In my introductory welcome letter to my CSAs, I define what a co-sponsor is, why they have one, and explain what the duties of the co-sponsor are. I tell them to first go to their sponsor and then their upline when they are having problems or questions, but to come to me if they get no response or they are still having questions on the subject.

Then a few days later, after giving the CSA time to respond to my welcome, I will look to see if he is progressing with his To-Do List and to see who his sponsor is. A sponsor who is too new may not be very knowledgeable. One who has been in for a long time and has a high status may not have time to carefully watch his team. One who has been in a long time and has a low status may not be interested in helping new PSAs.

If the CSA is not progressing past where he was when he was given to me, I will give him instructions on how to begin and answer some unasked questions. I do this in a group mail. And then I answer individually if they write back to me.

My weekly and monthly mailers to my CSAs usually are modified from my mailers to my PSAs. Some of my best workers are my CSAs.

I just had an AHA! moment. The question is not asking how you present the ECA program, but it does ask how you describe TripleClicks to prospective participants in the ECA program.

They want to know what it is, what's in it for them, what they will get out of it, what it costs, what they have to do, and will it be worth their time. But their first question will be what is it?

In the past, I have gone to great lengths and costs to promote the ECA program. I bought the TC business letterhead stationery and letterhead envelopes. I wrote out a friendly letter describing TripleClicks and the ECA program and why it would be good for each of them. Then I put in a ECA brochure and a Gift Card, mailed it off. All together it cost about $5 each.

What I did wrong was I did not personally follow up with each business. I also confused the main idea of referring an ECA with gaining a PRM. I tried to get two bangs for my buck. And I got nothing.

What I did do right was describe TripleClicks in a way they understood. Just saying that it is an online web-site to buy and sell products does not do it justice.I tell them that it is like a giant shopping mall where different vendors are encouraged to offer all sorts of products and that even private individuals are encouraged to sell used items in great shape. I tell them that TC is the marketing partner of SFI, an affiliate online marketing opportunity where a million affiliates get special credit for buying products and for selling products by advertising them. And that I have been a member and worked with TC for _years.

I tell them that their cost is minimal, including that amount they pay covers the maintenance of their free web page, the administration of the order taking, payments, and seller notifications. The only cost to them is that 15% of the sales. They have unlimited ads and years of membership.

This year I will meet retailers face to face and do follow ups. I will give them an ECA brochure until all of mine are used and then switch to whatever SFI is coming out with. I will not waver off the ECA purpose until I am sure the retailer will not be referred.

Our responsibility as a sponsor, or co-sponsor, is not to force a relationship with our affiliates, but to offer to be there whenever they feel the need to call on us for help. We must be perfectly plain when we tell them how we can help them, that this is their business and, though we offer advice that has been handed down for 17 years, it is still their freedom to go their own way as long as they keep to the agreement they have with SFI. Give them some space.

I have found that we have 3 types of affiliates, a small group who will gladly communicate, and two groups who won't. These two groups can not be told apart until one affiliate at a time comes out and responds to you. What separates them into 2 groups is whether they read your letters, cards, and Stream posts, or totally ignore you and want nothing to do with SFI.

Many will read your posts and do absolutely nothing. No log-ins, no VP earned, no replies. Until the day you say something they can not resist in talking or doing something about. Make a mistake and then send a note of apology and ask if anyone caught it.

Short notes are more likely to gain their attention.

Be quick to see new appearances on your Movers List. Check for those who only earn 1 VP. A huge bear, newly awakened from hibernation, only eats tiny grubs and berries. Remember, no matter how long ago they signed up, they are still Newbies. Sell them on the attributes of SFI and TC. Show them the Plan and the Compensation Plan, and the Getting Started video.

We all know that what ever we do today will matter tomorrow or later on in the future. It will matter for the better, or the worse. It may seem to not matter today, but just like the jack hammer on the block of cement, eventually the effect will become known. The spectators get throbbing headaches, the block crumbles and is easily removed with shovels.

Our work at SFI seems to never take a turn for success. We advertise, sponsor, write letters, reassign, send e-cards, write more letters, offer contests, etc. And we see our Genealogy fill up with inactive PSAs and CSAs, see some appear on our Movers List, see the same names om the Opt Out Page, etc.

It SEEMS like nothing is happening. But we are reading the Forum, ASK SC, the myriad helps at Reference. We are advertising, for affiliates and customers. We are always doing something.

Some things are time wasters for some of us. These will have a sum total of wasted time for some, but be productive for others.

Have you ever won a PriceBender auction? No, then why waste the hours on losing when you can win using that same time on prospecting? The same goes for spending mega-time on games. You only make your sponsor rich when you do that. These are better suited for when you have some level of success marked by time leveraging and residual income.

I have spent too much time not in advertising. I have been taking steps to correct that. An extra email address, Paypal, splash pages, prestige Domains, ordering marketing aids. like x-cards, Gift Cards, and automobile magnets. How easy is it to slap a magnet with my Prestige Domain name and a line about developing a second income on my car an leave it in the mall parking lot?

And the price of the magnets goes down as you buy more. You put two on your car, two on your spouse's, and rent space on one or two owned by either college students, or retired people who travel the country. Income for them, cheap advertising for you. I have 3 ordered for my upcoming 3000 mile tour.

So, though it seems that we are not getting ahead in our work for success, the parts will come together. Like the definition of synergy, the total effect of the parts will out weigh the effects of the total. The parts, though insignificant in our mindset, are big when they act together as one purpose.

You will be given a link for them to get to the challenge game. A new affiliate will do well to get a good understanding of SFI and how to make really good money before he begins to actually work the business. For some the training period is only a few short days, for others it will take longer.

What is good money? It certainly is not the tiny amount one earns from the training vp. This first payment should be regarded as training also. From receiving it, you will see where to find your commissions, and how to use the chart. It also shows that you are in the system and that you will be paid when you begin in earnest to do the work.

The really nice commissions begin when you sales to PRMs and an active team that are buying products for themselves and have a handful of active PRMs.

To get from point A to point B, you will have to be aggressive in your efforts to advertise. You can not make a lot of money just buying for yourself, whether it is transfer buying of personal use items or TCredits. TCredits are useful but NOT, yes NOT, necessary at this time. Playing the auctions takes a lot of the precious time that you should be spending on the real work of the business.

Here is where we get to your question about investment gets answered. You have to invest a significant amount of time into advertising every aspect of this opportunity. Use as many marketing methods as you can and as many ad venues as possible. Track their effectiveness and then focus on those that produce well.

To do all of this advertising, you will want certain marketing aids and to use both free and paid ad venues. Find the marketing aids under Marketing on the main menu. We have business cards, called x-cards, to hand out to people or leave for them to find, post cards, letter head paper and envelopes, brochures to explain ECA, Gift Cards to entice people to join TripleClicks, shirts and hats with logos, and car magnets.

These can all be put on your standing order and will earn part of your 1500 VP goal. Set your personal goal to distribute al lof the cards that you buy each month so that you don't end up with a big box of unused x-cards. This will also help with your enrollment goals.

With all this advertising, you should get a steady stream of sign-ups. Most will not be active but train them all the best you can. Start right out encouraging them to set up a standing order for marketing aids, etc. and to begin advertising early (duplication). Then you should have good money coming in each month.

You can not be a good team leader while having low self esteem unless you "fake it until you make it." People don't follow losers and who knows better than you if you are a loser. Or so the thoughts go. Give your team something that will indicate that you have confidence in yourself.


If you need to, until you are assured that you understand what SFI is all about, and how to teach duplication, advertising, sponsoring, etc., use the helpful samples given at the PSA and CSA Mailers. They are actual letters sent out to the teams of the authors.

Keep reading and rereading the training articles and the Expert Reports, Internet Income, and other helps. As you become an expert your self confidence will rise and your team will draw from your strength.

None of us are born with experience. We all have to do something to gain it. Some of us gain it faster because we do more. Use every experience to your advantage. The "bad experiences" are intense training opportunities. View them with a positive attitude and find the good in them. Share them with your team in a positive manner and encourage them to find the good in their trials.

A low self esteem is something you put on yourself. Quit comparing yourself to others. You have talents that they don't have. You are not second rate, even if you need to polish your skills. Just work on those skills and use all your talents to advantage.

It does not mean that you have low self esteem if you realistically see your weaknesses. Just take them at face value and work around them until you have improved in their areas.

I don't understand why you are singling out the cost of products at TripleClinks, blaming world economics, and allowing your affiliate to be discouraged.Your affiliates are affected by world economy every place they shop.

World economics is a very big subject. Every single manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer, vendor, consumer, laborer, advertising venue, supplier, utility provider , and every other provider has a part in shaping world economics. Your affiliates are affected by world economy every place they shop.

Yes, there are also micro-climates in economy, too. Some countries can produce goods at very low cost. Some countries pay more for the raw materials, labor, real estate or rent, and therefore need to sell at higher prices. Some countries have very expensive shipping costs.

The prices at TripleClicks are set by the ECAs. These people know what they pay for their goods, and they know how much of a profit they need to get in order to make a living and to stay in business. The ECAs mostly are doing that. Pricing so they will make some profit. If they go too high, then you need to contact them to be more in line with their price. They may be doing their math incorrectly. Give them some sane suggestions. Some seem afraid to ask for any profit. They will not be in business for long. Remember, they are not in business to do us a favor greater than providing us with a place to earn VP when we buy what we need. They must make some money or they fold and get a job.

Teach your affiliates a little about supply and demand and world economics and ask them to start an ECA store themselves. Really get them thinking about the whole process.

You can advertise TripleClicks products just about everywhere you can advertise for affiliates, and even more places than that. There are more than one aspect of TC to advertise: the global shopping mall approach, the collections, the individual products, the auctions, the games, and the opportunities: W3, ECA, and free membership.

The number of products and possible collection combinations are beyond our comprehension. Be creative and smart when you narrow your choices of the products you want to advertise.Pick ones that will catch the attention of your intended customers, price, design, usefulness, trendy,etc.

You can pick your products first and then find your target readers, or you can choose a certain group of people to advertise to and then choose the products to bring to them. The point being is to couple the product to the customer, target your ads.

You can use all the marketing tools offered by SFI. You can use the various paid and free ads sites in most of the modes offered.Use the pictures and product descriptions or make your own banners. Be interesting, catch their attention. Don't promise more than you have control over.

If you would rather be creative, encourage your friends to allow you to throw a product party at their homes. This works great if you are an ECA, or have bought several products of your choice and you have created collections from TC offered products.

Jewelry parties, candle parties health products parties, lingerie parties, swimsuit parties, men's briefs parties all have a following. Buy a few examples and take orders, each customer signing up for a membership. Buy a few other products as door prizes, refreshments, and as hosting gifts.

Then take your collections to the craft and vendor shows and put on a pretty display. Sell products, promote TC membership or W3, and pass out ECA brochures. Get emails from everyone. Offer a contest if you want. Everyone wins a Gift Card.

Whoa! What's with the A-L-L-O-W? Allow, and what happens if it doesn't happen? You're going to let time pass, and if enough times passes and you don't see an income, you'll quit? How much income are you looking for? How much time will you allow?

There is nothing in building a SFI/TC business that allows you to wait passively for something to happen.You have to be aggressive in doing your work. Every day. Train. Lead. Duplicate. Advertise. Refer. Sponsor. Without doing these consistently, you will probably quit before you see a profit.

But your work isn't the all of it.You must also sponsor and refer quality prospects who will do their work and purchases. 1000 affiliates who don't even log in will get you no where. The same for 1000 PRMs, they have to buy if you expect them to help you.Look for these people with care. You will find workers where workers hang out...where they spend their money.

Finding an active team, educating them, teaching duplication, and encouraging them to buy from TC will take many months. Maybe the often suggested 3-5 years.You must be patient and diligent and not give up.

You will see a small amount of money when you earn EA. It gets bigger when you are BTL with EA2s who sell or purchase products from TC. This amount will convince you that there is more to come.

You must realise there are several income goals:
1. Your first little bit that shows up on your Commissions Report.
2. The break even when your commission is even or greater than what you spent and all the adverting you paid for, plus travel, etc.
3. The amount equal to your day job pay.
4. The amount that will cause you to quit the day job.

How much time are you willing to let pass?
