We as Team Leaders should know the importance of sending out the Designated Diamond invitations. The invitations are sent to hard working affiliates in your team. That said, the PSAs that you have sent this invitation, has an insight as to what the Designated Diamond Programme entails.

If they don't, we would send them an email. The first email sent would be to:-

1. Appreciate them for accepting your DD ( Designated Diamond) invitation.

2. Let them know that they are officially building something great and how it aligns to THE PLAN which they can view at (https://www.sfimg.com the_plan).

3. Let them know that they have a new responsibility as such , they would have to set goals to achieve the Rank of a DiamondTeam Leader.

4. Let them know the available tools that can help them achieve their goals, your availability at all times as their sponsors and the $200 bonus which they can claim within a period of 5 years as its paid in fractions with their commissions on a monthly basis provided they don't drop below EA2 rank as they woukd forfeit their bonus.

5. Let them know of the Prestigious badge that would be displayed on their Homepage which would help them to encourage affiliates in their team to acheive such ranks.

That said, you can start your email by saying the following:-

Good day XXXX,

Thank you very much for accepting my DD ( Designated Diamond) invitation. It is an honour working with you as you and I are officially building something great.

As your Sponsor, I would be working closely with you to achieve your goals. Please view the PLAN at (https://www.sfimg.com/the_plan).

Remember that there are various tools in SFI you can use to build up a formendable team of PSAS. Such tools are the S builder units, PSAs to Go, use of Tripleclicks gift cards and Tripleclicks x cards to recruit new affiliates. Purchase t credits and bid for PSAs, CSAs and S builder units. Each 10 bids will give you an opportunity to get a full or part PSA. Which in turn helps to build your team and your ranks which is a win -win situation.

Also, I would put you in my team co op to assist you build your own team. Please have in mind that if you can get some active PSAs that can duplicate your actions, then the road to DTL will be easier than you think.

If you look at your Scoreboard Earning Panel, you would notice that a $200 signing bonus has been added to help you in building your team. This bonus would be paid within five years with your commissions provided you don't drop below EA2.

Simply explain to them that this is part of a long term goal achieved by doing what they normally would every day. It is not a hardship task that is out of reach, but something that will bring them greater success a couple years or so down the road. Help them to understand that you are not placing a burden on them, but rather a means to achieve greater things that will reward them at a greater level.

Diamonds are regular people just like you and I, they've simply experienced a level we have not yet. But it is not out of our reach either and we can attain it also by working at this every day and being consistent over time.

Help people to feel comfortable and not pushed into this. Nobody likes to feel over worked, but if they realize that this is like a light at the end of a tunnel that they can find, it will be more encouraging to them. Remind them also that you will be there each step of the way to help them accomplish this task, don't every cause them to feel abandoned but ensure them that you have their back.

Every Designated Diamond affiliate is not a new PSA in the team. DD is a reward, of hard and dedicated work, from an upline to his/her PSA. At such, every PSA given should see it as a privilege.

After accepting the DD offer, SFI has already congratulated the PSA and the Team Leader need not to worry about welcoming the new DD but open a line of communication that will ensure the commitment entered is confirmed by the Team Leader.

As a Team Leader, your first correspondence with the new DD should be focus on tips to achieve the set goals. Also, make the new DD understand the challenges ahead. Tell him/her your short and medium term plans. Ask for his/her plans too so that both of you can achieve together.

Finally, create avenue of communication outside the ones in SFI. This will ensure that both parties are open to each other.

Your Designated Diamonds are in my opinion are seasoned and know you very well
And they are active, so they don’t need any new welcome letter or introduction. When
They join or accept your Designated Diamond invitation they already know what is
going on.

But one thing what you can do is, you have to praise them for accepting your invitation
And taking the challenge to build their future and reach the Diamond Team Leader
Position in the near future.

You can assure them that you are working as a team and you are there to help them
In every way they need you for them to reach their goal.

Also remind them you are team you are depend on them to succeed and they are
depend on you to succeed, but it doesn’t mean you are doing their job and they are
doing your job, but it means you will be there for each other and you are all in.

Encourage them to share Ideas with you, if they have question or need help not to

If you are able to contact him/her by phone, why not pick up the phone and ring and say "Hi Tony, thanks buddy! You are my DD Affiliate!" or words to that effect, sounding very pleased and excited.

You can do the same with any email message, e-card, telegram, smoke signal or whatever!

You are first of all acknowledging that your PSA has accepted your invitation to the DD program and that you are delighted.

You would have been communicating with DDA and he/she is well known to you. He is a worker, going places and you believe him to be a worthy candidate for the program. You must do otherwise you would not have sent out the invitation.

You are going to work even closer together to achieve DTL status for both of you. He/She is going to be more than another PSA on your team. He is going to be a collaborator. So start sharing ideas on how to grow your businesses, help each other formulate plans to achieve DTL.

Remember you are acknowledging his acceptance of your invitation, thanking him for doing so and welcoming him to the program and a new relationship with you. What you say after that depends on what relationship you already have.

Well, as for welcoming the new affiliates who accpeted the DD invitation, it may not be really necessary to welcome them but if compulsory and need for the growth of the team then,

I will welcome them with the strategies on how we would achieve the goals of reaching Daimong Team Leadership at the end of the stipulated time.

And here is an example of how my welcome message would look like.

Hi, (Name of Affiliate)

Am so delighted you accepted the invitation into the Designated Diamond program and am glad you chose to continue to work as one of the most active part of the team. Good work so far as you deserve to be invited. Congratulations

I wish to remind you of the new responsibilities bestowed on us to build you and others who have accepted the invitation up to the level of a Diamond Team Leadership in 5years. Our first mission is to meet up with up to a Bronze Team Leadership in 6month from now.

These responsibilities are going to be more easier to attain if we could speed up the growth of the Team through DUPLICATION. The key to attain whatever level of Team Leadership is to continuously recruit and Duplicate our down lines to become if not like us, then better than we are.

Remember the Level of each Team Leadership requires us to have Equivalent Versal Points and at least an EA in our downlime, therefore making Standing Orders of S-Builders would be a great way to start, advertising our links and Buying of PSAs, also joining the auction to win more PSAs would drive the team quickly to help us reach our goals.

Designated Diamond is a person who belongs to your Team and not a stranger.

You have been working with that person for quite some time and you would have identified the fire to grow more in him. That's why you have chosen him to be your Designated Diamond. There is no need for you to do something strange in terms of welcoming him.

Once you got a DD, what you can do is:

1. Explain about the program in detail;
2. Share the commitment involved - from his side & from your side;
3. What is the commitment from SFI in terms of benefits?
4. How it can be achieved?
5. How you will be able to support him & help in achieving the Goal over a period of time?


Please share with him how this program will assist him to create his Own Team with quality leaders & active Team Members under every one & How it helps him to reach the highest Leadership Level in SFI that can lead to good income for every one regularly.

More than these, you should lead by your own example! If you are eligible, please get your self "Designated Diamond" First, by your up line.

Share with your DD, what's your plans to achieve it. Help him to progress. slowly but steadily. Stay connected with him and keep communicating regularly. Show your genuine interest in his growth. Make him understand the commitments very well and keep monitoring his progress regularly.

Do not bombard him with too much mails in the name of encouragement. Do not put any undue pressures on him. Just remain his friend and well wisher and make him realize this.

If you do, you will be the Winner together with a fresh DDL!!

There’s no need to welcome your Designated Diamond like you do with new PSA.

Your Designated Diamond is not a new arrival to your team- he is your active worker whom you have selected and invited as DD because you acknowledged his potential, his hard work, dedication and performance, and with whom you have already built a strong working relationship and can work towards your mutual goal to become DTLs.

As the DD Program is directly aligned with The Plan, it formalizes this process with this simple method of inviting worthy candidates for DTL.

As soon as your new Designated Diamond accepts your DD invitation, you can just send a short personal message on team mail, or an E-Card, acknowledging the acceptance, and emphasizing the importance of the DD program to both of you.

You can then discuss the 3-way commitment of the DD program, that the $200 SB is SFI’s commitment to both of you, to help your DD and you build a strong and great business. That you, as Sponsor, commit to your DD and your DD commit to you, which are listed down in the DD Program to make this work and provide guidelines to follow.

With this commitment firmly puts in place and understood, you are on your way to building really something great in SFI!

Welcoming a designated diamond is a big deal. Obviously they have already shown that they are a leader, hard-working, and focused on goals. They already know that you are supportive, and an awesome sponsor. The only left to do is to make good of the commitment. Personally, I find the stipulations very generous when it comes to the time frame involved.

Therefore, my first conversation with my designation diamond would start with some fact finding questions like the following:

1. When do you see yourself a STL? What does your plan consist of to achieve this goal?

2. When do you see yourself a GTL? What does your plan consist of to achieve this goal?

3. When do you see yourself a PTL? What does your plan consist of to achieve this goal?

4. When do you see yourself a DTL? What does your plan consist of to achieve this goal?

When I get this information, then I will make some recommendations and we will work together to achieve the goal.

Likewise, we will discuss the budgetary needs and work on a plausible solution to put more money into the plan for growing the business. Obviously, one can rely heavily on sweat equity and build slowly over the 5 year period or one can accelerate the time frame by investing capital wisely and using resources efficiently.

Finally we will briefly discuss the consequences of not meet the basic requirements and the basic commitments. My goal would be to ensure that my designated diamond has a plan in place with options so they are practically guaranteed to keep their status and bonuses. Of course the end game is to become a DTL and sponsor DTLs.

A new Designated Diamond is not a new SFI affiliate, nor your new PSA, and not lower than your first generation. It is your PSA who has shown himself to be worthy of an invitation to the DD program. Worthy of your attention, time, training, and relationship.

(I hope that you are not so eager to send out invitations that you send them to everyone in your genealogy. Be patience but deligent, your team will grow and those worthy of invitations will show themselves. SFI isn't going to end in 5 years and hopefully you will not either.)


So I do not think a welcome letter is the right thing to send. You welcomed them once. You have encouraged them and began a relationship. At this stage they don't want review. A congratulations for taking the next step would be appropriate. Then a discourse on what will be expected from each of you, using SFI's DD guidelines from the News Alerts, some goal setting, and some encouragement should fill out the short letter to the new DD.
