The training material provided by SFI is evidence that you are expected to be a student to be successful there.

When you start at SFI you are a student first, the Launchpad lessons are your text book. Once you have completed the lessons it is still your text book for learning.

You will need to refer to the Launchpads lessons from time to time for your own continuing education at SFI. You will need to refer to it as teacher, if your downline ask questions you may need to use it as reference for their learning.

When you become an executive affiliate there is a lot to be learnt to remain active. As you move up the rank, you need to learn about being in that position, how to hold on to it and how to keep growing; for this you need be a student at every stage.

In the meantime; to be successful, you have to teach new affiliates and those of a lower rank to do the same. You have to be ready to answer their questions and direct them to the correct reference source. You will be continually sponsoring, so you will be continually teaching.

Even if you reach the top and achieve the highest rank you will need to keep up with the Internet, technology and the changes at SFI, this means learning on your part.

Combining both, this is basically a training for you to become an effective networker and specifically an effective network marketer.

When you signed up as an affiliate with SFI, you are starting a journey as a Student. Learning your way on how to get started by reading Launchpad, SFI Basics, Rules of Success, 3-Simple Steps and tons of training materials provided by SFI.

As a student and along the way, you will learn:
1) How to Sponsor & Duplicate by becoming an Executive Affiliate and start building your

You must Become a "LEADER"! Why do I say this? The reason is that in order to succeed in SFI you have to take the time to read the prolific knowledge resourced provided to all affiliates in both the affiliate center and other websites on the Internet.

To be a successful Student and Teacher you have to have an open mind because this will allow you to have a better understanding when it comes to making money Online. You must never assume that you know everything and accept the fact that there is always something new to learn so this is the first thing you must learn and also teach others who truly wish to learn from you.

I will now give you a nice example. New signups need help getting Started so what are you going to do? The answer is the answer is in the red tabs on the homepage so what you are going to do ? One important thing to do is read about getting started in the forum to learn and then what you learn you will then post your own answer in the forum for your newbies to read and then you go to the ask sc tab to look for questions related to accumulating VersaPoints and then you will email your new affiliates a newsletter about the importance of learning about SFI and then share the ask sc threads that you found.

To answer your question you have to learn by reading just as much as you can everyday and then you use what you learn to teach others. I must warn you please don't try to memorize instead you must make sure you understand fully what you have learned in order to put it into practice once you master it then you teach others and maintain communication in order to know if your affiliates are understanding you and doing it correctly.

To be a real teacher you must not just give them things to read and then expect them to learn it by themselves, I mean this is a real turn off your affiliates will hate this. They want you to take your time to go over things with them like the to do list or if they need help advertising in the classifieds then write some text ads for them and then give them a list of online websites to post them in and also teach them how to write their own ads don't just give them a bunch of articles to read and tell them " take it home and learn it because that shows you really don't care .

You can successfully study and teach at the same time IF you take the time to understand each step of this program. So take it slow and share what you learn as you learn it. You will have better results if you take it step by step yourself and then lead them through the same process. That way you can provide a simple explanation about what you did, how you did it, and why it is important for them to do it.

What you can ask them to do from the very beginning, is to watch the SFI Start video, read the SFI Basics page and do all the Launchpad lessons. That should give them a good idea of what they can accomplish here at SFI, and you should be able to answer any questions they have, because you will already have gone through these basic steps.

Some of your PSAs might learn faster than you; others make take more time. Calculate the needs of each individual on your team and if you don't know the answer to a question, look it up in the SFI search engine or ask for help in the Forum, and encourage them to do the same. As their Sponsor, you are here to guide them, but they must also find their own answers at their own pace.

How do we apply this definition to our SFI business?
As a student of SFI, you will continue to learn about SFI starting from the BASICS. As a matter of fact, others have been in SFI for many years
and have more experience than you do. So you need to open your mind to take in more knowledge and as you take in this knowledge, you need to assimilate.
As a student what skills do you need to give attention to?
1)Listening and remembering

2)Meticulous reading

3)studying

4)Doing research

5)Analyzing and organizing

6)Putting thoughts down in writing.
These skills are paramount to your success as a student.

As a teacher, you must be able to inculcate what you have learned as a student to others. Impart knowledge in a way that stimulates thinking and that leaves your team or learners with the feeling that they learned something worthwhile from you.
HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL TEACHER

So the key to success is to keep learning all the time, login every day and work at this diligently. Then sponsor a lot of PSA's and teach them what you have learned. As a student to another student, we normally share what we encounter during our learning process. The more sharing from all other students means we've got more reports and also data for further research.
