Well, I took long before deciding to answer this question simply because I wanted to be sure I am one of those doing the right actions developing big numbers in my team.

Yes, in the last 15 days (January 1st to 15th), I have sponsored 45 new PSAs. I realised duplication was indeed the greatest achievement one can have to be a good leader. I have also helped my PSAs do the same by directing them to the right channels. One of my PSAs has made more than 200 PSAs in just two months. And we just joined SFI, now three months.

You can tell that for one who has done that for say five years should've sponsored numerous PSAs.
You too can do that. It's a matter of time as you do it regularly each day, each month.

First, a good photo is one of yourself and not some other person, animation, avatar or hero.
It shouldn't contain other people as these cause distractions.
It should be a portrait that fits into the placeholder and not a full size.
You need to look at the camera so you will appear to look at everyone right in their face.
The focus is communication and not a model appearance.
You need to portray professionalism and dependability.

That said, consider what/how you feel seeing a blank placeholder and no room for imagination about how a person you are relating with looks! Whether it is just a social network like Facebook or even an email. I like Gmail because they were quick to realise the need for it.
SFI actually needs to include at least one other placeholder for a full-size photo in the a2a network.

You see the eCards are already making a great difference in communication because they portray a real personal feeling that someone cares and takes time for you. This is especially so when it comes with your own photo included in the design. But remember, if you have no account profile photo uploaded and approved then even such an eCard is rendered meaningless, unreal and impersonal as it comes with an empty placeholder.

For your new PSAs, they will be more encouraged to know there is a real person in the system to help them and not just a computer or robot. As a sponsor I am also encouraged knowing that a real serious and interested person signed up, not a paid-to-click robot or an internet tourist.

Content has been my main area of research in the past few months and I am glad that Stephan has brought it up here. To begin with, you need to understand that content in internet marketing or blogging refers to a theme of a particular blog or website. Also, for your theme to be noticeably clear, it should not be mixed up with other different themes otherwise your blog could be construed as a "general merchandise blog" targeting no one in particular.

If there is nothing specific for your content, you stand out to lose on visitors but if you specialise in one theme, you get better in practice and your content keeps getting better and more sought after by your audience because they find it helpful.

Now, a look at the statistics for online audience will show you that there are over 2.5 billion people searching the internet. Are you going to reach out to everyone? Certainly not. Think of them like people on a busy street. So many people moving up and down. A closer look will reveal that there are smaller groups of people within the multitude. Each group is looking for something in particular or something related. There are mothers looking for babies’ products for example. But even for these mothers, there are even other smaller groups. Some mothers are looking for health products to keep their babies fit and crying less. Some mothers are looking for clothing and want their babies looking smart all the time. Some other mothers are looking for baby food, others for baby hygiene products and you could think of other groups among the mothers’ union.

You may realise that you can’t be out there satisfying all mothers. You will either be their babies’ skin doctor, fashion designer, entertainer, feeder, or one other but not all. Now each little group within a group is called a nich?. And your content should be directed to a nich? of your choice. I will not delve into the subject about how to choose a nich? because that is another very wide subject and depends on your own passion, training and experience. Passion being of greater importance.

When preparing your content, you should focus on solving a given problem for your nich? and this has to keep up with regular and helpful updates. By offering a solution to a challenge you offer your sale within your content which in this case may be the SFI affiliate program or a product on TripleClicks. (Refer to your SFI gateway and TC product or ECA gateways (URLs pointing to you). You may also want to read about Key Code tracking).

Infringement comes when you copy a brand of another – naming, design, logos, graphics and even “copy-and-paste” content. But you can have many people selling baby diapers in different brand names. You can also have many people reporting about the world cup. What you don’t have to do is reproduce another’s footage.

I would say you almost gave up because you were innocent! But thank God you and all who are reading this are not quitters.

Well to share what I personally did I will share the most outstanding ones;

1. I took my time to read every statement in my first days. I actually raised enough VersaPoints (VP) to win a Fast Track badge on my first day as SFI affiliate.

2. When I realised I had a sponsor - I had joined following an ad, I contacted my sponsor right away on my first day. He turned out to be the best sponsor I could have, he replied immediately. The SFI sponsor program is so encouraging because you don't move blindly or as a lone tourist.

3. I started and kept it a daily habit to check the red tabs on my home page. Of course I completed my profile and uploaded my smiling face the first day. And I daily participate in the free drawings. I have actually won free TCredits (TC). Encouraging!

4. I read the Launchpad lessons and answered the simple quiz which comes with VPs so tempting and information so appealing that I read all the lessons sooner than recommended. But I was faithful too in reading them so carefully. I read the other guidelines also including the SFI basics and the PowerTools.

5. The second month came with little harder challenges one of them being the lack of such free points offered in the first month. Besides I had completed all the Launchpad lessons. It was time to ask my sponsor on the way forward. He practically demonstrated to me the use of Gift Certificates (GC) by offering me one for $15 enough to raise more than enough VPs to re-qualify as Executive Affiliate (EA).

6. With the GC, I bought the 1 TCredit (TC) that comes with a whole 102 VPs although costing a little more than a bulk purchase.

The frequency of communication is directly proportional to the quality of communication itself.
If you contact your upline and never get a response, get a delayed or a response not meeting your requirements, I guess you give up sooner.

Communication is mutual, not a one way traffic. Also don't expect to be ever on the receiving end - you have lots of ideas to share with your sponsor so he/she will grow more.

Sometimes there is a lot to discuss, you could even go to chatting and video conferencing. Sometimes there is little to say for the moment and you could take a whole week.

I and my sponsor joined SFI in the same month and year. He lives the US and I live in East Africa. We exchange ideas, discoveries, insights and even do research together to find out what works better and what doesn't.

When a particular system fails to work for me, as a matter of fact, I let my Sponsor know as a warning lest he fall victim too. Of course I train my downline accordingly.

I would first attend to raising minimum 1500 VPs so I would qualify as EA.

# Buying TCredits is one good way as it also helps in bidding and gaining MRPs.
I consider 1TCredit for $1.99 (Usually $1.89) which comes with 102 Sales VPs and 25 Action VPs for review (15 days after purchase).

# I would also consider some least priced items listed by PSAs to fit my budget. Apart from the Sales VPs for purchases, TripleClicks offers 25 Action VPs for product reviews.

# Next I would consider growing my downline team. So I would consider an S-Builder co-op or one of the guaranteed PSA signups sold by some ECAs on TripleClicks. I won't give recommendations here but I try them out with caution. I begin by buying the smallest packs and when I see results, I buy more next time.

Basically I understand that maximising growth at SFI is two-way; accumulating Versa Points and growing/duplicating through PSA recruitment.

When I had just joined SFI one of my new PSAs became so active buying and bidding at TrippleClicks. He became a GTL in his second month. Then it became hard to keep up the level. I had envied his acumen because I were still an EA. We later had a discussion also involving my sponsor and we came to the following conclusion.

You may gain sales VP by buying and action VP by bidding, thereby qualifying as BTL, STL, GTL even PTL but it will cost you dearly and while you accumulate VPs, the truth will remain - you are not a Team Leader because you got no team to lead!

For every EA2, BTL, STL, GTL and PTL you sponsor you get 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 VP respectively.

Additionally, for every PSA you reassign to your downline you get 5 VP.

I will leave the mathematics to you so you will compare with your ability to develop a team and so you will be a Team Leader and always remain a Leader indeed.

Remember, your hard work in the first months or a couple of years will pay off to a vacation time of satisfactory reflection.

You can tell such a person by looking at the badges they have acquired on their member connection page.

Find good Team Leaders in your upline. If not your sponsor then one in the upper line.

You can find some good TLs in the a2a, SFI forum and even through the posts on the Stream.

Also look out for those who are winning regularly in the TrippleClicks auctions. It's another way to identify those who are at work, growing their VPs and contributing while earning in the executive pool.

Once you identify one good Team Leader, search their names in the a2a and you will send them an a2a friend request. One who accepts to be your friend is also willing to help and mentor you.
That's what I did to supplement my sponsor's mentorship.
