I've received new CSAs from my country from the CSA Exchange. How can I get their attention and engage them?

Good question!

I would start with sending them a Welcome letter and letting them know you are their new Co-Sponsor. Let them know you are there to help them and to contact you if they have any questions.

From their profile, you may be able to find out where they live specifically in your country. This would possibly give you something to talk about like maybe you have traveled there or somewhere close by. What I would be looking for is a common point of reference whereas

Having new CSAs from your country gives you the advantage of establishing relationship with them faster and easier. You don’t have to deal with the common barriers such as language and culture because you understand them where they’re coming from.

A faster communication flow between you and your CSAs will help you tremendously in sharing your ideas and tips and in connecting with them.

What does it takes to get the attention of your CSAs to engage them in your SFI organization?

Firstly, it's great that your new CSAs are from your Country, which means the problem of languages can be eliminated because you would be all speaking a common language, which would make communication a lot easier.

Secondly, as we are taught at SFI - as Sponsors/Co-Sponsors, we are to be friendly, welcoming and caring towards our team members.

So my suggestion would be after the initial welcome emails, go and chat (if they are online) or send them follow up email or E-Card

Hi Gilbert

The 1st thing to do is to send them a special welcome message. Don’t use your standard message, personalised it.

They are you countrymen; use your language, local dialect and sayings. For Kiwis, say ‘Kia ora cousin’
Be friendly and assure them because you have a special bond, you are going to do your very best to help them in this business.
Encourage them to make contact with you and keep the conversations going.

I would recommend contacting them the same way as any of your original CSAs and PSAs.

Begin with the welcome email or e-card, introducing yourself as their new co-sponsor. Advise them of your contact information, let them know you are available to help them any time they need it.

Then continue with regular contacts, as you have been doing all along. Regular, informative contacts will let them know you are from their country, and hopefully good rapport will be established.

To get the attention of your new CSAs, you must endeavor as quickly as convenient to make some form of contacts with them. When you receive new CSAs from your country, just go to their affiliate snapshot page found here,

First thing you do is keep a welcome message for your
CSA"s.

Then a followup one to send 3 days later.

On each of their 4th days,check out their v.p.ledger
and see if they did anything besides log in.

If they are not active, wait till they get back to you or just include
them in your next mailing.

As Gery says,"work with the workers".

All of the CSAs were put into the CSA Exchange because they were considered 'drift wood' by there sponsor. So I really think that the majority of these affiliates will be purged from SFI in a year of their joining. So how can you get their attention? You won't in most cases but there are those affiliates who will greatly benefit from having a sponsor that can relate to them culturally. Your next team mail might include just the right information to rekindle that spark of ingenuity and ambition.

I am passing through the same situation.I have been planing and contacting them.One thing is to be noted.And it's this way. We are given an opportunity to have CSAs from our countries.To have CSAs from one's own country is that much easy to communicate them. I personally suggest you the points that I am acting upon.
1: Go to their leadership pages,take a bird's eye view of what they have performed so far.

The best form of communication that I have found effective is a combination of team mailer, SFI chat and email and e-cards.

Initially an introduction through the team mailer should take care of creating attention from your CSAs and they are aware that there is support from you to them.
