Good Morning.
In answering your first question, the One Struggle of my affiliate is the inability to navigate and work the SFI system and earn.
I noticed that some of them are hardworking but are slow in navigating the system.
To answer your 2nd question, how do i address it?
1. I take them on a tour slowly. When i say a tour i mean guiding them through
A. The SFIBasics and that is how SFI works.
B. Training Tools. Here i encourage them on the aspect of learning first before earning.
C. The Benefit/ Compensation plan: Here, i let them how they can earn in the business via sponsorship through team building, creating sales, duplication and acquiring versa points and also how to earn without investment.
2. I update my Leadership page to teach them on how to navigate through the business and be successful.
3. I teach a little bit about the fast tracker program in my PSA/CSA greetings and show them how it works and how they can benefit.
4. I show them and teach them from my emails and LP about my best tips in creating adverts to make sales. I also show them the advertising sites, marketing skills i use to get results.
5. I let them understand the importance of the Forum and the Ask Sc and what it can do for them.
6. I support them as much as i could individually connecting with them at the social networks to assist them with the system.
7. I send an email to them to teach them on how to create signs up and how to make sales via the TripleClicks/SFI gateways.
8. I teach them on how to win the Pricebender Auctions and the Eager Zebra games, what they are and how to win
9. I teach them the importance and the power of creating Standing Orders and havingTcredits and MRPand their usefulness in maintaining their rank and other benefits.
Through the above strategies, i've been able to address it successfully.

If you have to choose out of the lot, one thing most of the affiliate when they join in new; struggle with understanding the compensation plan of SFI. This is one of the most important and sort after information that appears most complex to understand for a new comer.

That in my view is one of the reasons for them to leave early. Once we are in for few months we find it easy to comprehend.

Each one of them joins with an objective to earn but the earning is not easy to understand for new affiliates.

1. Tripleclicks Executive Pool: It is not very easy for them to understand the way it is calculated and when they are eligible to receive it.
2. SFIPPA: It has too many conditions to confuse a new entrant.
3. Calculation of Direct commissions: Most would find it difficult that it is calculated as 45% of commission volume. Initially they think 45% of the selling price even after being stated clearly.
4. Calculation of co-sponsored commissions is not the same as direct commissions. Here also many of them are to be explained how it is calculated?
5. Same way ECA commissions and TL2 bonus is difficult to understand.

You as a sponsor have to communicate with them and explain step wise how they are calculated? And make them realize the underlying opportunity. It is very important that they understand the objective behind each process and how they can benefit from each? It makes it easier for them to make informed decisions at various stages of their business growth.

Once I set up a communication link with them, I give them an entire brief to earning potential and the ways they can enhance their growth.

Nothing remains difficult to understand when you have the will to do it.

This is a very good question. Most of my affiliates struggle with financial problem and they do not have fund to buy SO. Without SO be an EA2 is not easy. Also they do not have much time to do this business. As I always try to inspire that every day 1 hour is enough to successful in this business. But they do not want to spend a single minute to log in everyday and be successful to get VP everyday.
Phone calls in the same country is easy but for global PSAs communication is very difficult just can wait and watch through emails, chat tools.

So most of my affiliates struggle with some factors.
1. Finance
2. Time
3. selling TC products
4. Communication
5. want profit from the first day
6. have no patience
7. not much sports lovers to invest to play games
8. may be language problem
9. understanding of SFI concept
10. marketing of ECAs products

Regular team mails, stream post to get in touch to try 100% to the inactive affiliates wake up and be active but just can wait and watch if no reply receive from them. So we can just try our best to make our affiliates active not to force to do business as long as they are not our workers.

One thing an Affiliate struggle most is "Attitude".

According to Wikipedia, "Attitude is an expression of favor or disfavor toward a person, place , thing or event. It can be as positive or negative and it can be formed from a person's past and present".

With Attitude, an Affiliate then decides whether or not he will continue with his SFI activity after having signed up. That is why some Affiliates just disappear.

His basis to continue on the aforementioned activity also depends from his past experiences and his present situation. To elaborate further, if the Affiliate's past experiences dominates his present situation, the tendency is that he will not continue.

Furthermore, the environment where an Affiliate is being exposed of, is also a factor which will trigger his attitude. An example to this is when an Affiliate had been in the environment of Affiliates with bad reputation, then it will also dictate his attitude whether to continue or not such.

To address this, the team leader/sponsor should immediately communicate to the newly assigned Affiliate under his/her team, to initially answer the queries of the newly assigned Affiliate and to guide him on what to do.

Absence of this communication has the tendency that the Affiliate will discontinue with engaging in his SFI activity for just being left in the dark and helpless.

The problems that affiliates struggle with cannot be generalised but we can categorise them into two groups:

1. Those affiliates who sign up and stay inactive
2. Those affiliates who sign up and stay active

In the first group we have people who signed up while surfing from one business to another without making up their mind and those who are just lacking commitment.
Affiliates in this group do not generally respond to the team leader’s weekly messages or indeed any message at all. What should the leader do? The leader should still continue sending the weekly messages to all affiliates in his or her group as there have been some success stories of inactive affiliates recharging their batteries and waking up.

The biggest complaint I have seen from those who are already active is that they are not making major breakthroughs in spite of their efforts. If this problem is not addressed when it arises, some of them also eventually become inactive as they feel that they are not getting any returns on their investment. I think one’s approach to these affiliates should begin with motivation by for example sharing your story with them. How you started, the hurdles that came your way and how you overcame them. A good example is advertising. An affiliate can invest on paid advertising and still find that almost all the incoming affiliates are dormant. The team leader’s advice should be never give up but advertise, advertise and advertise. That is because statistics have shown that it takes many affiliates to get five quality PSAs. If you already have a successful advertising campaign in place, then it would be a good idea to invite this type of affiliates to join your co-op.

I think this is a very interesting question and have found the answers pretty interesting as well. What I find is that the ONE thing that my affiliates struggle with is getting started. I address it by providing step by step directions to my affiliates. I then ask them to e-mail me once they have completed the step. I also watch their VP Ledger and if I see that they have taken the action step I reach back out to them. I will offer assistance such as including them in my co-op if they become an EA2 and providing gift certificates to help them achieve EA status.

While this does not always engage the affiliate there are many times that it will and I believe in those instances it is a win/win as the affiliate feels supported and I feel rewarded that I am able to work with them.

Yes, it's true that a small number of affiliates ("super-affiliates") are making some very large incomes. And a larger minority, do earn lower-but-still-substantial amounts. But the truth remains... the vast majority of affiliates are struggling to earn. Affiliates struggle due to one or more of the following four problems. All four are avoidable/beatable, with the appropriate strategies and tools.

Most people fail at anything because of the tendency to FIRE-READY-AIM. They jump the gun and FIRE, rather than invest some time to get READY and then AIM.

The Affiliate model is a "high reward/low risk" Web site monetization option.
1. You don't have to develop excellent products - it has already been done for you. You simply judge and pick the best available ones, from the best available merchants.
2. You don't have to spend large amounts to manufacture and store inventory. No need to take and process a single order, or worry about getting paid (you don't even need a merchant account!) -- you simply send people to your affiliated merchants, then get paid when they buy
you don't have to handle or ship a product. Your SFI affiliate business can be started part-time, on a shoestring.

Yes, it feels "unproductive" to prepare and set up a system... But it's how the successful succeed. Part of your preparation should include considering going beyond the affiliate model.

Not only is it easy to choose the wrong programs, it's easy to struggle with the right ones. Even great companies with terrific products often don't have the time to train their affiliates. Successful affiliates do their due diligence in order to select the best companies. They also diversify into other, complementary monetization models.

The solution? Take what you know, what you love, and turn it into a Theme-based Content site. Attract highly targeted, interested "PREcustomers," provide solid value through content and then refer them to your affiliate merchants.

In the offline retail world, the old saying goes that "location, location, location" are the three most important factors for success. If you put your offline store on the right street corner, you're 90% of the way home.

No doubt this has to be goal setting. This would explain why an affiliate joins today and goes inactive even without a single VersaPoint despite numerous attempts to contact them. That explains why you have loads and loads of affiliates under your Genealogy Report but when you filter them by the ‘Last Login’ date, end up with just a handful. I always insist that affiliates who succeed, join with a purpose; could be you want to build a second income, maybe you want to quit your full time job and work from home etc but the common denominator is that you got to have a goal first then use SFI as a means to achieving that goal.

I find SFI’s fourth Rule of Success (Work with the Workers) very useful in addressing this. Identify your active team members under your ‘Movers’ section – the fact that they’re active means that they’ve already purposed to achieve something. While sparing some effort to try and re-awaken sleeping affiliates won’t cost you, channeling much of your energy to those few active ones will more often than not prove invaluable. Teach them how to set achievable goals and work towards them; if the goal is to say requalify as EA each month, explain how having a Standing Order will help them and why they need to log in daily and build up on their VersaPoint tally; if the goal is to recruit PSAs under them, teach them about how to advertise and also the importance ob ‘Bid and Build’. Use every moment available to communicate with them. I especially like the chat facility as you get to direct your affiliates who might have some questions in real time.

Most of the affiliates are not wiling to invest in the business because they don't want to spend money but they want to make money,this is possible butt it takes longer time to build a strong business.

Me personal talk to my affiliates and tell them that invested money is not wasted money,it is an investment in their own future business.

A lot of them don't have a team and they must buy TC credits to maintain their EA 2 status here,but no one is wiling to do something like that,they don't understand that this is for their own good.

Every one should be follow the Sponsors lead to be an good Sponsor too in my case what i do that my affiliates do to every detail.

I can not give my affiliates a failproof way to handle it because I do not have a way. I am struggling with it myself. All I can do is advise them what they can try - because that is what I am doing.

My advice regarding this is: Work with your Movers but do not ignore the inactive affiliates. Keep on sending your weekly mails to your active and inactive members but pay special attention to your movers. If you are in a position to send financial incentives, use it on your movers.

Money is an equally big struggle with a lot of affiliates. Lets face it - most of us are here because we need money. For a lot of us even purchasing T-credits is a huge problem because we simply do not have a budget to do so. This might be easier to solve - work on sales, sales and sales to earn the money to build your bussiness.
