If you don't have team members in leadership roles, you will not be making any substantial income.
It is that simple.

Just like a brick and mortar business, if you don't have good sales people, you will not have much business.

So, train your people to move on up the ladder. If they wish to succeed at this business, they must make sacrifices to get there. That means time and money, if they are not willing to sacrifice both, then move onto the next one......SW,SW,SW....Some will, some won't, so what, NEXT!!!

Do not waste your time with tire kickers....they will do nothing but drag you down...connect with your movers, support them, reward them and train them properly and you will build a team of leaders!

Team leaders groom members to take after him/her in duplication, teaching and motivation of down line. Gradually, as the team grows, hard working members grow up to distinguish themselves as sub-eaders.

Such a growth causes the head to have a successful leadership experience.
Earnings will subsequently increase along the line upwards and the base will start broadeing into a huge cone.

Such a situation is very ideal in any business climate. So with some guidance, motivation and focus, the leadervhaving taken steps to keep the leadership build-up going will have most sub-leaders recruiting more affiliates.

Such advancement should be encouraged with prizes from the team leader. Creation of competition amongst the downland will encourage hard work and great performance from all members.

It is not feasible for you to check, control, motivate and guide hundreds or thousands of affiliates in your team single-handed. De-centralisation is a must to lead a team to success. Hence from the beginning, it is our and your duty to bring out the leadership qualities in our1st generation downline.

I personally believe that every affiliate is born with leadership qualities. It is our duty to poke the fire inside him. The best way to do so is to make him learn the system. Guide him to read as many ASK SC questions, and be active on the forum. Reading questions and answers is the easiest way to learn. Knowledge would give the person more confidence, and help him/her guide the next generation downline.

Remember-Practise makes a man perfect. The earlier he starts practising, the better leader he would be as time passes.

To successfully lead your team you need to not only know where you are going, but also be sure that some part of you is connected into the people supposed to be following your example or lead. Otherwise, it is possible that we may have set ourselves very high goals without really practicing or achieving them first, because nobody is following us. Confucius said, "a leader without followers is just a person going for a walk".

A team member can have a strong relationship and connection with the rest of the team as a Leader only when he or she proves to them by reaching goals & targets as a team player first. A team member who acts with a servant-leadership attitude by not letting his or her position or pride in abilities do not get in the way is essential to one who wants to take on the role of a leader. A team member can lead others in a manner that together everyone achieves their goals.
A good example is again found in the life of Jesus when He was teaching the huge mass of people who were following him around to listen to His teachings. He did not forget to feed them when they were hungry. He showed how could don the important role of a team member and still be a leader.

Quite simply you cannot have one without the other, and don't let anyone tell you any differently.

How on earth is your team going to have the foggiest idea of how to duplicate your business system and develop competence in a range of necessary skills that will support their success if they don't have effective leadership?

Below are three very important questions we need to consider when thinking about how good leadership skills apply to our SFI business:

• What does it take to be a good role model for your team and therefore a highly effective leader in SFI - what kind of person should you become?

• As a leader, what do you need to be able to do in your business on a day to day basis in order to demonstrate good leadership skills and be confident in undertaking the leadership competencies that are important for business?

• How do you go about developing good leadership skills and accessing leadership skill development programs that are relevant to your business?

In order to answer this question we need to define leadership!

L E A D E R S H I P = A leader is one who, KNOWS the way, GOES the way, and SHOWS the way

You need to become a leader who:
• Personally demonstrates competence in necessary knowledge and skills
• Applies the relevant knowledge and skills to your business on a daily basis, and

SFI is about becoming a LEADER, so as an SFI affiliate I strive to be a Team Leader, and become a good leader to the team.

If I want a new affiliate to commit to SFI and become a Team Leader, I should be the example that he/she will follow. As a leader I am a teacher / guide, to all in the team, and as such, I should be able to answer any queries, and guide members to find answers for themselves.

As a Leader I should have the badges to prove what I have accomplished, so team members will strive to immolate me.

As a Leader, I strive to make friends, with my upline as well as downline, try and find from team members what their goals are, take an interest in any problems they may be facing, and help where I can

Why is it important to have team members to take on leadership roles?

It is important because doing that is an achievement and is the only way to employ effective sponsoring and duplication strategies to be successful in SFI. When you make members to take on leadership role it means that you are growing your Team in the spirit of duplication and to grow your Team is one of the responsibilities of a Leader. You are then regarded or recognised as a very effective or an awesome sponsor and a result you would have created or increased your level of income.

Your income level will increase by virtue of the Compensation Plan because through the compensation plan, many affiliates earn lots of matching Versa Points from the activities of every other affiliate under him/her up to 6 generations downline. That is for every VP they earn you can earn matching VP.This shows that scoring matching Versa Points is a great way to earn money in SFI.

So, the only way to getting to earn matching versa points which is ultimate and also to make money in SFI, it is important that you must lead and grow your Team members to take leader roles.
