There are numerous online programs available for you to use for seminars or for a better term, webinars. This is definitely a great way to train your affiliates, communicate with them and pass information. Some examples of programs to use are Google Hangout, GoToMeeting, Join.ME and GVO Conference. Some of these programs may have a cost associated with using them, so you should shop around for which one would best fits your webinar needs. If you are going to have a lot of webinars, it may be worth the cost to invest in a dedicated program.

In order to have a successful webinar, my experience has shown that you need to consider the following:

Choose a program that has the capability to record the webinar so you can share it with those who may not be able to attend. Since SFI is a worldwide business, everyone may not be able to join at the specified time. With the capability to record the webinar, you will be able to share it with all your downline. You may have to come up with a solution to transcribe the recording into other languages.

I would also recommend a program where the attendees can watch/listen via the computer or they can call into a number to hear the presentation. Some people might want to attend the webinar but are not at a computer to do so. They may have the capability of just listening to the webinar over the phone or VOIP.

If you decide to have call-in capability for your webinar, you should consider a program that has a mute feature for all the attendees. Some people are very new to conference calls and do not realize how distracting background noise can be. I have seen (actually heard) attendees carrying on conversations with their families while the presenter is trying to talk. So having the capability to mute everyone so there is no interruption with the training for other people is very important.
I suggest you have a moderator to run the webinar program and facilitate the webinar for you. It is very difficult to try to run the program and teach at the same time. Have one of your team leaders or downline do this for you. They can introduce you, make sure the webinar is recorded, help keep you on time, and look for questions that pop-up in the chat or public area. They can ask the questions during Q & A so you can concentrate on the answers and material. This will also give them experience for their own future webinars.

You should set a specific time for how long the webinar will run. For instance, I would not have a training session of more than one hour. During that hour, you could have 45 minutes of training or presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A. You could break up your training into smaller segments in needed and have a series of training webinars over a period of time.

Use slides (PowerPoint presentation) or share your desktop so the attendees can see what you are talking about. Hearing and seeing at the same time makes for better learning.

Finally, take your time. Do not rush yourself. If you do not get through all the material, then catch it the next time around. Talk to the attendees, not at them. Let them hear the excitement in your voice!

How do you set up an online training seminar for your affiliates and what are some tips.

Preferably the very first thing I would do is see if there is an interest in it among your affiliates. I would hate to see you got through all the trouble for no one to join your seminar. My advice here is to send a team mail or email and get an idea of the amount of interest, best days and times (keeping in mind time zones and that you may have to hold the seminar more than once), and finally what are the top 3 topics they would like to see covered.

If this goes well and you have the interest I would find a service that suits your needs for your seminar; making sure it is recordable and able to be posted on a website (more on this later). Choose the top 1 or 2 topics given to you by your affiliates and begin outlining your training. Making sure to include links to the SFI website and trying to forsee the types of questions you may receive. I personally would prepare visuals. Humans learn in many different ways, so adding a visual element you are covered.

Finally, you can make this a series by creating an inexpensive or free website that suits 2 important purposes. 1st marketing by posting our marketing information and 2nd your series of training videos. You could create addition ones on your own that were not seminars. Now there is a professional website marketing for you AND training your affiliates... does it get any better? It's exactly what I'm working on and I think it's a winner.

How can I set up an online seminar to train my affiliates … and what are some tips for successful seminars?

This is something I wish to develop during 2016, so I have been giving this question some thought. This is what I plan to do: -

1. I plan to build up to setting up an online seminar – in other words, do it in stages.

2. Stage one: Is to prepare materials for a seminar. I am putting together some video clips about different aspects of SFI. When these are ready they will be available to my team through my website.

The videos will be of me talking to them directly and will include screen shots of me working in SFI – so they will see exactly what they should be doing – and they can just copy me.

They can get back to me with any questions and I will work with them through these videos at their pace.

It’s a “one-on-one” training situation.

And, honesty, this is what I would prefer to do.

3. Stage two: The online seminar itself. This is where many people can view the content at the same time, ask questions and have their questions answered.

Of course, you can only deal with one person and one question at a time, so the others in that seminar will be waiting their turn. That’s a bit of a drawback to using an online seminar.

Perhaps the easiest way to do this is to use SKYPE, provided everyone has access to it.

The most important thing is that the online seminar is held at a time that is suitable for your affiliates. That might take some “twigging” to get right. Perhaps the best way forward would be to ask them what times would suit them and then run the online seminars at those times.

I don’t think you should worry too much about things. You can over-plan these things. I suggest that you get started in a small way. Each of us will have a different experience with online seminars – so learn from what you find out as you go along.

And remember, it’s not running a fabulous online seminar that is important – what’s important is teaching your team to be successful in their SFI businesses.

An online seminar may be a great benefit to the success of your team, but it is not the only way and it may not be the best way for some of your team members either.

Don’t get “tied up’ with the technology. Keep it simple. Keep focused on your aim – teaching your team to be successful SFI business people.

Online Seminars or Webinars are powerful online communication tools because they are live and interactive. The experience of attending a webinar stands miles apart from going through a website or a blog entry even if it offers online live support. Fact is, the more a virtual communication mimics a face to face experience, the more engaging it becomes, the more it appeals to our natural sense of human contact.

Consider the following details when planning your online seminars :

1. Prepare everything beforehand - Load all the exercises/presentations into the ‘room’ beforehand and put them in the right order – you will have more than enough on your hands so don’t sort things out on the fly.

2. Think like a talk show host - When presenting, think of yourself like a radio talkshow host – you need to keep the energy levels up and bring out the best of your ‘guests’.

3. Try to enjoy it all and don’t worry - Participants are often very patient when things go wrong as long as you show a sense of humour. Just be yourself and relax and enjoy the whole experience. This will put everyone else at ease and will make it something they will want to repeat again in the future.

4. Establish eye contact - It’s rude talk to people without looking straight into their eyes, and there’s no way you should forget this when doing it online. When presenting online, you will have to establish eye contact by looking straight at the camera, especially when you acknowledge a question and move on to answer it.

5. Tell your audience what you are doing - It may be as simple as saying that you are reading their questions or you are accessing information you want to share with them. The point is, never let an uncomfortable silence leave your audience guessing what in the world you are up to or if something wrong happened with your internet connection.

1. First decide on the number of affiliates that will take part in your on line seminar. Based on this, you can decide on the platform to use. Select a platform that allows higher number of participants.

2. Based on the country of origin of your affiliates fix the time zone and mention it very clearly in advance.

3. Do not fix your on line seminar on week ends. Week ends are supposed to be for spending time with dear ones. Your affiliates may not like the idea if you try to do it on week ends and holidays.

4. Have a simple landing Page where your affiliates can sign up easily.

5. Link your landing page to the platform you originally selected to conduct your on line seminar.

6. Your on line seminar URL should be short and easy to remember for your affiliates to hook themselves without any difficulties.

7. Have the duration fixed – may be an hour will do to start with. In order to keep the participants focused, please create slides on important aspects of SFI like:

• Back Ground of SFI
• A Brief on Gery – the Founder – how he rose to this level
• Brief on TripleClicks, products, safe delivery, payment options
• Rules of Success & how they can be followed

8. Try and have an interactive question and answer session. If it is not possible because of time constraint, then leave your E-Mail and ask them to send their questions.

9. Seek your participant’s opinion and try to have follow up on line seminars at regular intervals.

10. Have experienced Leaders to support you during your on line seminar who can handle different aspects of the meeting.

11. If you want to have a successful training session, then better prepared to offer the affiliates both before and after the seminar, with gift certificates or TCredits or any product from TripleClicks (not so costly and affordable) so that they will be motivated to take part in future seminars as well remain active in SFI.

12. Keep the seminar lively, fun and joyful without losing its focus.

What you need to look for online is a Coaching Webinar Platform. You can also use one of the Instant Messenger programs that allow you to connect with a group of people.

Web seminars are fairly easy to set up. Another way than what I have already mentioned is to use web-conferencing software that is integrated with your existing email, SMS (short message systems) and calendar programs. The invitation includes a link and access code for logging into the meeting. The calendar program will remind both the attendees and the organizer when it's time to join the group.

You, still want to put up an online seminar to educate your team. Though, it's quiet tough actually; since you have no face to face contact with all your participants, on your online seminars. Wherein, the key of doing it right is that you must keep things short and pithy. Must give the people what they want as quickly and efficiently as possible, considering the time they could spent in participating.

You might need to use online tools and applications with platform. Considering this things in your mind:

*Free may not be the best option if you are using this tactic to demonstrate how professional your business is.
*Look for a tool that offers some interaction tools such as polling, questions, chat, even video
*Make sure your chosen tool can handle the numbers you plan to enroll
*Be certain you can easily record your sessions for future marketing use
*Look for ease of use and follow-up reminder email automation.

Though in most cases it is better to show your affiliate how it works than telling them how it works. You can build even more trust with this.

Setting up an online seminar for affiliate is just perfect for SFI business but if it must be successful you need to put in the essential ingredient. You must know you cannot set up the training section with out alerting you affiliates and have them agree to hold the section with you. That's just very important because you need them to be there irrespective of the Time Zones they are. Now to move on to setting it up follow this carefully....

1. Have a goal for the seminar.
You need a clear purpose and idea of what you want to achieve out of the initiative. For example, How to become an EA, or How to build a better team, or How to earn big at SFI. The purpose must be stated. Just as with any big change, you really need to think about what you want to accomplish, as opposed to the bells and whistles of the different e-learning options out there. Make the goal worth the time your affiliates will spend at the training section.

2. Decide a Format
Hold on for a while, you need to explore the option of online training out there, as well as how to implement them. Is it E-learning, Virtual Seminar or Social learning. You need to decide before going ahead.

3. Organize your Training material
This is very important, if the Training section is not organize you will end up boring your Affiliates. Number the sections you are going to take and have the materials organized. This will boost your confidence when deliverying the seminar.

4. Have bonus content
It might sound like a reward for those who would attend. You are going to get a better then up if you do this.

SFI puts on the best training program imaginable, as far as I am concerned. Early on in the business I put an inordinate amount of time into assembling a step-by-step training program for the business, but what I found is that the business is so dynamic, much of the information I was providing was out of date a month or two down the road. It was a good exercise for my understanding of the business, but it didn't really help my downline. The solution wasn't adding more reading to the reading they already have in the business. The solution was locking them into the teaching system already in place.

If you still want to do an online seminar or a U-Tube presentation, you can talk about the economic constraints that most people are burdened with, and conclude with a comment that all most people want is a chance to get ahead, to improve their circumstances. The fact is that people aren't taught how to succeed financially. They are taught to go to school, get a good job, but aren't taught to think about what that will get them in the long run. Ask them if that program is working for them. Are they free? If a person does all that, do they still struggle financially?
