Nice question and in my opinion and experience, TCredits Welcome (TW) is better than the Cash welcome (CW).

Looking into detail, it now then depends on your mode of advertising. Was it via word of mouth or through Free or Paid Advertisement. If through word of mouth, its lot easier to explain to your new affiliate that once they have joined, you will give them say, 9 t credits. With that, you can then enlighten them on our Tripleclicks online store where they can use the t credits as well as the benefits which are:-

1. Listing unwanted items in their home for as low as 1 t credit.
2. Play EZebra games where they can get MRPs, Action Points as well as a share of zackpot if they are winners.
3. Participate in Pricebenders to get household items at ridiculous prices.

Once you have informed them of the benefits, let them know the time lag necessary to redeem and use the t credits given.

The advantage of the TW is that if the affiliate you sponsored (especially if it via free or paid sites), do not use the t credit, the T credit returns to the sponsor. Inorder words, the sponsor has nothing to loose. Cost per t credit is as from $1.99 (dependent of bundles of t credit purchased).

On the otherhand, if we do Cash Welcome, the new affiliate might go to our shop and realize that he/she can’t purchase any item for a dollar. Remember, the cash welcome is an incentive to make new affiliates to take the plunge and be active from the onset. With that, the new affiliate will either:-

1. Work hard, be persistent and try and achieve his/her goal after joining.
2. Not encouraged as he/she were not able to use the cash given when joining.

Asides that, the money given for the Cash Welcome would not be refunded to the sponsor.

So I advice that you go for T credits Welcome

I prefer TCredits Welcome.

First, even if it's 1 TCredit, if spent wisely on Time Machine and wins, lots of TCredits will be gained. That's a great help. Winning is not guaranteed in Time Machine but if research is done before making a prediction, there is a possibility of winning.

Second, if an affiliate makes a listing for 1 TCredit, there's an earning upon sale.

Everyone's attracted to a cash but it is more challenging to win something. You cannot buy a TCredit for a dollar. A single TCredit costs $1.99. You cannot do a listing for a dollar. You cannot also bid for a dollar. You cannot play games for a dollar.

You can bid for 1 TCredit and win. It is not guaranteed but possible.

Spending TCredits is challenging. It gives thrill and excitement making one want more and more of SFI and TripleClicks.

I have tried both. It seems that both are excepted equally.

After some consideration I have changed mine to the TW (TCredits Welcome). I will leave it set there. The reason I have chosen this option is: 1. They will have some TCredits available to them to check games or an auction. 2. This will help them earn VP (Sometimes this concept is hard to grasp for the new affiliate) 3. If they don't use them or never log in again, I get them back.

As for the CW (Cash Welcome) I don't feel that there is much that they can do with a dollar on their commission account. Especially if they never log in again. And my two TCredits are gone forever.

I can better utilize my TCredits by giving them to active affiliates.

You see, the whole business of SFI and maintaining progress thereby revolves around earning VersaPoints (VPs) through spending TCredits to a large extent; and it is important that you let your new Affiliates know the importance of this from the onset. With this knowledge, such affiliate can work very hard around buying products that will ultimately be producing enough TCredits (and VPs) for him/her to use to acquire more VPs in the process.

If you decide to make CW (Cash Welcome) available, you will only be indulging them; and after exhausting your cash, the totally-dependent ones among them would do nothing thereafter. They will become inactive. So, you you have only ended motivating them for a very short time; and at the end, you would not have gained much from them.

But on the contrary, all affiliates in your down-line, (be they PSAs or CSAs), need to be motivated for a long-lasting time. And physical, moral & psychological supports are much better than immediate cash support.

TCredits welcome and Cash Welcome are tools to keep our new affiliates active once they join SFI. This question is asked because you can not use both at the same time, but you can shift in using them on different time.

Although I have a preference but ultimately you have to follow what work for you. To know what will work for you you need to test both. Take two campaigns either by posting paid ads or buying PSA from TripleClicks vendor.

The campaigns must be the same, then use Tcredits welcome at first and the Cash welcome on the second. See how many percent of your PSA will become active, by using your welcome Tcredits or Cash welcome.

If I will only use one of them I would use the cash Welcome. For simple reason, familiarity. Although Tcredits and cash are two currencies uses in SFI but almost all new affiliates do not know what a TCredits are. but all will know what a cash or gift certificate is.

To know is dependent on your budget and your goal: what your aim is and what you want to achieve with them. This is what will show you which is the one that would yield you the best result and the sacrifice you are ready to make with it.

Which one to choose is to know the advantages and disadvantages of each. Most people don't know what Tcredit is and its usefulness. Tcredit is not a worldwide online currency. It is just stipulated to SFI only, so new affiliates will not know the real value of the Tcredit, so may not really go for it.
But Cash welcome, they'l love it. Dollar is a universal trading currency in the world ad people know the power of the Dollar in their own currency.
Since everybody knows about the dollar, they'l love to go for it. Like Pavlov said, 'Reward is a great stimulator for a desired action'. This he experimented with animals and got it and came with the theory.
Yes, the cash may not be returned once it is issued yet it can yield great result as well.
I used this concept in my advertising campaign and i had a good response.
The Cash Welcome is a great risk that takes the strong in business to do. Risk takers are few but they are the most successful.

Hello Rania, I think it all depend on the size of your pocket. That is what you can afford.
However, if I assume money is not your problem, and your affiliates' benefits is the target,
then Cash Welcome (CW) will be better. With CW the following benefits are available to your affiliates:

1. The cash is more REAL to them than Tcredits.
2. There are products they can only purchase with cash and not Tcredits. e.g Tcredit itself, PSAs-To-Go etc
3. The amount of money you can give is not limited, but the number of Tcredits has limitation.
4. Your affiliates' goal is to earn money, depth is where the money is. Giving cash is preferred.
5. They can take advantage of deal of the day purchases (mostly 80% cheaper) using cash payment.
6. They can engage in transfer buying with cash ONLY. What is transfer buying?
- It is buying products you normally will purchase from other places from tripleClicks.com
- It is the fastest way for them to achieve monthly targeted VP without sweat.
- It earns them SFI recognized status essentially for FREE.
- It will help them maintain their SFI affiliate status each month.
7. As you know that only about 5% of new affiliates continue with SFI, the use of cash can increase the percentage.

Overall, cash at hand has it's real worth compare to cash locked up in Tcredits which is of less value.

TCredit Welcome (TW) is a very good concept. It offers incentive to new sign ups (Affliates) for them to sample and feel the fasinating and gravity pull of TripleClicks.

While Cash Welcome (CW) though the latter of the two, and instigated for the same purpose, people understand cash over tcredit and so this (CW) has a better profile and will no doubt stimulate better results than its predecessor.

I believe the better of the two is (CW) Cash Welcome because most people universal would gravitate to cash faster than tcredit which is mostly to some, of the unknown and misterious therefore usability is lower because handling is doubtful.

One however needs to make a choice of preference at the time of decision.
I prefer(CW) welcome for my new Affliates!

The TW or CW programs are designed for the same purpose to encourage activity in your network. Sometimes people are slow to invest into something they are not sure about. Both programs ensure your new PSAs that you are serious about their success and that's why you are offering assistance. Some may see these programs as a hand out and refuse to participate. Yet, I beg to differ. Encouraging your affiliates is never a hand out but a hand up. Your generosity and goodwill could be the catalyst that sparks a fire in your PSAs and now you have a partner for life.

I suggest that you try both and see which works out best for you. Don't be surprised to see that many will continue to do nothing. But for the right PSA, it will be just enough to help them get 'hooked' and grow their SFI business.

When a new person signs up with SFI it is usually because there is something about their current life they want to change. And in most cases the way they hope to make that change is by having more money available to do the things they want to do. With the Cash Welcome, you are helping them in a very practical way to make that dream come true.

Those of us who have been around SFI for some time know the value of TCredits, but to a brand new person, until they have completed their start-up learning process, they may not seem to be as valuable, whereas having a dollar added to their account helps bring SFI's promise of being able to earn right away into fruition.

I jumped on the CW bandwagon the moment I became aware of it.
