How do you prevent people from preying on your downline and convincing them to join other programs?

BE AN AWESOME SPONSOR is key.

You cannot stop people from advertising and trying to get your people from joining other programmes.

What you can do is to ensure that your people are sold on SFI.
Be the best sponsor that you could be. Help them to achieve success in SFI as soon as possible. The longer they are with SFI and don't seem to be getting anywhere the more likely they will look at other programmes.

I suspect that most people join SFI for the money

The topic of other people preying upon your downline and how to prevent it has several facets.

1) The cross-solicitor uses various come-ons to get others to join outside affiliate businesses. These businesses may look innocent enough, but they will take time, money, and effort away from the SFI business of your downline member, and from your business as his money is siphoned off away from his TC purchases and shares of your co-op, while putting money in the predator's pocket.

It seems after reading this question that either a) someone from downline has informed the sponsor that they have been approached by other programs to join or b) the downline is not happy with their current growth in SFI and is considering joining others.

In case of a what maximum a sponsor can do is to find out why the downline has got attracted towards the other program. This cannot be done over a2a platform or inside SFI communication channels. The communication has to be personal

Hi Felix,

Thanks for asking this question, as many of us have been faced with this situation at one time or another with A2A friends who send random requests then inbox asking for your e-mail address from which they can present you and/or others with opportunities other then SFI. It clearly states within the affiliate agreement that such interaction is strictly prohibited and should be immediately reported as Cross Solicitation.

The only possible way to keep your downline from being snatched is to constanlly keep them informed about following:
-advertising another businesses within SFI community is not allowed and if they follow another non-ethical leader, they are in risk of being used against their own interest.
-internet scams are rising,and they can never know for sure whether they are putting themselves in financial risk when they take another offer.

The a2a friends open a door in our SFI downlines to other SFI members outside our organization. It is one of the disadvantage of a2a friends where we are open to cross solicitation.

You can not prevent them because it is an act of the other party which is beyond your control BUT you can defend against them from making negative impact to your downline.

One thing we can do is to warn our downlines that cross-solicitation is prohibited here at SFI. Tell them to report those

One of the most unfortunate features of business on the internet is that along with attracting legitimate business people, it also attracts scammers, pretenders and individuals who do not wish to follow certain rules. Unfortunately, there is no way for you to keep people from trying to prey on your downline. This concept of cross-solicitation is disallowed here at SFI based on the Affiliate Agreement presented to everyone who joins here and any steps made to disregard this rule should be reported

Well my thought on how to take preventive measures to stop people from preying on your downline or cross soliciting as well as convincing them to join other programs will be as follow:

Whenever we come across it the best bet is to highlight it to SFI

While we can't control what our downline does in regard to other programs and businesses, we can certainly be a great SFI role model. We have the opportunity to be a role model every time we send out a team message or communicate directly.

As we have no control over other people’s actions, we can warn our downlines what to do when they get emails from these people, or they get approached by them personally to convince them to join their business.
