With my wife it didn't take much convincing. If you own a business of any type an investment in its growth is vital. A Home business is no less a real business. It requires a license and a place to work. It requires effort and learning, and will take time. It requires advertising and someone has to make a sale for the owners to take profits. There is NO Difference in a Home Business and any other venture beyond the fact that we require less initial capital outlay and have lower risk should failure occur.

Be confident and even offer to work hand in hand with them so they understand the business and feel a part of what you are doing. Don't have doubts, don't come off sounding like you are scared or unsure. Be determined and show them your progress. Help them envision the potential and see the reality.

Actions speak louder than words.

Yes, you want your life partner to be a part of your dream with SFI but if they have never experienced success with an online or any other business endeavor, more than likely they will be unable to see the possibilities and opportunities that SFI has to offer.

What do you do?

Build your business and show him or her the progress as you go. Teach them what you are learning and slowly when they see that the business is growing they will come around.

Only your passion and your progress in SFI will determine your partner's response to your business. Stay positive and keep striving to be the best!

It is also very difficult to question to answer and not one with a single answer as everyone's situation is unique. To one person an answer may be a great solution, but to the another person, it could be quite the opposite.

In general, however, you should not convince anyone and should not have to convince anyone to do anything. Especially, when your finances are in question. If your objective is to sway someone to agree with you that investing in SFI is prudent, then you should be showing why with ultimate proof or facts. Key results that back up your statements.

-->>Show or explain to them your true progression of increasing value in commissions
-->>Show or explain to them your growth rate and what the expected trend is to be 2014
-->>Explain to them there are no other opportunities remotely like SFI. Show them why.
Etc.

I can go on for many more reasons that could be used to justify but the idea is don't try to convince them as this will or may come across as disingenuous even though your intentions are correct or in good in nature. The best practical solution is to back up any statement with hard core facts and proof.

Great question! I didn't even tell my husband I was trying this business until I had worked at it for two months! There are so many scams out there, I wanted to be sure this opportunity was legitamate and that I fully understood it before I talked to him about it!

I set a budget of $50 per month anf stuck with it. That way, the impact on our expenses was minimal. Since he buys lots of things on eBay, the basic concept of TripleClicks was easy. I even gave him a gift card so that he could try it out. I shared my goals with him, and keep him informed about my growing income each month. He is still unconvinced, and said that he would believe me when I tell him that I no longer need my weekly personal "allowance" of $40/week. Until then, he
will just humor me, since I only use my own funds to drive my Standing Order and awards for my team. I know that by the end of my sixth month, (February), that I will surpass his benchmark, and then some!

Although he is not actively supportive, my results so far are making him see that I could really make a difference in our family finances with this business. I see more interest in his demeanor when I report my monthly income, and forescast when specific bills might be paid from my efforts. I know results are the only thing that will ultimately convince him, so most days, I just don't talk about it too much. I am sure he will be more than enthusiastic when my goals are realized, and we can afford to travel and enjoy our lives more!

This business plan is fool proof if yoû just follow the simple directions as they are laid out. The only way you can fail is if you give up. Keep focused on the goal. When you achieve it, your partner will be glad you did!

This is exactly what I went through before I started my SFI business.
My partner knew I joined because of sentimental reasons (long story) but he didn't trust SFI enough.
We googled and researched SFI and the results only made him dislike SFI even more.
BUT! The one thing that stood out no doubt was the fact that affiliates had access to a wealth of training material for FREE.So my partner agreed that I could join on the condition that I learn about SFI and Internet Marketing. Understand fully before investing any money. He also gave me a time limit, if I don't accomplish anything good by then then I am gone!
Setting goals for ourselves has encouraged me to work hard to prove to my partner that this is legit.

You should also ask your partner if he could allow you a few months also to prove to him that this works.

This will require you working even harder but it'll be worth it.

You can show him/her:

1. How the program exactly works (basics and what can you get from it)
2. Other people testimonials,
3. Other members success examples such as the ones in your upline list or show power ranking lists as well
4. Introduce him/her with the ECA program

This would be enough for start and if he/she decides to become a member, give further directions as a sponsor.

The point is to tell him/her that there is a way to succeed without investing money right away but it takes work and will to do this.

Interesting question.I can relate as I had the same problem until I ended up in hospital for 7 days! With no laptop to help me do my work every day, I asked my hubby to help out, which he did with my guidance by cell phone, on how to do the work.
The 'Ask SC' section made the biggest impact on him, as he read all the questions and answers. By doing this, he came to the realization and a greater understanding of how SFI and Triple Clicks works.
My hubby is now much more supportive when I spend time and money on the program.
Perhaps if involved your partner by asking him/her to help you 'rate' the answers on 'Ask SC' they too can gain a better understanding of the business?

In my opinion, maybe it depends upon the situation and the experience that both of you have. In my case I am an internet marketer for almost three years and besides being a forex trader, and a networker for more than 5 years I am also working with my profession, I failed so many times. But when I found SFI my life change I study it and discuss to my partner what I have learned, I sometimes let my partner read ASK SC while I am earning my VP’s and also in the Forum I always share it to my partner those encouraging experienced from our friendly affiliates. When she asks me about the investment, I did not tell her directly how much. What I did is to tell her all the benefits of becoming an EA and TL in a higher rank and the benefits of working at home. I give some examples of Business like franchising and many others which need big investments. When she understands the essence of acquiring a real business that’s the time I’ll tell her the investment needed for SFI. Although she knows that SFI can be done without any investment as long as I devote my time, and because she already understands how my SFI business works. I had her support now and we always discuss how we can grow our business.
