The fear of success may be the beginning of failure if this fear is allowed to take a greater part of our thinking, so a systematic approach need to be used to gradually dissipate this fear and to consequently replace it with hope and courage.

Firstly, fear of success often arises from negative thinking or thoughts, so do encourage your team members to be positively orientated and they should not let themselves be controlled or impacted by negative people. Always sent them positive messages

First and foremost, I will get my team members to understand that Fear is a natural phenomenon in all affairs of people. Sometimes it is real and in most times it is imagined. That is why some writers refer to FEAR as an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Since it is natural and affects all of us, from our minds and actions, we can get past fear by allaying it and psyching it out the following ways.

1. You have nothing to fear in SFI business but fear itself.

2. Commence

Many people have never been in business before. Not in physical business nor online business. They do not understand the process of owning a business. Because of this, they do not see themselves in a position of Leadership.

You, as their leader, need to convey to your team members, just how you got to the position you are in now. Tell them a little about yourself. Explain you didn’t understand much when you started but that with the help of your upline, the Forum and

Hello Friend,

“He is able who thinks he is able.” ~Buddha

How would you answer the question: “Are you successful in life?”

I know many people who would say that they are not successful; at least they have not reached success in the areas that feel important to them. I have been one of those people.

One day I asked myself “What keeps me from being successful?” It took me a while to come up with the answer but I realized that I was holding myself

Interesting question.

Is it fear of success or more like a fear of failure. Usually people are fearful of failure I think more times than not. Perhaps what you mean is people are skeptical of success. In any case the way to get around this is purely motivation. The key is you have to communicate with your downline consistently lending a helping hand when needed and keeping them motivated at all times.

i can't stress enough the importance of developing a good relationship

What a great question! I think it is one of the hidden fears most of us have. As team leaders, we have to face and acknowledge it ourselves first before we can get past this with our team members.

I am grappling with this same fear myself. I have so many shortcomings and limitations as a team leader. Should I become successful and reach the top, how will I handle it? How will I keep that success forever?

There are active PSAs/CSAs in my team who are probably like me.

I have read many, and voted on several great answers to this question.

What is puzzling to me is how can anyone fear success?

I will share with you my own experience. When first having the feeling of making a successful decision excitement is what is first recognized. Sometimes nervousness, but there is no fear involved when there are indicators of known success.

When I first began with SFI there was a level of excitement, but only after actually seeing progress did

Thanks for this question.

The best way to inspire our Team Members is through our own example. We can speak about others achievements and success stories. But nothing will inspire them than that of ours.

A successful Leader is one who leads by his own achievements.

Fear of success alone is not the factor for many people. There are so many other things too. People just join SFI without having adequate information from the person who makes them join.

They

"Fear of success" is essentially a fear of change--if you reach your goals, you have to find new goals and change your pursuits. Change takes people out of their comfort zones, and as someone who coaches people for part of his living, I can tell you that many people are often more willing to stick with familiar problems than they are to consider a better life without them. It's frustrating.

The solution here starts with an action that very few people take with their team members:

Fear, any kind limits your progress and potential. It is also a negative emotion which you can only overcome by facing it. There are many example I can give you to help you understand why you should change this attitude and thought pattern.

A child growing up, learning how to walk looses balance and falls down all the time but he/she never gives up through fear of falling down until she/he balances and takes the first step towards you. This feeling elates you immediately and there is
