This is a very interesting and one of the essential questions that one should ask. This got my mind working.
To answer this question just see most of the Affiliates that's you and me and all the rest have joined SFI for one reason to become financially secure even to have a second income.
There's always a little work necessary where money is concerned. As it is said money is not grown on trees but you have to work for it. This phrase has been heard of from the time we grow up from parents and aunts and uncles. And that is one reason people get educated to earn their future!
Having said that there's always a little work involved so as it is in SFI.
So lets come to your question: Why is it important to have team members to take on leadership roles?
- the very reason why we joined SFI - to make money. Let me simplify it a little further:
Leadership is :-
# A sign of growth. Personal, team, business growth as of becoming of our attitude - positive thinking , character - organized, time management, financial management, family and home management.
# A sign of Progress - increase in the team members, increase in commission and versa points increase
# A sign of success - increase in knowledge and wisdom about how to do business online and offline, increase in commission and payouts. For all benefits check out the benefit chart.
If team members take up leadership role it will benefit the whole team (up line, down line, themselves and the SFI business) and most simply they will all benefit from becoming a leader.
Before I pen off lets look at the definition of leadership in Business as written in the book by Henry and Richard Blackaby "The business world cries out for leaders as fervently as the political world. Technology continues to revolutionize the way people do business. The global economy has mushroomed. National economics have become integrated to the point that a financial melt down in Asia can have instant, stunning repercussions on business in North America. Diversity is the pervasive characteristic of the North American work force. Employees represent numerous ethnic groups. More an more people are trading in their desks for laptops so they can work at home or while on the road. Job sharing is common practice. Charles Handy observes, 'The Challenge for tomorrow's leaders is to manage an organization that is not there in any sense in which we are used to.' It requires a Herculean effort to create a corporate culture in which every employees feels a part of the community of the company. Yesterday's work place was a specific Location where employees came together for 8 hours a day. The majority of work was done for one reason - a pay check. Personal fulfillment, though a factor, was secondary. All that has changed. Today's workplace is a forum for people to express themselves and to invest their efforts into something that contributes positively to society. People no longer choose jobs based merely on salary and benefits. They seek companies with corporate values that match their personal values. Daniel Goleman suggests; 'Except for the financially desperate, people do not work for money alone. What also fuels their passion for work is a larger sense of purpose or passion. Given the opportunity, people gravitate to what gives them meaning, to what engages to the fullest their commitment, talent, energy and skill.'
Wow this was the longest answer I have ever given but it is important so I have inserted this from my favorite book.
