There are MANY ways for you to find someone... not just a mentor, but a GOOD mentor. Because of the enormity of SFI, there are many levels of mentoring that you could have and to see that you are asking for a mentor proves that you are on the right track.

The first mentor you will have will be your sponsor. He/she is the one that is directly in charge of your success. He/she wants you to be successful because his/her success is directly tied into yours. So they have the MOST vested interest in you.

After your sponsor is your co-sponsor. When you joined, you were assigned a sponsor AND co-sponsor, in order for you to receive dual mentoring. I love the fact that you have two different individuals to help.

After your immediate sponsor & co-sponsor, there are your upline sponsors. They are a team of about 6 individuals that are above you. They are there to see you through and to be sure that you understand the program too. They always try to get you to connect with your immediate sponsor/co-sponsor, but in the event you can't, your "upline" will always assist.

Then, if those 8 people were NOT enough, then you also have the ability to acquire A2A friends. These are your peers that are available for help also. So you see, you have anywhere from 8 to millions of opportunities for mentor-ship. I know that you will be successful.

Your mentor should be your sponsor. However, it often happens that the sponsor does not have a lot of longer standing in the SFI of his affiliate. So what now?

- There is also a Co-Sponsor which assigns SFI, as the other person that you can contact in case of need.

- -The next instance, is your upline - sponsor of your sponsor etc.

- There are also support groups that are organized on a voluntary basis, through various social networks (mostly Facebook)

- SFI Forum

- SFI support team

- But most importantly, in my opinion, you should have willingness to learn, read. Knowledge base founded by SFI, with a variety of experts, is priceless. The answers to many of your important questions can be found here.

So my advice is - be a mentor to yourself, first.

1. When u join SFI there is a sponsor and co sponsor, you may ask your sponsor and / or your co- sponsor to help you get started by giving you some basic information, like my sponsor really assisted me and has always helped me incase there was something i didnt understand, initially i found things a lil difficult but as i read matters became more simpler so,

Start with SFI basics and launch pad lessons ( i keep reading hahhah almost twice a week), believe me everything is self explainatory and quite simple. There is a bar also a black one which has training , marketing, leaders, power tools etc, just click and you ll get what you are looking. While reading from here if you have doubts,
3. Use support desk, type in your query and you ll get help too from here.
4. You can propose a topic in forum and see various mentors, who will share their experiences , you can learn from here too
5. Leaders in your upline and / or in other teams will give a good guidance on approaching them
6. Your a2a friends can also be good mentors,

All in all there are many ways but as for me my sponsor and the SFI tools have been my best mentors. Its not as hard as it seems and practice makes perfect so keep reading and practicing according to the info, this will lead you to success.

The best mentor is one who is experienced and already working with real success.
You can tell such a person by looking at the badges they have acquired on their member connection page.

Find good Team Leaders in your upline. If not your sponsor then one in the upper line.

You can find some good TLs in the a2a, SFI forum and even through the posts on the Stream.

Also look out for those who are winning regularly in the TrippleClicks auctions. It's another way to identify those who are at work, growing their VPs and contributing while earning in the executive pool.

Once you identify one good Team Leader, search their names in the a2a and you will send them an a2a friend request. One who accepts to be your friend is also willing to help and mentor you.
That's what I did to supplement my sponsor's mentorship.

The best way to find a mentor is the hardest way! Be a mentor yourself!

If you start to read the questions in the News on the Alerts page, you will start to learn a lot about SFI and there are MANY News Articles in the more than 15 year old archive! So you can learn a LOT from the News, keep it up everyday and you will know more than most people in SFI!

The SFI Forum is extensive and a goldmine of valuable information that will help you stay on the right path. THIS! This is were you'll find a LOT of mentors and a bunch of willing people who will help you and encourage you on your journey in SFI.

Use the search engine on the forum for anything and everything that you want to know about SFI and TripleClicks. If you don't find what you are looking for, you can always submit a support ticket.

You could always try many levels up through your Upline, there are many who are willing to help you, but you have to take the initiative too. Be an enthusiastic communicator and use the Stream to find willing people who will help you in your A2A friends too!

Whatever you do, don't give up because you can't find a mentor, find out the answers to your questions by looking for them yourself, and you in turn can become a great mentor to others too!

From your question let me guess the situation, either your sponsor/co-sponsor's are not helpful/co-operative or they are also new to the system as you are. Sponsor/co-sponsor's can be the best mentor's as they have the access to your profile information, point details, daily activities etc. But if you're not getting the required support from them don't worry, you can still do good in your SFI business. I've faced similar situation & I'll be explaining it below:

What is the best way to find a mentor for SFI? Well, that’s easy - SFI is awash with mentor opportunities. Here is a short list: -

1. When you join SFI you are immediately given two sponsors: -
a. Your sponsor (you become his PSA), whose specific job is to look after you, and the first person you should turn to for mentoring, and
b. Your Co-sponsor (you become his CSA), your secondary sponsor and mentor, who is assigned to you.
The SFI system is set up to support them in doing this. You will immediately receive a welcome email from both and thereafter regular team mails, usually weekly, SFI values this commitment to team support so much that it awards Action VersaPoints to your sponsor and co-sponsor to encourage them to do this and you also are awarded Action VP each month for evaluating how well they have done this.
2. Your complete Upline Support Team from SFI is also listed from SFI Corporate down – that is five levels above Sponsor and Co-Sponsor. Each is available for you to contact. And they will also regularly contact you through the Stream Tab on your SFI Affiliate Center Home Page - https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=stream.

You have a mentor. That person is your sponsor. If they are not responsive because of some barrier or lack of knowledge, then you can contact your upline. There is always the support and the forum.

Every new affiliate is overcome with immensity of the SFI affiliate center. There are hundreds of links and pages of information. So it is understandable that newbies especially feel that they need someone to mentor them. I felt like that when I joined SFI.

So if your upline is not responsive, it simply means that they want you to learn how to walk on your own. They don't want to provide you crutches when they know that you don't need them. I personally don't agree with total silence but I see why some do. Therefore if you feel that you need a mentor, what I would do is contact the top sponsor in my country or better yet in your city if you happen to be able to discover that their is a team leader in SFI in your home town!

Nevertheless, I'd befriend a top sponsor and learn from them. I'd listen to their recommendations and execute them with due diligence. If you show yourself to be a leader then you will find that you will get all of the support you need. But if you are just looking for a crutch then it will become obvious and you will not be successful.

I identify with you because I remember during my first months as a newbie SFI Affiliate I really needed a mentor to help me through the many questions I had regarding the business since my sponsor was not so visible. It was not easy to get one. It takes time especially if you are contacting someone who is new to you and who you are new to.
I am glad now that I have some mentors especially in my up line that I can reach out to for help anytime.

A mentor is a person or friend who guides a less experienced person by building trust and modeling positive behaviors. An effective mentor understands that his or her role is to be dependable, engaged, authentic, and tuned into the needs of the mentee.

While I have mentors from both my Up line and in the A2A, I think you would have a better chance of getting one if you asked from your Up line. What kind of mentor are you looking for? For me I was looking for a mentor with the following qualities

Leads by Example
I was looking for a mentor with a proven track record. Someone who has been there,seen it and done it and their success is evidenced by what their badges have to say.

A Character Builder – providing me with an honest assessment of his or her strengths and weaknesses and helping me acquire the confidence and tools to function in the competitive world of SFI business.
Understands the importance of networking and helps me build my own network.
Models the highest ethical standards.
Works to guide me toward independence and career success in SFI

A Team Player – receptive to my need for other mentors

Accessible and Available – willing to get to know me and keep in touch, understanding that the frequency depends on my needs. I was glad to get someone who was just that. One of my mentors has had open and frequent communication with me severally despite his busy schedule.

Has Willingness to share skills, knowledge, and expertise. A good mentor should accept you the way you are. The mentor does not take the mentoring relationship lightly and understands that good mentoring requires time and commitment and is willing to continually share information and their ongoing support with the you.

Additionally;
A good Mentor- Values the opinions and initiatives of others.
- Sets and meets ongoing personal and professional goals.
- Is Respected by colleagues in all levels of SFI corporate & Down line.
- Provides guidance and constructive feedback.
- Values ongoing learning for himself and growth in the SFI Business
- Takes a personal interest in the mentoring relationship.
- And lastly Demonstrates a positive attitude and acts as a positive role model.

I must say though that it's gonna be tricky and a little challenging to find one with all of the above qualities but you sure can. Just keep trying till you get one. I am fortunate to have one mentor me.

The best place to find a mentor is in your upline. Communicate with them and let them know what it is that you need help with.

If you do not get any response from your upline, the next place to go is the A2A tab. Connect with an experienced member and ask them for guidance.

A great way to find someone who would meet your needs is to go through the Ask SC answers. Read the answers given to the questions and find someone who gives advise that you can relate to. Most of the people who replay will be A2A members and you can search for them in that system.

Following the above steps will put you in contact with an experienced member who will be able to guide you to success!
