Please, pay close attention, and read with all concentration everything I have written.

First, I will assume that, your idea of success is that one has not wasted one’s time in sfi by a certain frame of time, but that one has started seeing marks of, most probably, financial improvements, which is the main reason most of us came to sfi!?

Secondly, I assume that you are not seeing bumper harvest of thousands of dollars flowing into your account after the first one, two, three OR even ten days of joining sfi. This is because sfi is not one of those GET-RICH-QUICK schemes that many present, only to run away with your money. SFI is a real business.

Finally, by saying “What are the best ways”, you are asking for what and what one is supposed to do to achieve success, and the things one can see which mean success.

1. If you came into sfi because your monthly salary is not taking you through the woods, and you needed something extra to augment what you normally receive, then I believe that by the time you start earning, at least, a hundred dollars, you can say you have started achieving success. Isn’t it?
2. No one earns money without working for it, and if all of us are doing the same work, then the more one stays at it, the more money one makes. So you must be serious minded and business oriented towards everything you do in sfi.
3. Everyone knows that no one starts a business today and expect a bumper wealth the next day. So, one has to give a good-enough period of time to expect financial flow.
4. We will also assume that one knows the work one is supposed to do, that one is doing it well, doing it correctly and doing it religiously.

Now in sfi there are four basic things you are supposed to do (see sfi BASICS on your sfi homepage)
• Do those four things with zeal.
• Do your daily actions on your TO-DO-LIST everyday.
• Invest some affordable amount to buy a monthly Standing Order.
• Get, at least 5 serious minded achievers as downlines. (It can be more).
• Teach them to do the same thing.
• Get, at least, 5 industrious CSAs. (It can be more).
• In addition to that, you can simply start directing people to buy things at TripleClicks, and that is 45% for you there, on the profit margin of whatever they buy, plus more!
• Give yourself some three months of serious input of hard work. During those three months, try and qualify as an EA the first month, Repeat that qualification the second month to become EA2, and make every effort to qualify as a BTL the third month.
• Then you will begin to tell a story of whether sfi has spelt success for you or not from then on.

Dear Laura,

It looks like the core of your question is – “how to improve your communication skills”.

To me, I feel there is nothing that cannot be achieved in this life if you make efforts at them.
The way you have put this question, is in itself one proof of the fact that you already have the skill of communication, but maybe you thought you don’t.
However, for the purpose of this question, let’s suppose you don’t have, and you now want to learn how to communicate well with your downline. I’ll suggest a few points:

1. You can start by making use of SFI’s Tailor-made communications with your Team. Study also how those pieces are structured, and use them as materials to learn how to write like that.

2. You can also buy a book or two on EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION or PUBLIC SPEAKING, and use them to learn the art of communication. In addition to that, obtain a dictionary for proper GRAMMAR & WORD usage.

3. Another means is to make use of the SK-SC portion of SFI, to study how people communicate and express themselves. Then attempt to emulate them.

4. SFI FORUM is another area. There you join a group of people who make attempts at solving problems in SFI. Study the art of communication there and make your own attempts at solving some of the problems.

5. Finally, one other good means is to join local clubs, study how people communicate there, and make efforts to offer few relevant speeches there yourself.

Let them understand the major benefit they will receive by taking part, and that is helping to quicken the brain to desire to have broad knowledge about things happening in this world.

Things are moving very fast in the 'now' world, and we've got to keep pace in order to be abreast with each page. Other than that we will soon be overwhelmed with with how much we don't know, and that in itself is overwhelmingly frustrating.

Teach them also not to get discouraged when they are knocked out. After all it is only a game, and they are learning what they need to know, anyway, isn't it? Because even when they are knocked out, they can still continue to learn from the rest of the questions that follow, and no one will ask them 'WHY'!

As far as I see it, the question is not so much really about having team members to TAKE ON leadership role, as much as it is about the fact that it is IMPERATIVE upon them to TAKE UP leadership role, if they want to succeed in sfi by personally recruiting affiliates into their team.

If you study the workings of sfi, you will find that the fastest way to succeed in sfi is to personally introduce more affiliates into your team. People, who have a great desire to earn more money, so that they can improve their way of life. Such are the once who will want to know what they should do to achieve their aim.

This is where the team member comes in. He should TAKE UP the responsibility of quickly helping them to know what and what they should do, and should be doing daily to achieve their aim. This simple act of teaching them to know their way is what is called LEADERSHIP ROLE. It should be a strong and dedicated desire by the team member, because when he does his best for these affiliates to succeed, he succeeds as well. You realize, therefore, that this is a win-win situation which team members MUST NEVER take lightly; and this is why it is IMPERATIVE upon them to do so.
