I believe you are talking about the dynamic, exciting incentives to increase your downline’s enthusiasm that helps them look forward to doing the SFI business? I do agree that incentives create a fun culture in our business. It is widely acknowledge that recognition is also as effective a motivator as an increase of income. So how to kick start the fun in your team activities?

My suggestions:

1) Create a Contest within your Team. But what kind of a Contest? To me certain criteria you can consider and to be divided into 2 categories (and within a certain period of time):

• Based on Performance incentives - Such as new sign-ups per week/month etc.
Training steps completed, TC products sold, highest TC products volume sold etc, EZ
Games top Scorers, PB Winners etc.

• Achievers incentives – be it big or small achievements, rewards them accordingly.
Recognition raises self-esteem. By showing that you care about them that you value and
appreciate the effort that they put forth, and once they know by your actions, they may show
you something you may not have thought possible – they will give you their best
performance. For recognition, you can give away the following:

a) Create a recognition certificate (ready to be framed)
b) A pin/trophy
c) Special guest appearance at your webminar
d) Special give away items like T-Shirt, Caps, Smartphone, Tabs etc (depending on your
budget).
e) Ticket to a network marketing seminars. For example PSA who sign-up 5 new active
affiliate for the next 2 month gets this ticket to the seminar.
f) Free travel – always a good one, such as beach, cruise or family trip (whichever is
affordable by you).

2) The old way, have some home parties - Most of us are so focused on getting new sign-ups and customers online. We tend to forget that home parties will move you from high-tech to high-touch. You are giving them the opportunity to see, touch and try your products, ask questions and receive immediate answers and also hear other’s opinions.

• Your focus not just retailing products but also on finding new affiliates to join your team, in
return will build your team quickly as new member of your team will also bring their new
friends to their own home party.

• The fun part is also to have a contest. With your product line up, tell them about your
products/services/program. Then ask your guests questions based on what you’ve told
them. First person with the right answer receive a small prize. Please don’t be stingy with
your freebees – make sure everyone who attends walks away with a free sample, catalogue,
name card etc. Very important that handouts should have your contact information including
name, phone number, e-mail and website.

A critical key to a successful contest is communication to your whole team the details of the contest. Disperse it via your team mail, stream post and T-Connect page. Then request the ones who are interested in propelling their business and getting the prize to let YOU KNOW. This put the milk out for the ones that are truly excited and going to do it.

Once you have the motivated people from your team on board, let the game begin. You may just find the contest ignites your fire a bit more too. You’ll see both businesses take off.

What can you do to make SFI more exciting and fun for your team?

I think the best way to answer this question is to ask it of myself. So - what makes my SFI business exciting and fun for me?

And, that question is very easy to answer – everything about SFI gets me excited and I really do enjoy working in my SFI business everyday. In fact SFI is probably the thing I enjoy doing the most.

How do I communicate this to my team?

I hope my enthusiasm and encouragement shines out through my Stream posts, weekly TeamMails (“Chats”), Forum posts, E-Cards, and in my personal emails and messages to individual team members.

I don’t suggest that we should provide extra incentives and prizes. From what I can see, most SFI affiliates are poor (like me) and we are in SFI to make money, not to give it away. In fact we can’t do that because we can not afford it. (That can come later when our SFI businesses are earning us 6 figure incomes.)

And, we shouldn’t need to either. SFI has enough prizes, perks and benefits to satisfy anyone – anyone who works that is.

So, what do I do? I explain to my team how SFI works. I teach them how to achieve something and encourage them to do so. I tell them what that will cost – then I show them, from my experience, how that cost can be reduced, and, in fact, usually is reduced to some extent, because when they are working towards that goal THINGS HAPPEN. When you work in SFI you start to win stuff - TCredits, VP, CSAs, PSAs, and MRP and you receive recognition. There is nothing like receiving a congratulatory email from SFI admin and a new badge to brighten ones spirits.

And the joy you experience when one of your team members buys something, achieves something or recruits a team member who then becomes active is JUST GREAT! Even to receive a request for help or a question from one of my team members excites me. WOW! I’ve got someone who wants to do something. Of course, to foster their joy and excitement you need to respond to their question as soon as possible and in as encouraging and helpful a way as possible.

Of course, the converse is also true – if your team member does nothing then nothing happens. They receive nothing. And, isn’t that depressing and no fun at all?

So I think, in the end, it all boils down to attitude. We can’t determine the attitude of our team member – only they can do that –and it is their choice.

But what we can do is ALWAYS be positive, cheerful, encouraging and friendly towards them. And show them from both our actions in SFI and our knowledge and advice that there is much fun to be had in SFI and excitement to experience as we grow our SFI businesses.

One needs to be creative and have a sense of fun to make SFI more exciting for our team.

To keep your team engaged, give them something to aim for.

Try having a Team Contest where you reward Gift Certificates, a share in your personal co-op, or Reassignments to the winner/s.

For example, $10 Gift Certificates for First Sale, First Recruit or First Personal Sign-Up, etc.
$20 Gift Certificate for First Time EA, EA2, or First time BTL, STL, etc.

Get them to join your UBER League team if you have started one, and challenge them to win.

With each milestone, send appropriate E-Cards and share the exciting news with others through your Stream Post, Weekly messages, and on your Leadership Page blog.

Use the power of recognition and the positive power of praising people.

Early Birds- this is my special way of getting my team, especially the very hardworking and very active ones get to lead every month by requalifying on the first week of the month. This started as a trial with Gift Certificates as incentive, but to my surprise my awesome team don’t even need it! Most would requalify on the first day of the month, and so would I! Now I have an unofficial Early Birds Club!

There are many other creative ways to make SFI more exciting and fun for your team , stretch your imagination even further…Sky’s the limit!

The most important thing about this is showing how much you care and value your team by going the extra mile to get them engaged and excited about being in your team.

There are several things you can do to make SFI more exciting and fun for your team. One of my favorite things was to sponsor a contest such as the "Dash for the Cash". I set the requirement such as achieving the next milestone or a new highest milestone or making the leaderboads. The top affiliate is awarded a gift certificate of $50 dollars. I usually keep the team updated on the position of the key players in the contest. At the end of the month, the prize is awarded to the victor and they are recognized in my team mails as such. I also have a place on my leadership page where I keep such results.

Another way to keep SFI exciting for your team is to regularly award them PSAs for meritorious achievement. Many affiliates find it hard to sponsor other affiliates. They seem to be ashame to admit this but when you award them with matching PSAs for everyone they recruit, things can get a bit exciting. I remember when I didn't get any team messages. I logged in for a long time to see zero messages. I felt alone. So just a team mail every now and again can certainly be a bright spot in your PSAs day. Be supportive and accessible.

Finally, to keep SFI fun and exciting garner support for EagerZebra games. They are exciting and it's fun to show off your wins and badges. You can start a hang out or FB group. Share tips and strategies that will make you all better players without breaking any of the rules.

To make SFI more exciting and fun for your team do the following:

- Lead by example

Think about the behaviors or habits that you want to encourage to your team, and make sure that you demonstrate these regularly. It's important to embody these values, if you want your team to follow your lead. For example, always log in performing your To-Do List, actively participating in SFI Forum, Ask SC and EZ games. All your actions will be seen by your team such as your interactions of providing valuable solutions to others in SFI community and accumulating those prestigious EZ games’ badges. This is an excellent way to motivate, to create excitement and fun for them.

- Awaken your organization; Keep your team on their toes

Keep your team alive by getting involved in their activities that promotes the growth of their own SFI business. Electrify your team with your level of activities such as striving to be Top Enroller/Top Sponsor/Top Co-sponsor every month, Daily/All-Time VP Streak, etc., to get them inspired and never fall back to complacency. Make their journey with SFI an environment where your team members are continuously growing and thinking big!

Don’t just be a provider for fun and excitement, but rather focus on being an enabler of opportunities for your team to intensify their participation level in growing their SFI business as well as to having fun with TripleClicks’ EZ games. Be creative and make it easier for them to participate.

- Be sensitive to your team’s needs.

The only way you’re going to know what your team needs from you is to listen to them. Often times by simply listening will help you identify ways you can provide what is needed to help them out in their challenges. By doing this and by being sensitive to their needs, you’re creating in them an experience of increased satisfaction in growing their SFI business as well as creating team cohesiveness.

- Tailor rewards and motivators.

Each of your team members is unique, and they're likely to be motivated by different things. For example, one person might crave recognition from you and feel more valued in your organization, while another might prefer TCredits or Gift Certificate.

Start thinking about what motivates your team. Communicate to your team members to find out what they value. Possible motivators could include TCredits, Gift Certificates, and Reassignment of PSAs and recently CSAs, offering a share in your Ad co-op, etc.

Make sure that you provide your team members with appropriate compensation. Are they happy with the way that pay is structured? And, do they feel that it's fair and balanced, especially if it's based on performance? Discuss this with your team members in private, and address any concerns that they have honestly.

- Create competition.

Take advantage of your team members' natural competitiveness, and encourage healthy competition as a way to engage your team members, boost morale, and make SFI more fun. Competitions are also excellent for improving performance.

Focus the contest on a strategic business goal that you all need to meet. Devote a wall in your Facebook page to the competition, and post news about wins, display real-time updates and standings, and celebrate achievements.

To make the competition interesting and valuable, offer a small prize or reward. Ask your team members what they would like to receive, or use your own judgment to come up with something creative.

- Recognize Achievements.

One of the best ways to motivate your team members is to recognize their achievements on a regular basis.
Praising your team members could be as simple as sending an E card, posting your congratulations on Stream Posts or posting it on SFI Forum when they reach their goals.

Recognition from you is a powerful motivator, but it can be equally as valuable when it comes from fellow team members. Encourage everyone on your team to become champions of one another's success. Ask your team members to praise their peers, and to notify you when they see them achieve a win. This way, you can collectively recognize their efforts, which will build morale and strengthen relationships.

Good question. But in my opinion, you need not do something out of the box to make SFI more exciting and fun for your team as SFI is already very exciting business and carrying it out is a great fun. If you like, you can remind them by following actions.

1. Go to your stream post and write something interesting you did to build your business. Like you made a blog and posted a TripleClicks.com banner. Ask your downline to go to blogger.com and make a blog for themselves & then guide them how to promote SFI & TC on their respective blogs,

2. If you shared a ''Deal of the Day'' on Facebook or Twitter, tell them so that they too can do the same and learn something new to do.

3. If you happened to purchase something from our own store on tripleclicks or from an ECA, send them the link and explain the use of the product you bought. Recommend them the item you thought to to be useful.

4. If you happened to bid, recommend to your downline to purchase a Standing Order of 100/125 Tcredits and use the credits to bid for their favorite items.

5. If you bought 30 digital gift cards for distribution, give them the link to make a purchase for the same and explain them the advantages of Digital TC Gift Cards.

6. If you bought 30/60 normal plastic gift cards, tell them why you bought them. How you would distribute them to enroll more PRMs etc. etc.

7. Coming to playing Eager Zebra Games, tell them to play EZ games and have fun in SFI. At the same time they could add 250 VPs to their kitty of Versa Points too.

8. If as a Team Leader you sent a weekly message, tell your down line to do the same every week to gather valuable 20 VPs per week. Let them visit their TConnect page every week.

9. If you happened to answer a question on Ask_SC, recommend them too to try some easy questions to answer and win VPs.

10. Also tell them not to miss the SFI Forum which is a treasure of information. They should not just visit it for scoring one VP, but must read few posts to learn more about SFI business

Numerous SFI features combine both business objectives and entertainment possibilities, especially with the Eager Zebra Games, or Pricebenders auctions.

Making money while fulfilling one's hobby is a worthy form of creating excitement and fun for many.

However, these are very subjective notions. What is exciting and fun for someone may not have the same effect for another. Some of us will find excitement in winning auctions, others in being at the top of the leadership boards. Sports fans will find it in the Uber-Picks games, while those who enjoy trivia will turn to Knockout Trivia or the Gold Streak.

I personally find excitement and fun writing to answer Ask SC questions, to see my Executive Pool points growing or to win a Flash draw at the auctions.

Again, it is all very personal.

If you want to focus on providing entertainment to your team members, my suggestion would to get to know each one of them and their hobbies very well. From that insight, you can organize activities around the major SFI income streams.

Your team members who share common interests and hobbies may compete for prizes on the games you defines according to rules agreed upon.

You can elect to reward those of your team members who enjoy Trivia games if they win at the Knockout Trivia or the Gold Streak.

The same may apply to sports fans with the Uber-Picks games.

For others who are more business minded, you may resort to the more traditional forms of contests based on sales and sponsoring goals.

The Leadership page is an excellent tool for setting up those contests, defining the rules and identifying the prizes to be awarded.

Based on my experience, what has made my team more excited is the Team contest I do.

Team contest can cut across the entire team or just the PSAs or CSAs. The end result is usually the reward which motivates each team member and make them thrive to be the best in the team.

Some team contest might include PSAs that retain their EA2 status for the 2nd or 3rd month. Such reward could be in the form of a gift certificate, t credit or lunch(dependent on the PSAs being in the country you reside).

Some contest might be the highest sponsors in the team that would be rewarded with either gift certificate, t credits or lunch.

Some things that make SFI more fun is when we praise our hard working affiliates. Praising them gives them a sense of belonging and the feeling of being loved.

If you are an ECA, you can decide to give special gifts and offers that your team members can't resist. You are selling your goods as well as being appreciated for the gift given.

Generally, all is a win win situation and its how we present SFI as our business that can either Mar the businessn or make it a success.

I believe that to in order to make SFI more fun and exciting for your team, you’ve got to work at developing your team. I am not talking about the number of people in your team.

The aim here is to create a team spirit. You want your team members to feel that they belong and to feel safe and comfortable within the team environment. The exciting and fun part will never happen if they are not comfortable with you and with the team environment.

This takes time and it requires planned and deliberate actions. Here are some of them:

Share some aspects of your life with them. I always find that if I talk a little about myself, I am in a way revealing something of myself. I am opening up and letting others in. I find that most people respond well to this. They in turn, tend to respond in a similar manner and share something of their lives as well.

When communicating with you team members keep it simple. Use every day language and stay away from jargon and slang. Keep it light, friendly, warm and courteous. You want your team members to easily understand and enjoy what you are saying. It makes them warm towards you and would most likely follow your suggestions and take part in SFI and team activities. Work hard at cultivating and encouraging them to communicate with you regularly.

Create free team competitions and if you are able to, provide prizes for the winners. They can be serious or silly ones or both but everyone within the team must be encouraged to take part.

Announce to the whole team the winners and make a big thing of it.

Announce to the team those who have reached some milestone, birthdays, anniversaries etc.. These do not always have to be SFI or business related. Be careful regarding members privacy however. If in doubt check first with the individuals concerned.

A little tip here:

To find out members' SFI anniversaries and birthdays, use the anniversary and birthday filters at your Genealogy report. I do this every day and send an e-card to the member whose birthday or anniversary it is. These are always appreciated.

The last point I want to make, and this is the big one – Work at developing your team members to be successful SFI business people. Being successful is not only rewarding but it’s also exciting and fun. How you go about achieving this? Well volumes of books have been written about this subject!!
