I have affiliates who are inactive. Is it a good idea or bad idea to reassign them to my active affiliates?

My personal feeling is that there is no point in reassigning an inactive affiliate to an active one...
There is always for you the possibility of making some VP's out of your reassignment;
There is also a slight possibility of a connection happening between two new individuals who interact;
But, I would prefer to reassign someone who might contribute to the efforts of my active affiliate than to reassign someone who would not make a difference for him/her.
I would keep on trying

Am a new SFI affiliate. To me, is a BAD idea. My sponsor, saying that he was "rewarding" me for my quick progress, has saddled me with a bunch of dormant referrals who are simply deadwood. Makes me think he doesn't value or respect me. Wish SFI would just drop them.

Honestly your question just enlighten me and all the sponsors who are reassigning their affiliates. Based on my experience I received affiliates from my sponsor as rewards, while checking their records, I have seen more than 50 affiliates who were registered long time back but never get even one VP. After several follow ups, some of them became active. It is actually advisable to reassign the inactive affiliates to those active affiliates who have potential or skills to motivate individuals. It

In my professional experience, I would not reassign inactive affiliates to affiliates who are very active. However, one can test to see if reassigning an affiliate would motivate them to become serious about their SFI business. In the ladder case, I'd try to match that affiliate with a new sponsor from his/her own geogragraphic region. Maybe, there was a disconnect between me and the PSA and I can faciliate a meaning partnership by assigning them to a new sponsor from their own culture and idealologies.

It all depends on how you do it. If your other active affiliate wants to take the challenge of working with the inactive ones to activate them , then go ahead . So I would say communicate first, tell them the truth and if they accept then reassign the inactive ones to them.

If no one wants the inactive ones, then reassign the inactive ones to other inactive affiliates . This way you will clean up your lists of direct PSA-es and you get the 5 VP, where applicable, as well.

In my opinion you can not motivate someone who is in active. Inactivity is the result of choices. If a person chooses to place SFI low on the priority list for the day then inactivity is the result of that choice. In other words, you can not motivate an individual to activity if they choose to give SFI a low priority ranking in the days long list of things to do. I hope that helps. See you at the top! Todd L. I would say this is a definite BAD idea. Affiliates who are inactive are exactly that.
Why would someone else want them?

Reassigning them wouldnt be a great idea. You will be passing out bad seeds to your PSA and remember that your PSA are your hope in succeeding in SFI if they find the program lucrative and working. Look it at this way, how would you feel if your sponsor gives you inactive PSA? It wont motivate you at all.

Best advice would be to try and communicate to them to logging they SFI account so as they can learn how the program works. This wont work with your first email, it will take days and

I personally dont agree with this idea. By the end of the day we will be chasing the active away from SFI. I wonder if I had 500 inactive affiliates under me and just 2 active, I would rather stick to the 2 and maintain as a member of SFI.

Inactivity is not a sign of lack of interest. It has been said that we can only work closely with a few at hand. The best advice I have heard so far is to work with the top five on your team. Reassigning affiliates active or in active make for a more effective team structure. Inactive affiliates are still affiliates and they should still get attention, reassigning them to other affiliates creates two opportunities.

1. The affiliates assigned the inactive affiliates have an opportunity
