Hey Gary,

You will get lots of answers telling you about how you can work your team to make money. Whilst this is the ultimate aim of us all I don't believe this answer the fundemental question of becoming a "Team Leader"

Obviously to become a Team Leader you need to have a team.

Leadership though is not about working your team for your benefit. It's about providing support and education to benefit them. Only if your team becomes successful will you see any success.

Make your journey with SFI about helping other people not just yourself.

Communicate regularly, keep tabs on what your movers are up to, learn about your team members, be there for them 24/7. Make these people your friends and they will follow you to the end of the earth.

Remember, there's no I in team.

*Listen to others*
Even though you are the team leader and you make the decisions, you should always ask people what their opinion is. Try to incorporate them whenever it's feasible. You aren't a dictator.

*Take in others' suggestions*
When someone gives you an idea, work on it. Think of how you can improve on it. A good leader is one that listens and not just talks. Show the team you are flexible to consider their thoughts.

*Include everyone*
If some people are a little left behind, help them. Always try to include them. Find a task for everyone no matter what their skill or level.

*Encourage your team*
Sometimes people are scared to try something and this is where the leader comes in. You have to encourage your team mates and show them that the task is possible, even if difficult, and try to make it fun for them. Show them the positive results of their work.

*Know what you are talking about*
If your teammates are as confused as you are, how will they know what to do? As the leader, you must do the research first, or have the most information.

*Enjoy being a leader*
Even though leaders have to take things seriously, there is no reason you can't have fun. Just don't get too carried away. Balance the serious business at hand with regard for the morale and spirits of the team.

*Pay attention to morale*
A demoralized team won't function. You must set the positive spirit, make the goals clear, show how the job is feasible and possible. No one will work for an impossible goal.

If possible, choose members of your team who can work well together. If this isn't possible, your job is to mentor the weakest member, help him become better in the team. Use peer help-- assign your stronger member as a partner with a weak person and let him demonstrate how to do the job.

From Affiliate to Executive Affiliate(EA) as a Team Leader, you need to get 1500 versa points to qualify as EA from Getting Started Actions(SFI Basics, Launchpad), Daily, Weekly, Monthly tasks, and Tripleclicks. To maintain your rank as a Team Leader(TL) for the following month as EA2, you need to earn minimum 1500 versa points by doing the Daily, Weekly, Monthly tasks and purchase of Tripleclicks or S- Builder co-op as Standing Order.
Secondly, you need to build a team consisting of new affiliate(PSAs) and EAs. To build up a team, you need to recruit affiliates through purchasing from ECA, winning bidding in auction, advertising through S-Builder co-op and referrals.
As a Team Leader, you have to be familiar with the necessary tools provided by SFI to develop your business. With these knowledge you will be able to lead the team. Lead by example. Motivate your team. Communicate regularly with your downline. Render assistance where it is required.

- read and apply SFI training and internet lessons

- take affiliates, earn CSAs, refer ECAs, buy, sell, advertise and promote

- to be team leader you need 3000 versapoints as:

- 2000 sales VP + 1000 action VP

or - 1500 sales VP + 1500 action VP

To become a Team Leader status - I have found it to be beneficial to model or do what you say. When you do what you say - you become a model for others to want to be around based on honesty and integrity.

Leaders are only able to lead others once he/she is able to lead self effectively. Leading your self first will show others that you have challenges and yet have found ways to over come challenges.

When you have the above traits, I find that people will gravitate to you thus creating a team for you to lead.

SFI team creation is based on the same concept - inorder to maintain Team Leader status every month you will most definitely need to model what you want downline members to do such as but not limited to monthly membership to IAHBE, minimum purchase of 1 S-Builder unit, purchase items through TripleClicks and share what you know with others.

Modelling is the best policy when wanting to reach Team Leader status.

Hi!

I will tell you my experience.

In first month received VP-s (I have joined at the end of month) I transferred to the next month. Then I looked to stay above green line, doing just that much actions. Of course, advertising to get team members was also important. And I reached EA status. Then comes the second whole month. I set up a SO of 125 TC-s, which assure me to maintain EA. My team was growing, but I don't have EA2 team members yet. At least, five days before month ends, one of my PSA-s became EA2 and because of VP matching, I reached BTL status. That was 56 day from register in SFI. If I had just one more EA2 member, I could reach STL. But I am sure, that I will reach it next month.

I learn my team members to do what I do (duplication), and then all of then will became successful team leaders very soon.

There are several ways to become a Team Leader in SFI with or without much investment. For a start, ensure that you have a Standing Order of at least 1,500 VersaPoints and you therefore have to collect the VPs balance to qualify for your Team Leader level each month with Action VersaPoints because a true Team Leader is grateful to his team, is a worker and leads by a good example. He keeps a good contact with his or her PSAs and helps them to become Executive Affiliate each month. Well to become a Team Leader, one needs to be focused, regular, determined, persistent and positive.

I am BTL since last two months and realize that keeping Team leader status you have to do the following :-

1. Earn maximum points everyday.
2. Attend pricebenders and earn 500 points in a month.
3. Keep an SO for at least 1500 points. Better to keep 125 TC as SO, which can be utlized for pricebenders and get more MRP and redeem the same for Tcredits and secure more points.
4. Attend Zebra contest every day to get points.
5. Try to download music to get points.

I think it is enough for getting Team leaders every month.

is to choose a standing order of the IHABE business tool which is worth 1500 vp points
or the 125 t-credit standing order which is worth 1500 vp a month and in choosing either
of these you won't have to worry about getting 1500 points every month you will automaticly qualify as an EA and will have the assurance of being a team leader every
month, it is definitely the way to go in my opinion. it's the way I started out.

The best way is I would say to make your team of PSA-s as big as possible. That way you will really feel like a team leader. You will lead them and teach them to do the same for their PSA-s as you do for yours. That will bring you respect, rank and of course money.

There is also another way to become Team Leader and that is to spend your money on buying all kind of things just to get points and become BTL, STL. GTL or PTL. This is just another way but I don't recommend it because that is not a way that this business is done.
