Start it with having a proper mindset because that is one of the qualities of being an effective leader. It is like a Law of Attraction that everything you think will happen to you. If you think positively, positive things will come to you and the same one to the negative things as well.

If having a proper mindset is not easy for you, I suggest that every morning upon waking up, read at least one short positive quote. Go to google and type in the search box any of the following words: motivational quotes, success quotes, or inspirational quotes. Choose just only one and apply it throughout the day. Aside from a short positive quote, you must also watch videos from youtube (use the keywords I mentioned awhile ago) and read e-books that will uplift your spirit. Hint: TripleClicks has lot of those.

As for the lack of experience, you do not need to worry for that. As an SFI member, we are so lucky that we have unlimited training materials that we can read and re-read anytime we want. Not only that, we have the Ask SC and the Forums on where you can get to read the ideas, insights, and suggestions from each members. If reading those seems overwhelming for you, read at least one topic at a time.

The fact that you do realise that you have low self-esteem and that it would affect the way you lead your team is a good start. And you have taken a further step to deal with it by asking this question. Good for you.

Self-esteem refers to your overall opinion of yourself and the value you place on yourself as a person. Low self-esteem is when this opinion of yourself is negative: for example, 'I'm useless' or 'I'm unworthy'. This opinion can be changed with positive and determined action by yourself. It takes time. You can seek professional help if you like.

You say that you lack experience, this can be a symptom of your low self esteem, but I suspect its simply because you have not done much or anything similar to the SFI business.

There are many tools available within SFI that can help. There is also a lot of information on the internet about self esteem and what you can do to overcome or to combat low self esteem.

I believe that the best way to combat low self esteem and lack of experience in order to become a good SFI team leader is to just get in there and do it.

Become more active in SFI and grow your team. Read all about how to become an 'awesome sponsor' and put as many of these into practice as much as possible. Treat your team members as you would like to be treated: with care and respect, encouraging them, acknowledging their achievements, training them and urging them on. Its not going to be easy and you have to keep at it.

When you or your team members have some successes, savor and celebrate them. Pat yourself on the back and say 'Yes! I've done it!'

In time you will grow in knowledge and experience. Any thoughts of being unworthy to be a good SFI team leader will vanish and with confidence you will enjoy leading your team.

There are days when I feel down, I question my abilities and I can pin point many reasons why or who is responsible for this state of mind. I tell myself I am human. I take time to introspect (looking inwards) and make a self-assessment. Being able to analyse yourself are very important tools that will help you improve only if you allow your thoughts to move in that positive direction. If you wallow in self-pity and start doubting your actions or the results of your actions, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to low self-esteem.

Leadership, whether it is in SFI or anywhere else in a nutshell is being able to set aside the negative feelings and draw yourself out of that state of mind. If you feel you are worth nothing, others will definitely believe so and this is the first step you need to address. We are all individuals who possess unique qualities and characteristics that make us special in each and every way and this is a fact. Believe in yourself and your abilities and move out of that negative path.

Look at your progress, assess it through your hard work, your self-drive, your ability to understand the needs of others, your support for your team and enjoy what you do. With all these traits at your disposal, your self worth is more than what you can imagine. Avoid negativity of all forms and keep away from people who bring you or your business down. Do not let what others say affect your goals or objectives and do not anticipate the worse!

We all face numerous challenges in life but that does not mean that we have failed or we do not have the ability to perform. And, even if you fail once, let that not distract you from your focus-who does not fail before they succeed.........

As for experience, this comes with time not only for yourself but for everyone who set foot on the SFI platform. Even Gery Carson started as a young man in a marketing role when he had no experience-he started somewhere and has built SFI through 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 10 years & it has now mounted to 30 years of experience-it comes with handling a business/passion over time. - The great thing about SFI and their TripleClick's Store is that you can do everything online.If you have low self-esteem.

- That means you don't have to go out to meet people or put on seminars. You don’t even have to pick up the phone.

- Ask your sponsor lots of questions. If you can't get help from him or her, try your co-sponsor and other upline sponsors, Forum, ASK SC and a2a friends. Of course, there is also support from Gery Carson. Send in a support ticket to get a quick response.

- Use SFI Basics, teach your downline the same. Get 5-7 EA2s or higher, help your first line PSAs and then work down your line. You can also help your CSAs to maximize your earnings. Just think, especially if they are already getting help from their sponsor, they also getting help from their co-sponsor you!

- As far as leading a team, ask your upline for help, keep up on all the training and new information at the SFI site. Pass this information on to your downline. Anyone signing up as an affiliate with SFI would have good enough self esteem to build a team. Their interest; in the first place, in what SFI has to offer says it all.

As a matter of fact, I think being at SFI could boost one's self-esteem.

What is required is that you believe in yourself, willing to follow the instructions and work hard to be successful.

Here is what you can do:
-Think about why you want to be part of SFI, what attracted you in the first place.
-Invest some money and think of yourself as someone starting their own business.
-Remind yourself that you are building a business you are not someone with low self esteem.


Due to lack of experience You will need to set aside extra time to gain knowledge, that includes studying and applying what you have learnt.

These training material are in the library at SFI, use them to gain knowledge and confidence in yourself.

Most important, follow SFI's instructions on what you can do to be an awesome sponsor.

You can not be a good team leader while having low self esteem unless you "fake it until you make it." People don't follow losers and who knows better than you if you are a loser. Or so the thoughts go. Give your team something that will indicate that you have confidence in yourself.


If you need to, until you are assured that you understand what SFI is all about, and how to teach duplication, advertising, sponsoring, etc., use the helpful samples given at the PSA and CSA Mailers. They are actual letters sent out to the teams of the authors.

Keep reading and rereading the training articles and the Expert Reports, Internet Income, and other helps. As you become an expert your self confidence will rise and your team will draw from your strength.

None of us are born with experience. We all have to do something to gain it. Some of us gain it faster because we do more. Use every experience to your advantage. The "bad experiences" are intense training opportunities. View them with a positive attitude and find the good in them. Share them with your team in a positive manner and encourage them to find the good in their trials.

A low self esteem is something you put on yourself. Quit comparing yourself to others. You have talents that they don't have. You are not second rate, even if you need to polish your skills. Just work on those skills and use all your talents to advantage.

It does not mean that you have low self esteem if you realistically see your weaknesses. Just take them at face value and work around them until you have improved in their areas.

To Become a good team leader in SFI you need to focus on learning no need to focus on earnings
I always told that earning is in future and learning is in present.
what is learning?? their three simple steps

first one is observation simple
that is clear if you want to learn you need to observe the team leaders how they work then
you can follow them.
you need to observe good teamleader and bad teamleader then you can take good
thoughts from both of them.

second steps is understanding
in first step what you observed you need to understand that so what you have observed!!
if you want to become good team leader you need to observe two types of people
those who are successful and those who are failures
which thing you observed,you need to observe those actions and how they work or how they talk
observe thier thoughts and how they think this thing is you need to understand
if able to understand then you need to go to third step

third step is apply and practice the rules and thoughts of successful team leaders
you need to apply
if you not apply or if you not practice then you not become beneficial
if you done practice then you have two types of experience first one is
good and second is bad experiences
if you have studied both the experiences that is called learning
Don't think that what other are thinking about you

You don't need to be perfect to be a good team leader. You just need to be one step ahead of those you are leading! And if someone in your team eventually overtakes you, congratulate them, and take pride in having helped them get there.

Everyone starts out on their journey in SFI with no experience in SFI. They might have experience in some other business, and be able to apply that knowledge here, but they still need to learn how to best apply that knowledge, in the context of SFI.

Fortunately, there is a wealth of knowledge available to you, freely contributed by those with more experience, so you can easily find out what works and what doesn't. Learn from the experiences of others, and you will be fine.

As for low self-esteem, only you can change that. Self-esteem is how you feel about yourself. So look for as many ways as possible to feel good about yourself.

Look in the mirror and compliment yourself on your appearance, your fashion sense, your smile, the way you have overcome whatever difficulties you may have faced in the past, the fact that you are able to put food on the table and a roof over your head.

Congratulate yourself on having the wisdom to start your own business, the determination to be successful, and the courage to ask for advice.

Each time you compliment yourself like this, you are depositing 'positive' thoughts into your memory bank. Keep making deposits!

Try to set yourself some small, easy-to-reach goals, and take pride in accomplishing them. Feel good about each small victory. If things don't go according to plan, briefly look at what you did, and see if there is anything you could have done better, learn from your mistakes, file it under 'experience' and move on.

And always make sure you spent more time feeling good about your successes than you do revisiting your failures.

To become a good team leader you must have a clearly defined goals and a plan to achieve these goals. As far as experience is concerned every one starts with zero experience in SFI. As you log in daily and score points daily your confidence will slowly increase and also your self esteem will start to lift up. If you have low self esteem then I would suggest you to read some self help books like 'Magic of Thinking Big', 'Think and Grow Rich', 'How to Win Friends and Influence People', 'Seven Habits of Highly Effective People', 'Megaliving', 'Three Mistakes of My Life' etc. when you have a low self esteem just read few pages of any of these books, your self esteem will skyrocket immediately.

Try to communicate with your Senior Team Leaders in your upline team. They will guide you properly and uplift you by many notches.
