Hi All,

What I would do if one of my team members or a2a friends asked me a question and I did not know the answer was, I did the research on the question.

I used the Glossary at https://www.sfimg.com/Support/index?category=26444&folder=52454

or I would check in the Training at https://www.sfimg.com/Training/

or I would just search the subject they were asking about. Learn all I could about the subject and than I would share the information.

I also use the Search Bar at the top of each page for quick reference.

If the question was a Support problem, I would send in a ticket and ask the question.

Sometimes I also used the forum to find answers to questions that were asked from my team members.

If you do the research yourself, you will find that by helping your team members, you are also helping yourself to learn more. This is in some sort of way a Win/Win for both you and your team member. You are helping them to solve their problem while at the same time, you are learning something new also.

There is an answer for just about all questions relating to SFI and Tripleclicks somewhere within all of the information that is available to use. We just have to research it, unless of course it is a support problem.

As a complete new novice to the internet and SFI, I found that the best way to give a team member the correct answer if you yourself are not sure, is by a number of various ways.

Ask your up line. Your Sponsor, your Co-sponsor or even higher up line in your team found on your Myy Acct tab.

Go to the Site Map under the Support tab on your Home Page.

Check through questions and answers on ASK SC as it is a fountain of knowledge with a multitude of various subjects.

Put your question to the Forum as affiliates are extremely helpful and will do their best to give you the information you need.

Join A2A and ask experienced affiliates to share their knowledge.

There are so many different ways to ask and confirm the correct answer but after you have tried many of these and if you are still not satisfied with the answers you have, then submit the question to SFI SUPPORT. They are a great team and even though they may be very busy, be patient and they will get back to you with the information you need.

It would be good to do some personal research when faced with such a situation, especially if the question is on something generic (e.g. the relative merits of various advertising avenues). Encouraging the team member to do his/her own research would also help him/her build up confidence and independence. However, if faced with time constraints, the following options could also be tapped:

(1) Post the question (as you have done) on Ask SC. Experienced and knowledgeable members of the SFI Community will share their views. At the very least, there can be some very constructive brainstorming.

(2) Visit the SFI Forum. Your question (or something similar) may have been asked and answered previously; if so, you can use those answers or adapt them to your use. If your question is unique, post it on the Forum and have others answer it for you.

(3) Submit a ticket to SFI Support.

(4) Ask your sponsor and/or co-sponsor. If they also do not have the answer, ask other members of your upline.

(5) If all else fails, ask SFI's founder, Mr Gery Carson. Use the 'Ask Gery' link (last link on the 'Training' drop-down menu) to access an archive of questions previously answered by Mr Carson.

Ultimately, it would be good to encourage your team member to utilise the above avenues (either with you or independently), so that he/she knows what to do should such a need arise again in future.

But, kidding aside, you do. The answer is at the top of this page: Your affiliate center page.

1. On the top right of the page you have the search window. Just enter any keyword, you will be taken to the right place.

2. Below the search window, you are the link to your sponsor. However, he/she may not be readily available to help you.

3. Down, you have "Support". The drop down menu is all about finding the right answers to an affiliate's questions. When you click on "Support", it opens to give you the index, the glossary, the tickets, your upline, the link to contact SFI, and so on.

4. The forum is well suited for seeking input other affiliates with a diversity of opinions.

5. And lastly, you have Ask SC, and you rightly used it for even a greater diversity.

You did well actually for asking this question.

One important note to conclude. It is worth teaching your affiliates to be self-reliant. By this, I mean, show them how to find the answers to their own questions.

This has advantages. They will be independent and they will duplicate this to their own team members. Thus, you are actually building a team of strong affiliate who will strive to be excellent team leaders themselves.

I am going to answer your question by sharing my own experience, a few months ago my CSA asked me a question that I didn't know the answer to. He asked me what payment methods can he use to buy products on Tripleclicks because in his country none of the payment options offered by TC are not available. I wrote an email to the support team and they told me two possibilities, one is TCurrency account and the other Localpay they even gave me links from here on SFI to read and get answers to this question.

I then did my own research in the affiliate center on the tips tab I looked in the "Tips" tab and clicked on the links in the powertips section and I found allot of useful articles that I copied and pasted and sent them to my CSA via email. I even gave him the answer given to me by the support team, so I didn't just answer this question in one email but every time I found a tip in the tips tab or I looked up the FAQ section or glossary I would share it with him.

My answer to your question is to check out the powertips, FAQ, and affiliate tips and even the tips tab to see if you find the answer to any specific question your affiliate asks, and you can even contact the support team like I did.

A very good question, comes up almost every few days and good that it has finally appeared here.

SPS (Systematic Problem Solving, a discipline in process engineering) tells us that in over 90% of the cases the solution to a problem lies in front of us. This only requires that we open our eyes and look at what is in front of us to find the solution. Only in the case of the remaining 10 % do you really need to go "outside the box". Look around your webpages, the various leads provided by SFI, and there a re plenty of them, to see if you find anything.

And do not forget one recent new addition by SFI, namely the "looking for something" drop window at the top of the page.

As it is SFI has lots and lots of clues on how you can go about your work, searching can be difficult to a newcomer, but not too difficult for someone who has played around with the SFI system even just a little bit.

This is where your habit of being all over the place will help keep you abreast of the latest info. So login daily and keep poking around for some time after you complete your daily work and before you log off. This will retain your familiarity with that page and alert you to any changes that might have gone unobserved.

I would suggest you then look up the forum, the ASK SC (this) Section and if you still don't get your answer, then you contact:

1. Your Sponsor, and
2, Support in that order.

Do keep your team member originating the query copied on any mail you exchange with others on the subject.

And yes, once you have your answer, don't forget to share it with all team members.

That should do it.

I recommend you do the following in order:

1) Use SFI's search function. Try different "key words" and scan the search suggestions that "drop down" until you find something worth clicking to investigate.

2) Use SFI's forum search function. Try and use very specific "key words" to reduce your search time.

3) Use Google search if the question is "not" SFI specific.

4) Ask your direct sponsor for suggestions.

5) Ask members of your upline for suggestions.

For 99% of the questions you'll receive from team members the above 5 strategies are all you need! However, the most effective advice I can give you is that when you answer your team members do so in a way that teaches them what to do to find the answer. Don't just give them answers! Tell them what you did, where you went and how you arrived at the answer. Help your affiliates to become team leaders so they can duplicate the process.

I personally hit the surf bar on my SFI home page. If needed I check through Ask SC and the help desk, and if I still don't have the answer or want more explanation I hit the SFI Forum. Between those elements I have been able to handle all non support ticket required questions directly related to SFI.

If the question is more marketing in general and not covered in the Internet Income lessons, or through any of the links within them I will hit my favorite search engines and focus in on blog search to see what industry experts are saying. I will seek forums online to see immediate community feedback and discussion when a answer could be any of several answers.

I will then take what I know and look to see if there is a Youtube Video that maybe walks the team member through the process or makes it easier to understand. But the one thing I never do is tell them you might look here, maybe look there and leave them hanging. You are the one who is being looked to for support, nourish that and be the person capable of finding the answers who is in depth and makes sure the question author get's more than enough data to solve their problem.

In time you might even be able to spout these thoughts of the top of your head because everything you look up for your teammate is another thing that you yourself will learn.

I will go quick to the forum and post the question. Next I will go to Ask Sc and type the question in search box. When a lot of answers will come out I read it quickly and choose one or more, copy and paste in a word document. Save and keep it

Again I will go to forum and I am sure a lot of answers were posted already to my question. I will check and tally it with my saved word document copy

Try to contact with my Sponsor/Co-Sponsor/Upline Leader those who are available over chat. Ask them the answer of the question. When they replied, I will also tally it with my saved word document. I will make some addition/alteration, if needed

Wow! A proper and correct answer is now ready to serve which was asked by my Team member. Now I will send it to use email, Team Mail, PSA/CSA Mailer, Genealogy Group Mailer to my Team member

I am really very pleased now to send a proper and correct answer of the question of my Team member

The knowledge base in SFI is like an ocean and never will have the dearth of solutions too to any of the questions related to SFI.

Very often, I experience these kinds of difficulties but I never get worried or get panic because I know, there is always a second option to get the solution or an answer.

Whenever I face the difficulties in answering to my downline’s queries, first, I will go to my upline leaders to get the suitable and appropriate answer from them. In certain cases, they will also be in two thoughts about the right answers or solutions to be provided. In such circumstances, I will go to my competent A2A friends and they will provide the best solutions the way they can.

One thing I am sure, even if I don’t receive the answers from any of them, there is the Biggest Sponsor for everybody in SFI and we can go to that sponsor always for solutions and will never disappoint us. The name of such an awesome sponsor is SFI Forum. In Forum, we get apt, superb and the best answers from the numerous scholars and experts over there.
