Getting affiliates to read all of our daily-announcements,may take some work because now you have to form a good relationship with these affiliates,by sending e-card to each one of them and leaving them clip- types of an mini-notes,from time to time. Team members should be receiving all the exciting and important SFI announcements if they have provided a good email address (Google or Yahoo) when they sign up.

One of the 'Getting Started' requirements also is to 'Whitelist SFI, so they can receive all the important emails from SFI.

Thank you for this very important question! I love to read so it is easy for me to read the announcements. Since not everyone enjoys reading or they may be short on time, I consider it important to let my team members know the latest announcements by posting them in my newsletters or by streaming them.
I know that getting people to actually read all the information is a problem that SFI has
noticed, hence The Spin and Win opportunity that is included in some newsletters. I really like the new must read feature in the Forum but realize that it wouldn't work for the announcements because all of the announcements are important or they wouldn't be posted. Not reading the announcements can be costly to individuals and to the team. There have been a lot of changes that affects the way we earn and we need to stress to our teams that they need to read and understand the announcements so that we don't panic when the changes take place. Knowledge is a powerful tool and it is wise to use all the tools that SFI provides us with!

Keep it simple.

Let your team know about announcements in team messages, emphasizing how it will benefit them and their business when they apply it.

Follow up by streaming messages on the benefits offered and how taking action on it will help build their business.

Resend the team message from time to time, as it may take receiving it a few times before it is actually read.

NEW SIMPLER VERSAPOINTS RULES!

Simpler is always better, and that's why were pleased to announce that we're no longer requiring our affiliates to distinguish between AVP (Action VP) and SVP (Sales VP) for their qualifications.

All points are now simply VersaPoints!

If your rank goal is EA (Executive Affiliate), you simply need to, as always, generate a minimum of 1500 VP using any combination of actions, sales, and/or purchases as listed on your To Do List (https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=to-do_list).

If you're a Team Leader, you'll still be required to have a minimum of 1500 VP each month from any combination of sales and/or personal purchases. But that's as complicated as it gets now...which isn't very complicated at all! For the rest of your VP requirements, it's completely up to you! You can use any combination of actions, sales, and/or purchases as listed on your To Do List.

And for Team Leaders, there are no longer any MAXIMUMS for VP from sales/purchase either! So long as you have the minimum 1500 VP from sales/purchases, and you have the minimum total VP for your rank, and you have fulfilled the first-level PSA(s) requirement (e.g. Two BTLs for the rank of STL), you're all set!

You can choose the date (any day from the 1st to the 20th) that you want us to process your Standing Order each month.

Want to start the month off strong? Choose the 1st day of the month for processing. It's a great way to make sure you're qualified for the month, your SO badge is secured, and your Affiliates will see (and hopefully follow) your example!

One of the biggest mistakes we see is people waiting too long to bid. Connectivity issues, computer crashes, latency (network delays), and other factors may interfere with your bid. If you wait till the last few seconds to bid, you're running the risk that your bid won't go through in time. And make sure you understand that when you bid, it just resets the auction clock, so being the last one to bid before the clock hits zero may just keep you from winning if your bid is delayed by one of the aforementioned technical issues. If you want to make sure your team reads all of the announcements, you need to set the example and read them first. Remember this saying: "If it is important to you, it will be important to them."

When the announcements are made, you should put a link to the announcement on your stream posts, in your team mail, on E-Cards, and your leadership page. If your team sees that you are excited about the announcement, they will understand how important it is to read it.
