable VP when they purchase from Tripleclicks.

These are just a few of the ways in which I currently encourage my Affiliates to overcome their problem with sign ups. Overall I try to make sure that I lead by example and am open to telling them of my experiences and how I have dealt with them.

From my experience in SFI, the one thing affiliates struggle with most, is DUPLICATION particularly about getting serious and active affiliates. Since it appears to be a business-wide problem, everyone is grappling with it the way they deem fit. On my part, I always insist on the following to my affiliates.

1. Be very familiar with SFI awesome sponsor tips and use them as recommended.
2. Do not fail to regularly communicate with your affiliates.
3. Encourage and motivate them to keep sponsoring even if they are not getting serious and active affiliates.
4. Promote your SFI Gateways widely and intensely to recruit new affiliates.
5. Never fail to welcome your new affiliates when they join your team.
6. Follow that up always with “welcome to my team” cards.
7. Share your progress in the business with your affiliates.
8. Appreciate the modest achievements they have in the business and reward them if you can afford to.
9. Remember and identify with their anniversaries and congratulate them.
10. Encourage them to ask you questions and help them with good answers and references.
11. Take your affiliates as business partners and relate with them as such.
12. Encourage them to read widely in SFI and to imbibe all the business lessons.
13. Encourage them to join the various forums and to participate actively.
14. Advise them to have fun with the Trivia Games and the Auctions.

The ONE thing most my affiliates struggle with the most is making a purchase from their TripleClicks Store. It’s either because they can’t afford to, or they can't seem to pay from their country. ECAs in their country who sell TCurrency are often very difficult to reach and/or receive a response from.

How do I help this situation?

A) In general: For those who only have a few dollars, I encourage them to set up a standing order for as little as a SINGLE TCredit. They will save 5% and get them into the habit of paying a small amount monthly.

I try to contact the ECAs myself, give them a gift certificate or TCredits, reassign one of my PSAs, instruct them how to make the most VP possible without using up everything for the following months, and explain how to enter all the free contests.

1) Start them off right by getting them to do the daily and weekly tasks before using up all their free TCredits, like doing all the Intermediate and Launchpad exercises the first month.

2) Have them continue this monthly, including learning something everyday. Encourage them to visit the Forum and participate, and to try to answer ASK questions. This will help them to learn and to eventually win VP. An extra 20 answers voted on will also give them an extra entry into the Daily Grand Prize, and an extra entry for clicking on the blue rectangle on their Alerts Page.

3) Emphasize the importance of all free contests and how to enter. For example, explain the E365 Contest, that they will automatically be entered every day for the first year as long as they log in daily and stay above the green line.

4) A new affiliate has 30 days to reach EA. Daily - 30x11=330. VP (or longer if they joined after the first few days of the month and transfer their VP to the next month.)

5) Weekly Tasks - I always re-assign a PSA from their country if possible. Doesn’t have to be working. Just lets them earn 120 VP for sending team mail. They can also view their TC page and send Stream Messages. 120+32=152 VP.

6) The Getting Started items with the jets need to be accomplished in the first 10 days, which will get them about 200 VP. I usually give them a gift certificate for $20.00 to purchase the NMP (new member pack.) That’s 500 VP, making a total of over 1000 VP and Silver Fast Track membership.

7) The NMP contains 200 MRP, 50 TCredits,10 EZ (for Eager Zebra Games,) and 30 free entries into the Daily Crown for the next 30 days.

With the New Member Pack they can play Pricebender Auctions and Eager Zebra Games at their TripleClicks Store. Each day I instruct them to play:

a) one EZ game using a TCredit to enter. They will automatically earn 2 VP, MRP, and an entry into the Daily Crown.

b) bid once on a double MRP Pricebender Auction. This gives them 10 MRP, 2 VP and 1/10th of a Spin-and-Win. At Spin-and-Win, with 3 spins they can start earning a PSA. When they get 1 PSA they have a chance to win other prizes.

8. With extra tasks like a few launchpad exercises they will easily reach EA status and receive 10 TCredits, 2 CSAs and a small commission.

9. The second month I introduce them to ways to earn income at SFI. Sharing links to join W3, using free banners from the Marketing section, explain the SFI PPA - pay-per-action, advertising their gateways to get PRMs, ECAs, PSAs and advertising products of ECAs, Pricebender Auction, and more.

10. They can use their MRP to purchase SINGLE TCredits - 102 VP each.

11. Continue to do what they did the first month, also making sure to do Monthly Actions.

NOTE: If they join after the first few days of the month, instruct them to transfer their VP to the following month. They will then have until the end of the next month to reach EA or maybe even BTL. You may change your strategy if you can’t afford to give a gift certificate in these cases.
