Even though the Affiliate claims he has being putting in efforts and hard work without anything worthwhile; yet it is not an irredeemable situation.

I would tell him that he needs to review what he has been doing in the light of what has been established to work. He needs to take a look at what He's doing that isn't working. Some of the things to review are these:

1. How is he sponsoring? How many Affiliates does he generate in a month? Where are these Affiliates coming from? Are they coming from social media, warm markets, or paid advertisements?
It is very likely that you may not get active Affiliates from people who were not interested in home income opportunity in the first place; who only signed to just "see". He needs to get Affiliates who have showed interest in earning extra income from home.

2. How is he following up on his downline. There is a lot of things to learn in SFI that except there is systematic follow up:Affiliates get confused or overwhelmed. Some don't even know how to start, what to concentrate on, or how the opportunity works. Some Affiliates follow up systematically with autoresponder. Some use the genealogy mails very well. So i would ask him to know if there are flaws in his follow up program.

3. Is he referring TripleClicks members? SFI is built to generate multiple streams of income: so that there would be one or a couple of income streamS working at least. If he has not explored this, he needs to. He could refer using PriceBenders auctions, Eager Zebra games, products and services etc.

4. Has he got himself trained? Did he read the "START", "BASIC" "LAUNCHPAD" and numerous "INTERNET INCOME LESSONS". Does he visits the Forum for Tips, News and Discussions? Has he exploited the resources available at "ASK SC"? If he has not done all these, his hard work or efforts may be misdirected and mean!

Having taken him through all that, I would now try to educate and motivate him about this business. He needs to understand that:

1. SFI is not a race. It is not a "get rich quick scheme". You would not likely make any significant money in the beginning. I would remind him of LaunchPad Lesson 11 .... Overnight success...NOT! I quote "We always say that if you’re not willing to give a business at least a year, don’t even bother getting involved. You must understand: It takes time to get to know all the nuances of a business. It takes time to get to know the products. It takes time to develop a game plan. It takes time to figure out what marketing activities will work best for you. See our six-step plan for reaching the top in SFI."

2. I'll tell to have a business owner mindset. When you set out on a business; it takes sometimes to break even. If you expect instant success in 6 months to one year; it may not come. A business owner works until success comes. It will take time to build a group. It takes time to find good people and teach them what they need to know. Sometimes your best people will give up and drop out. Persistence wins at the end of the day

3. I'll tell him to think long time. Many people get into an SFI with the idea that it's some kind of "easy road to riches". It's not. It takes work. It takes time and dedication. I'll tell him of the explosion that could come over the years in his downline. A time would come that even without doing anything; he has assured monthly income because of his downline. He could go on vacation as he likes because of residual and leveraged income.

I'll recommend to him, the classic book "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill and also "The Magic Of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz.
I'll tell him: If you want to become successful, you can go around the obstacles, go over, go under, or go right through them.

First of all I would tell them that all business have to start from the ground up. Second I would let them know it takes time to build a business. Third I also would let them know if they give up on the business they have already started to build then that is when it becomes for nothing. Let them know they should have a dream and work towards that dream.

I would let them know that it is not going to come over night or the next month but if they stick to what they already have built and keep builded it before they know it their dream will be here.

I would advise them to buy the Fast-Track for 20.00 if they can afford it. I would explain to them once they purchase Fast-Track they would recieve Tcerdits to play games with or to bid on and acution. Also they need to start a standing order. with these two product they have only spent 56.25 The NMP is only 20.00 and the 125 Tcredit is 36.25 I would let them know you cannot build a business without spending money. So continue to check their to-do-will continue to build their business then one day they can set back and relax.

Hi.
One of my PSAs did just that. Those who wanted to leave are doing so because of the low earnings at the start.
Secondly they suffer frustration when their team members are inactive. They send them mails yet no response. What did i do?
1. I let them see the benefits of a long term goal rather than the short term goal. I feed them with a forum article that spells this. It is the simple math of earning $2,500/month at www.sfimg.com/forum/thread?id=3402.
2. I let them see the power of little things. Everything great today started small. I let them see how small earnings can grow to become big e.g $0.79 can become $79, then $790 to $7,900 to $79,000 to $790,000 etc. It all started with $0.79!
3. I show them the avenues of making back their money. Show them more ways that they can earn e.g ECA Program, Auctions, TripleClicks Sales, CSAs commissions etc
4. I identify where his/her frustration lies and i offer my help.
Through the above i've been able to keep them going.
The fact of life is what needs to be taught. No Successful man ever became successful without learning the principle of small growth. It is the foundation of his successful business.
It is only in the grave, that you start at the top. Every living thing or enterprise began small. If they know this principle enough, they won't quit.

It depends on how long that affiliate has been in SFI.

If he has only been an affiliate less than 1 month, then I would tell him to take a week or so to re-read the Launchpads, the Compensation Plan and the Training. I would ask him to give me one more chance to help him understand. Then I would guide him in understanding SFI, because that understanding is important.

If he has been an affiliate for more than 6 months, then I would ask him specifically what has he done for his business? Ask him what sort of advertising he has done. What marketing aids has he used. Ask him his strategy. Then together we would modify his strategy if necessary. Because sometimes a certain strategy works for a certain group of people but not another.

Good question...because this situation is faced by each and every sponsor.
To be very clear,this is a business run by team work. Because the affiliates are not counseled properly before and after jpining, they expect unreaspnably from this business. But its not a lottery or a quiz show.
The decision should be gradual and he/she should be guided to have an introspection vis-a-vis the basic guidelines of SFI business.
I have noted that the more we expect, the more we are disappointed. The factual situation should only be presented at joining level so that expectations are reasonable.

However in such cases,after a fair and honest assessment, if as a leader you feel like letting him go, advise accordingly.

Just wish him well and let him go. There isn't much that you can do when he makes his mind to leave. He is the shoe wearer and he knows where it itches most.
Back to business, there is a tendency with most of us advertisers to literally go down on our knees to beg somebody to be or stay in our team. This is very wrong, because at the end of the day somebody will not get to know what SFI is all about and how he can create opportunities for himself and others.
When advertising always consider yourself like a shopkeeper who displays merchandise to the client and the client is under no obligation to buy from you. The best you can do is inform, inform and do your best in informing. As to the decision to buy or not remains with the client. This said and heard, get down to business now. Dispense information to all without segregating, stand out from the crowd and pick the right folks to continue working with and the ones to stop wasting your time with. Once this is done, proceed positively. Never waste your precious time trying to convince somebody who has already a decision to leave.

Applicable to virtually 60-70% of starters ( my opinion though), without active team members.

The truth is, this is happening on a regular and unpredictable basis. But what is evident is, having studied the whole programme set-up and concluded its real, its enough to convince anyone to hold on.

There are many active ways to remain relevant in SFI not minding the non-rewarding outcome at a particular point in time as there are no legitimate business without its challenges.

Purchases are unlimited which could generate few more excitements and could get more prospects interested.

Absolutely correct that many had to quit without notice for not having anything despite efforts and hardwork, so, the story is just becoming tactical IF the Affiliate is still saying he is going to quit, every indication that there's tendency for audience to be granted and agreeing with such and making up little incentives would help here.

Anyone that would take up this responsibility of convincing such Affiliate should have something tangible to show and should have the records of when he had such mind. At this juncture, such Affiliate needs more precise ways to earn and deep details of how it has worked for early Affiliates.

Personally I would let him/her go, he/she already decided it. I am not a business martyr who should convince people, who don't want to work and learn to go on the path I'm already with others, who want to make things work for them. I always lead by example, share everything I achieved so far with my team and I also don't have a lot coming from my hard work and effort. So what? I can do the things work. Everyone can do it, but only if he/she has the will and persistence to do so. If not, everyone is free to go on his/her own path in life.I have already told my story to my team. Those who stand by my side prove every month they're serious about the business.They are my friends and those, who already left still are my friends. I think we have all been faced with this issue, if not, you can be sure that
you will, so with that being said, I tell my PSAs instead of quitting (opting out),
which when opting out you are also removed from TripleClicks, you no longer
have access to the games and auctions as a member, I tell them
to just walk away from SFI for awhile, then come back and give it another
serious look. Too often the reason for wanting to quit is that they don't
really understand how SFI works.
Some come back within a few weeks, others may take a longer time and others
may never come back.
I am sure there are many other answers to this question, I am just giving what
has worked for me.

Some people expect results without effort. Many people have the idea that when you start an internet business it should be on outo mode and work by it self without doing anything for it. As for your PSA saying all the effort they are putting in and no result can be HOW MUCH IS TO MUCH EFFORT. It takes time to built a solid business. People will go to work 8-10 hours a day for $7 an hour but, expect instant huge income of the internet the moment they sign up. Life is not that way. There is no FREE LUNCH.
All takes time. I would try to find out what the person have done to get going and call effort. Try guide the person in the right direction. Personally it took me 2 years to have a POSITIVE income. Some people do it much faster. I found ECA shop was my thing. I connected with more people I knew existed. Don't give up on your PSA. They are your best resources.
