As far as I see it, the question is not so much really about having team members to TAKE ON leadership role, as much as it is about the fact that it is IMPERATIVE upon them to TAKE UP leadership role, if they want to succeed in sfi by personally recruiting affiliates into their team.

If you want to become BTL you will need 3000 VP, but you have to make at least 1000 action versa points. You can make 2000VP from sales without lot efforts (SO or games or you will sell some products). But actions VP are tricky. And you need to have team members to achieve that.
