Thank you for this question because it is one that I haven't seen before now. I have seen the answer to question lived out in my daughter's professional life very successfully so I know that it can be done! My daughter is a school teacher and she decided to go back to school at night to earn her masters so she was a professional teacher during the day and a very determined student in her night classes. She graduated with a 4.0 and I was very proud of her. It wasn't easy but she didn't quit!
I too have wondered about combining being a student learning all that I can about running a successful Internet business and yet at the same time being a team leader teaching duplication to others. I am blessed with a great sponsor who is also a great teacher and I try to follow his example. I also have found that it is best to admit when you don't know the answer to a question and tell your team member that you will do your best to find out the answer. I also tell my team to take full advantage of two valuable resources - The Forum and Ask-SC. The forum has friendly, experienced affiliates who are willing to help answer questions and Ask-SC also provides answers and solutions.
The other thing that has helped me and I suggest to others is to read. It helps me as I am reading to take notes and to write my questions down. I can concentrate on what I am reading and stay focused.
The last point I want to make is that if you should never think that you need to stop learning. I am going to be 60 this year and I am still learning. The day that I stop being willing to learn new things and stop reading is probably going to be the day that I die. The saying is true that readers are leaders!

To be a successful student of SFI

Do the following :

Do your daily, weekly and monthly actions.

Study and apply the rules and regulations of SUCCESS in SFI.

Read each SFI news between lines.

Ask questions about all you do not understand.

Learn from forum and read from Carson's personal post, comments and ideas
As you apply all the above and become a leader of great earnings, you are then fit to be a good SFI teacher.

Teach therefore your team members all that you have been doing as a good SFI student and as they follow your tutelage, you just see them moving from one step and leadership rank into another.

How can I be a successful student AND teacher in SFI at the same time?

That's a nice question Bensaad because in our life too we are learning as a student first then by our experience we teach our juniors in office or our children at home. Answers to this question will really help how we can be students and teachers at the same time in SFI.

If we want to be successful in SFI we must learn everything about SFI as quickly as possible and at the same time we have to continuously increase our business. We have to continually sponsor new affiliates every month. When we sponsor new PSAs we must teach them how to score Versa Points as well as teach them how to sponsor new PSAs. So its very obvious that we have to be a student as well as a teacher to be successful in SFI. This has to be continuous process because new things are added in SFI regularly. We must learn those new things and at the same time teach our downlines those new changes.


It's very clear from above that by learning new things regularly we can be a student as well as a teacher in SFI because we have to teach our downlines too.

A successful teacher is a successful student!

The truth is learning never really stops, as there is always something new. On the hand one can only teach others what one knows. Your question relates to combining the roles of teacher and student at the same time. As a teacher or sponsor the fruits of your work will be seen through duplication or how your affiliates perform. Having said that, it is not always the teacher’s fault that some affiliates do not perform.

As a student of SFI always stay on top, by keeping yourself up to date with new developments. In this way, you will always be ready to help both your old and new PSAs when they need your assistance. Of course it is not possible to have answers to all questions but the more you learn the more you are capable and even when you do not have an answer straight away you should be in a position to direct your PSAs to the right sources.

They say experience is the best teacher and to some extent this is true. As long as you continue to put into practice what you are learning, you will eventually find it easier to combine both roles.

Being a student and teacher in SFI at the same time is what most become the first day they joined SFI. Some takes weeks to become while others it's months. Being successful in this role requires the following.

As a student, you need to be:

Reading regularly; Ask questions for clarity; Emulate leaders doing well in the business; Participate daily in most activities in SFI; Understand the working of SFI and Aim High.

As a teacher, you need to be:

Patient person; Lead by example; A good listening; and a Motivator.

When you combine the qualities together, I believe you will be successful as a student and a teacher in SFI.

First, Bensaad, in order for one to be a SUCCESSFUL student in SFI, one must understand the importance of adhering to his/her DAILY exercises such as reviewing his/her LAUNCHPAD exercises, examining the ALERTS submitted from Corporate (SFI), participating in "ASK SC" and the Forum in order to gain valuable information that may answer many of the questions he/she may have.

Being a SUCCESSFUL student also requires 'true' patience and dedication to the tasks at hand, such as paying CLOSE attention to SFI's Training and Marketing Plans, DAILY promotions of his/her SFI business, researching every aspect of his/her business in order to gain as full an understanding as is humanly possible. Of course, this takes precious time. So, in these instances, patience and dedication truly is a VIRTUE!

Second, Bensaad, in order to be a SUCCESSFUL teacher in SFI, you must convince the people in your DOWNLINE (Group/Team) to DUPLICATE all of your efforts towards their own SUCCESS. If they buy into it, and begin actively participating just as you have, perhaps even more, no doubt then, you can say your teaching has been a SUCCESS!

Try to learn as much as possible and then try to transfer your knowledge to your PSAs. We all were students at the beginning and even today there are lot of things that we have to learn.
Try to be as better student as possible because you will then be a successful teacher. This business is all about duplication.

The answer to this question is duplication .....

You simply pass on everything you learnt as a student to become a successful teacher. Use all the tools you have here at SFI to learn as that student and once you have mastered something like the Auctions, Games, Advertising, selling etc ....

.........Then pass it on to your team...... Do this immediately or keep notes. There is a great little tool on your affiliate's snap shot profile page that save notes for you, that only you see. This helps you keep track of your individual interactions with affiliates :-)
