Here are 5 ways that leaders can help members become a STAR.

1. Understand the importance of building a strong Team.
- Leaders can better explain the steps to build a strong team when we understand the process. Share tips on what you experienced as you developed a portfolio of contacts and describe a few hurdles he or she will need to overcome. For example, provide a summary of actions to successfully schedule an appointment with an extremely busy person.

2. Get to know your team. Having an understanding of your team will provide knowledge about career aspirations and other areas of interest. The more you know about your team members, the better prepared you will be to assist them.

3. Engage team members in role-play to help them get comfortable with the idea of talking to a complete stranger. People tend to be reluctant when interacting with strangers. To reduce anxiety, create scenarios that reflect possible interactions during a discussion. Following the role-play, offer advice on steps to demonstrate effective communications. For example, simulate the process of a successful introduction and major points to mention within the first minute of the discussion.

4. Leverage your network to assist your team. Leaders typically have a number of people within their team that are willing to learn, encourage them to utilize the different resources to get to know the different aspects of growing and
do the duplication process.

5. Follow up. Set periodic check-ins with team members to determine progress. Of course, this shows that you care about your team! Follow up will include action plans discussed, progress the team has made, and next steps. You will want to observe significant milestones that your team member has made. Celebrate each success! Also discuss any challenges so that the team member may create new action plans. Be sure your team member keeps a journal or record of accomplishments.

There are many ways that leaders can assist members with building a strong team. The above steps are just a few that leaders can take to help team members develop skills required to build a successful business.

I have a question for you. How can you tell a good tree from a bad one? The answer is by their fruits. So how can you tell apart a star from a failure? You observe their actions.

Here are somethings to look at.

E365: If your affiliate gets very high versapoints and stays above the green line and completes all the rounds you know definitely that he/she will make the finals. Then in a couple of months you server high points chances are this person will probably be the champion.

Daily Grand: See the winners list to see which of your affiliates show up there. And you will know if they enter it very often.

VP ledger: SFI provides you this and other tools to use in order to look at their activities and the points they get. You can tell by the actions especially the red tabs to see if they understood the basics then you will know who has a solid foundation and who doesn't.

Your emails: SFI notifies you when your PSA or CSA sponsored an

or got a TC member, or any other milestone that they achieve. So you do the math.

Badges: It is not just about quantity but quality. You can identify a star by looking at the VP streak badge,EA streak, Standing Order and so on. You can also see if your affiliates are ECA or top enrollers or if they achieved fast track or won the leadership challenges.

Stream posts and leadership pages. You can see their posts in order to know how much they have learned. You also look at their leadership pages to see if they always keep it up to date.

So you see these are the fruits that will tell you the difference between a good tree and a bad tree. I hope. This information is useful.

I have more than one thousand PSA's and only seven are active. From these seven you can immediately identify their common skills that I believe made them a star in SFI.

This skills are what I am also looking for from my new affiliates.

1. Recruiting Skills - They know how to find affiliates- They are aggressive in recruiting affiliates online and offline. They know how to do internet marketing. When you check the genealogy using the filter "sponsor's ID", and plug in their ID, immediately you see that they have affiliates under them.

2. Coaching and mentoring skills - aside from having affiliates in their early stage, you will also receive questions related to duplication. They will usually pass on to you questions from their own affiliates.

3. Communication Skills - they are sending messages, chatting with his affiliates and giving tips and instruction to his affiliates. Persuading and encouraging them.

4. Online Transaction Skill - They at least know how to transact online. Like have buying online

This can only be achieved by establishing a trust relationship between you and your downlines that will eventually lead them to open up to you about what they feel they are gifted in...

Secondly but related to the above, as you continually interact with your downlines, you get to start identifying what keeps on coming up in your email concersations with your downline, hence their interests.

Thirdly, make it a habit to look at your downlines' badges, if your affiliate seems to only have game badges forexample, it will show you that may be gaming is a strong point for that downlime so you focus on that,

Last but not least you can make mention of some particular sfi and tripleclicks activities and then wait and see the reaction that comes out of your downline, this will show you your affiliates strong points and weak ones

This is an interesting question.

Firstly, you need to listen to your PSA's 'talk'. When you communicate with each other you can find out a lot about him. Then you can give him support and good advice.

All people have merits and demerits. Often it is a fault in one case, a virtue in another. For example, your PSA is very, very talkative. Talkative people are usually boring, but in these people are real 'wonder maker' in the warm marketing. Or, if someone is shy and withdrawn - then what? Placing advertisements on the net, SFIPPA and chat via e-mail is the best solution for this problem.

No skilled people and unskilled people - all this is only our perspective. Get rid of the prejudices and you'll see that the PSA is full skills that they themselves are not aware of.

Take a chance with any of them. Give a chance to everyone.

Great question and not one easy to answer... but for me, the biggest traits/skills I look for are

1) Interest - sounds silly, but they first have to be interested - so many people never log in again after their first day. I often look in my genealogy to see who has logged in since their join date.
2) "Eagerness" - hard to quantify, but basically do they have a desire to learn? Are they asking you questions? Are they going through the LaunchPad series? These things will tell you if they are really serious about SFI.

That's the hard part - just identify the ones that are serious, and encourage them, and they can be successful in SFI.

1. From the very day you sign them up, they achieve fast track without much stress, they ask to know what they should do and should not do so in case you are not available to help them at the instant they need your guidance so they won't get stuck.
2. They log in daily and you always see them in your movers tab
3. You don't have to remind them to do their standing order.
4. They read and achieve other SFI badges even without your guidance and also teach same to their PSAs same.

The first step is to decide what those skills are. Make a list of items such as what type of badges to look for such as VP streak, EA streak, winner badges, reviews made, forum posts, etc. The badges give you insight as to the activity of the affiliate every month. If they are on an EA streak, that is an indication that they are strong with their activities. If they are winning in several games, they are active with TripleClicks. If they are constantly in the forum posts, they are feeding their minds with all things related to SFI and that shows a potential leader. If you create a list of everything you would consider helpful for an affiliate to make it to the next level, you can use that list to measure each person and decide what is lacking so you can help them.

Whether they have the skills when they start or not is not really important - what they don't know they will learn as they discover SFI's lessons. What you have to identify is whether they are serious or not.

The skills they already have does not need to be developed, it is the ones they do not have that they need to learn and develop.

Some people have skills that comes naturally and others that they have to learn and put some effort into. Let me use myself as an example. My natural brain profile is very much right sided. I just understand people and languages better than mathematics and logic thinking. Then I found myself in a very left sided job and guess what? I learned the skills I need to not only do my job, but do it well. Why did I manage to learn it? Because I am serious about my job and I am serious about not doing the minimum or delivering an average performance.

If your affiliates are serious they will ask you how to do things if they don't know how to do it. So don't concentrate on what they can do, concentrate on what they can not do by answering their questions.
