Definitely you should not advice to slow down or not to become a Team Leader. No need to tell them to go slow because if PSA doesn’t have enough money it causes automatic slow down. We already know that 1st month it’s easy to get 1500VP to hold EA status but it is one kind of impossible in the second month to get EA2 status. One can become a Team Leader after EA2 status which needed to expense some money in own currency. Team Leader status started with Bronze Team Leader (BTL), Silver Team Leader (STL), Gold Team Leader (GTL), Platinum Team Leader (PTL) and final one is Diamond Team Leader (DTL). The higher the rank the higher to get the benefit is. Bellow is the summarization of the benefits:

1. Team Leaders comment’s are highly valuable in SFI
2. Team Leaders are getting maximum benefits from SFI and TripleClicks as per rank.
3. Team Leaders can guide and lead their down line Team Leader with personal experience.
4. Team Leader rank goes with the duplication which is one of the most important
compensation out of 3

As we know “Leaders are Readers”; Team Leaders should read from “LAUNCHPAD”, SFI Basics and all training materials which is provided by SFI. Keep eyes always in the “Forum”. Give answer of someone’s asking if you know. This are the criteria’s to be a leadership.

I don't think that there is a "one size fits all" answer to this question. It really depends on the affiliate concerned.

On the one hand, rank without understanding how SFI works isn't going to help you a lot.

Sure you'll get some CSA's but unless you know how to support them you're not going to be much use to them. Also, even though it's relatively easy to become a team leader in your first month this could lead to disappointment in the following months when you can't maintain that rank. We don't want disappointed affiliates.

On the other hand you may well have found that diamond you've been searching for, someone who has an understanding of how an affiliate program works, someone who is an advertising wizz, someone who is going to leave you behind in their dust.

This type of person needs to be given free rein and allowed to expand as fast as they want.

If you try and rein this person in you'll also risk having a disappointed affiliate.

So you see what I mean about not being a "one size fits all" answer?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer for everyone. When you see one of your affiliates headed in that direction, ie plowing through all of the free points and climbing the ranks, you should begin to ask them questions. Help them to create a plan based upon their answers. If Team Leader status is where they want to be from their first month, and they feel that they can sustain a Team Leader level, then let them work their business as they see fit. You can provide them with the reasons that you feel this is not a good idea but for those who are determined to do it their way, there is no stopping them.

My first month I was aiming for Bronze team leader and ended up becoming a Platinum Team Leader first month. This is my third month and I am not quitting, I have not allowed my level to slide down to EA status, nor do I intend to. Each month I create a plan of action to elevate my level to Bronze Team Leader and then I work towards that goal. In the three months that I have been with SFI my team has grown to over 250 members. Most of those are second home CSA's but a few of them are actually aiming higher than I am and making commissions for me. I have also recruited 17 PSA's using various methods.

One Team Leader in the forum said that when he got his crop of Second Home CSA's his income went up to over $100 per month. Had he not qualified as a Team Leader there would have been no Second Home CSA's for him and that income would have gone to some other ambitious Team Leader. My point is that there are benefits to qualifying as a team leader and that some people have higher aspirations and goals than you do, you shouldn't try to hold everyone to your specific standard, levels, or goals. Just make sure that you offer support and advice for each of your affiliates and allow them to seek their own levels.

Being a Team Leader sooner or later, to me, really depends on certain circumstances that would justify it. While we all have the tendency to be enthusiastic to achieve a prestigious rank in the SFI organization, we must examine the very purpose for which that rank or position in the hierarchy of the organization would serve.
Going through our training lessons, we were admonished that growing a business with SFI is not a sprint or a race. We need not go so fast. Our business must develop or evolve naturally with the basic foundations in place relative to, say, men, money, method and machines. These management concepts would require of us to study and understand how SFI works, its vision of the future, its policies and plans, the support resources it provides, its program of incentives and rewards, marketing strategies, etc. At this learning stage also requires of us to cultivate the attitude of patience, perseverance, even resiliency and determination, not to give up even in the wake of natural calamities. Most importantly, I believe, honest business ethics should prevail over all aspects.
These are the areas of duplication that each of us must honestly discern and, or build capability on in order to proceed with the business. When the learning process would have already built in us the confidence of pursuing growth and success in this business, then one can aspire to seek leadership positions in a higher level.
If as Team Leader, and through your own evaluation, your PSAs have demonstrated by actual performance on these capabilities, skills and attitudes, then by all means encourage them to go beyond EA.
However, I would emphasize, the pitfalls of leadership without an actual Team organization, ie. at least the recommended three to five active EA2s to support. To my mind, having an active Team should be the measure of, and a proud achievement for, one to enjoy the fruits of the new status. He must deserve it as a responsibility to reflect the true image of leadership.—

Just let them be. Their actions reflects their actives. And that is a good sign rather than sign ups getting silence after their sign ups.

If it happens, they became Team Leaders, that was a good sign too. It builds their confidence to try reach that level again and work hard to it.

As Team Leaders, we received more benefits, holds more responsibility and learns a better Entreprenuer course level.

There is quite a big difference between an Affiliate level or Executives. Benefits and compensation plan will read out their differences well.

So, don't stop them.
You are blessed to have an active team leader soon while keep growing your team.

For me what is important is to tell the PSAs the importance of knowing the business i.e read all what is there to know about the business.

Be honest in advising if they seek clarity from you. As for the pace in which they want to work it is upon each individual PSA.

I do not think it is for us to advise for or gaits any speed they want to work from and towards. The size of the shoe is theirs, some of the PSA are enthusiastic with the business they want be at the top quickly so let us let them be so as the slow once let us help them using their pace, our ultimate goal is for all to become successful business entrepreneurs in their own rights and by so doing we all succeed.

Identification of PSAs' drive/ self motivation is vital, after few minutes of interaction, one would have a likely picture of who the PSA is, its on this that one begins,

Its really good to advance fast but it all depends on the knowledge acquired about the PSA. If the PSA has been someone vast in internet marketing, who can really generate lots of traffic to move his business, there's no need to hide the truth about benefits he stands to gain in the speed.

Also bear in mind that the speed we are talking about is the amount in cash that one can invest. For a PSA, who after understanding the existence of the E365 Contest, can decide whether its really worthwhile or not.

Truth is, whatever is invested in SFI is not a waste, its almost like a conversion to trade with its system. Tcredits bought, Tcurrency acquired, MRPs, Standing Order ( S.O ) and so on are all very useful and purchase of any of these cannot be useless but will empower one's business and allow good business flexibility.

On the other hand, if the PSA is one who cant really afford the spendings or trains team members so fast, its advisable to gradually develop his team and enjoy the bearable platform SFI provides.

1. Well, it’s a very thought provoking & challenging question!
2.My advice would depend on how motivated, active my PSAs are as well as the number of active EA-2 PSAs under their respective down lines..
3. I would never ask an affiliate who takes on the initiative without any motivation from my side to slow down. I do not think it is wise to slow down a self-motivated person who is leading and taking initiative on his own. This could possibly lead to discouragement and cause him/her to lose interest.
4. Therefore,it would be wiser to step back and watch. See what your PSAs are doing, and allow them to explore. Just be available for them when they have questions, monitor their Versa Ledgers and offer suggestions to help them.
5. There are areas of duplication that each of our PSAs must honestly discern and then build capability on in order to proceed with the business. When the learning process would have already built in our PSAs the confidence of pursuing growth and success in this business, then they can be encouraged to seek leadership positions in a higher level.
6.If as a team leader,I find my PSAs have demonstrated by actual performance on these capabilities, skills and attitudes,then by all means I will encourage them to go beyond EA-2. “During you first 30 days you should learn about our business using our training material in the Affiliate Center. During your second 30 days you should practice sales for TripleClicks products and form a team around the purpose of selling products” would be what I say to interested prospects.

In case your affiliate already had a successful network in some other business, chances are they know what they are doing and what they are trying to achieve a lot better than inexperienced PSA’s. In that case I would leave them to do what they want. In case your affiliate is inexperienced, you should consider what I’m about to say.

After once becoming a team leader without a team in SFI and letting it go eventually, after almost a year has passed since, I would have to say with most certainty- there is no point in becoming a team leader without a stabile team.

Having team leadership as a goal by itself is not productive. Team leadership should be a product of successful earning results for you and your members.

Perks and benefits of becoming a team leader are truly valuable, but they can not compensate investment in sales and action points required if it is coming directly from personal investment.

So, my answer is- YES, you should advice them to slow down. In fact, I would advice them like that before they reach one critical point: achieve sales at TripleClicks.

Why? Because, even if they find 5, 10, 15, 20 active people, that is still not a stabile team. A team is stabile when your first level of affiliates begins to earn more than they are investing.

Most current team leaders may not like what I would say next, because I see a lot of them talking dominantly of “generating EA/EA2” members as a key point of SFI success. I disagree with that. You don’t generate anything. Generating means doing something directly that produces results for you. You either teach your team members to become EA2 by selling products at TripleClicks, or they do that by purchasing Standing Orders or with other personal investments.

And there is a key difference in a way your members become EA2. If they become EA2 by sales, they earn. They will respect you and they will stay.

If you build a team based on Standing Order or personal investments as method of maintaining EA2, and severely neglect TripleClicks sales as a method of earning, your network will crumble sooner or later.

Your network, your PSA’s network- anyone’s network. There is no way around that, I see it happen every day.

So, rather than just focusing your work around team leadership on it’s own, focus your work in spending time with your PSA’s in showing them how to:
a. find a convertible advertising media/panels/websites
b. plan a successful paid advertising campaign
c. become a webmaster of successful business website
d. become a webmaster of successful sales website

The hardest thing is to tell a new affiliate to slow down when they are at the beginning and want to make progress in their new business.
But I think it's very important the moment when they joined the SFI.
If it is on the end of the month, it is enough to collect 1500VP till the end of first month required for EA, and next month, if he starts advertising and building team, he can easily become a leader.
But if he joined at the beginning of the month, then you should follow him. If he finds himself quickly in this business, starts with advertising and building a team, he can easily become a leader on the same month. But if he is a bit slower, then it is much better to use the first month for the entire marketing training.
We are all different, and therefore each affiliate requires special treatment.
