What are some tips for getting the most out of the SFI Forum each day?

Dzul, you’ve got it right – visiting the Forum “each day” is essential and definitely what we all should be doing.

What I do in the Forum each day depends on how much time I have. This is the normal routine: -

1. First I read any new items in the “Latest News” that is listed under the ALERTS Tab on my SFI Homepage. And, if there is any, I rate the news item and then go to that news item’s discussion thread in the Forum. I read the comments other SFI Affiliates have made to the news item, respond and add my own. It is vital to keep up-to-date with what is happening in SFI, so this is a priority to me.

2. l then read any notifications that I might have received to my previous Forum Posts and reply to them.

3. Then I scan through the “Latest Threads” listed in today’s Forum and I note the ones I might be particularly interested in. I read these in order of the oldest first (before they drop off the list).

4. And I particularly look for Forum posts whose content covers an area in SFI that I am weak in – thankfully to ALL the wonderful affiliates who post on the Forum, there are lots of these. The Forum is a great way to learn practical things that work.

5. Any Forum post I really like I copy to my SFI Folder on my computer for easy future reference.

6. I also give a “thumbs up” to any post I like and if an affiliate posts quality posts (in my opinion) on a regular basis I “follow” him/her. That means that every time they make a new post at the Forum it appears under the FORUM Tab on my SFI Homepage. I’ve got to admit that I don’t have time to read ALL the posts of the affiliates I follow.

7. But I do read ALL Gery’s Forum posts and his replies.

8. I sometimes search the forum too for a specific answer to a query I have.

9. And I start a few threads too for specific questions I have.

It’s important to me that I earn the one free AVP available each day for checking out the Forum.

And I am so very grateful for the advice that Gery, Lori and Ken - the Forum moderators give. This is a GREAT resource for us. I am always encouraging my team to visit the Forum.

Finally, when I am "out & about" and waiting for someone (my wife, for instance 'LOL') I read Forum posts on my smartphone.

I've grown to LOVE the FORUM. Thank you, EVERYONE, who makes it the GREAT tool that it is!

SFI forum is indeed a very useful place, most especially for new affiliates who have alot of questions to ask with/without the prior help of their sponsors.

Getting the best of the SFI forum on a daily basis is very necessary as it:-

1. Builds your knowledge on certain aspects of SFI.

2. Some of the experienced affiliates share their experencies and how they were able to tackle such challenges.

3. Here you can ask questions and certainly you would get so many responses from our forum gurus.

4. Based on the questions asked and responses received, it will help you guide your team and grow as a Team Leader.

5. Actively reading the forum on a daily basis also helps you and your team members as any new information on Tripleclicks products, adjustment in the existing products price, offers and SFI news is easily discussed in the forum as it throws more light on certain issues.

6. Remember that as you learn, you earn on a daily basis 1 AVP which will help in building your ranks in SFI.

7. When you visit the forum, “like” and comment on forum posts of your choice, and others will reciprocate same way on your own posts.

8. With the forum, based on your questions answered, by any of the forum gurus with simple, clear and concise answers, you can add them as A2A friends as they can help you build your SFI business.

9. As a good sponsor, you can bookmark some of the information received in the forum and send as a weekly mail to active affiliates in your team which will help them as well in their own businesses.

The beauty about the forum is that each affiliate are treated as a family and as a family, a commumity. It's indeed what makes the forum a great place to learn.

SFI Forum is one goldmine of information that any serious affiliate cannot afford to ignore. The information you get at the forum is mostly hands-on information which is very valuable. What other affiliates have experienced and how they went about solving the problems always comes out very clearly at the Forum. To get the most out of SFI Forum, I will like to recommend the following.

1. Visit the forum every day, every single day without fail.
2. Ask any question which bothers your mind about your SFI business at the forum.
3. Follow forum gurus and all other affiliates who are more experienced than you in the business.
4. Open an offline file for forum information you find useful to grow your business.
5. On the alerts page of your site, daily check for interesting new topics at the forum to read.
6. Check out the hot threads and new posts too from same page.
7. When you make a posting at the forum, tick the alert button which enables you to receive messages about all new posts on your post.
8. Never miss the posts from the Forum Moderator Mr. Gery Carson, they are a goldmine of information.
9. Habitually “like” and comment on forum posts of your choice, and others will reciprocate same way on your own posts.
10. Try to establish a more personal relationship with any member of the Forum you believe can be of help to you in growing your SFI business.

Thank you for asking the question. It is very important that affiliates who are skeptical and doubtful about the usefulness of SFI forum are given some clarification. I have couple of tips to offer here about the value of forum as it has been to me.
1. I gain a lot of added knowledge, wisdom and insights from the points shared at the forum concerning issues of concern. I click on the issues that interest me, and I scan through the information shared. Sometimes, if I feel that I have something valuable to contribute, then I do so. These Ideas and experienced shared at the forum are very useful and helpful indeed.
2. At times, I give thumbs up to the comments and statements posted. I try my best to at least encourage those who put up the posts by adding a thumbs up sign to their post. This thumbs up sign is a way of appreciating the efforts of the author of the post. In so doing, we are also encouraging them to contribute more to the forum. They (authors of the posts) need to feel that their efforts in providing needed support at the forum are not vain effort. We value and appreciated them indeed.
3. The third point is very important to those who are particularly handicapped in English. The forum has created an avenue for those country grouping to get into their country groups, or language groupings and share with those who are seeking help but can not communicate well in English. Their country affiliates who have been long enough in SFI and have essential knowledge and experience to share and answer questions can contribute meaningfully to their fellow countrymen and women. Say for example for those of us in Indonesia, we are able to get into the Bahasa Indonesian forum and share there in bahasa Indonesia. We in so doing have helped many and consolidated our affiliates to have a strong SFI affiliates base and have revived those who were not so very active at all here in Indonesia. Though Indonesia is ranked 10 in the world, we hope this rating will improve in the future as we help clear some doubt and skepticism in many, so they can realize their respective dreams of life through SFI. SFI is not hoax, its real man!
4. I feel particularly encouraging when I have a thumbs up sign besides the posts that I post in the forum. It shows that others value my comments and like it. When I see this thumbs up sign, it encourages me on to share all the more and contribute meaningfully in the forum.
5. I get more practical realities at the forum as affiliates share about there experiences. Its reality that matters more to me than anything else. I can load myself up with all the latest state of the art theories that intellectual materials can offer me, but if those theories are not practically viable, then they are practically useless to me.
6. When we help answer the problems and questions of fellow affiliates at the forum, we help them grow. And the more they grow and become successful, they intend share their knowledge and experiences to their down line. Its a chain reaction, that can viral and spin exponentially. The more they grow, the more SFI grows and in return we are able to share a bigger share of the cake in terms of commission, and other benefits.
These are what I can offer in the mean time and I sincerely hope that these tips have shed some light and broaden our horizons about the usefulness of SFI forum.

The Forum for me is an Educational Workshop, a Daily Newstand or a Q&A (Question & Answer) session that brings across thoughts, sentiments and feedback from affiliates globally. The major part of its existence is the presence of the Founder, Gery Carson and his team who interact with members on a daily basis. This is where you will receive upto date information on what is going on in SFI and TripleClicks as well as in the World beyond this business.

1. Visit the Forum at least a few times in the day-there is information and threads for discussions as new developments are announced and this is where your opinion matters.

2. Your concerns are not going to deaf ears - they get heard in the Forum through the ASK Gery category where you are posing questions directly to the Founder.

3. It is easy to see where you can find answers to your questions by going to the appropriate category - you can also search any topic within the Forum and this simplifies your difficulties.

4. You can also bookmark important threads which you can refer to later on or pass them to your team members.

5. There are different discussions going on every hour from affiliates who face issues that you might also have. This helps to make your journey in the business an interesting one. You are not alone, there is terrific support from everyone.

6. We have, sometimes personal issues that are highlighted by members and affiliates globally encourage and motivate the individual affiliate.

7. You learn to value the primary rule of the Forum - that is to keep discussions positive and this enhances your own performance outside SFI.

The Forum is an excellent resource for all affiliates and I have found it to be of benefit in 2 ways:

1. Topic discussions enable me to search for a topic and read to benefit from the knowledge of other affiliates who are SFI business owners with more years and less years of experience than me. Knowledge transfer saves me time to consider what strategies work and do not work as an on-line business owner.

2. Topics enable me to add my own answers for others to read and provide feed-back on so by default it becomes a business consultation process without having to pay a consultant fee. The more that I participate as writer the more comfortable I become with my skills as a writer, presenter and business owner which then supports my role as an entrepreneur.

With these two benefits in mind, I find that the forum gives me the following:

Strategies that are specific to issues that I struggle with

Review of possible road-blocks with solutions shared by other affiliates thus saving me time and future frustrations

Align your Forum search to what will help you get closer to your business goals for the day, week, month, or year so you are focusing your efforts on something rather than all things to become overwhelmed

Connect with other affiliates who are successful in areas that you wish to be - use the Forum to find a mentor and to guide your choices to creating a Master Mind Group to be used on-going for coaching needs, consultation, or bouncing ideas off of

Find topics that are of interest to you and read the threads to find gems that you can incorporate into your business

Direct your down line members to topics that may be of interest to them to respond to on-going repeated FAQ that you receive - use the Forum as a way to highlight solutions to problems and send out as part of your weekly team mailer

The Forum is a universal resource which has so much so don't be afraid to ask others how he or she has benefited from the posts too.

The forum provides an absolute wealth of information and is one of your very best resources for growing your SFI business.

Firstly, keep up-to-date with the SFI News category so you know of any new announcements or developments.

You can spend some time each day browsing new forum posts, and will undoubtedly discover or learn something new, or you could have a topic in mind and use the forum Search facility to find posts related to your chosen topic.

If you have your own question in mind, and don't find it already answered, then do ask it. You will get answers usually within minutes from other affiliates who are more than willing to help you.

Apart from the obvious uses I have already described, the following features will really enhance your forum experience, and probably save you much time in the long run.

- Use Bookmarks
When you find a post that gives you really helpful information, click on the Bookmark button below the post to save it and refer back to. Not only will this help you directly, but you can also recommend that post to your team, in your Stream, in your newsletters or if somebody asks you directly for advice you can refer them to that post.

- Follow other knowledgeable affiliates
When you notice that somebody regularly gives good, clear, understandable advice in the Forum, click on the + sign next to their name to Follow them. You can then easily access all their posts from your Follows tab.

- Check your PSAs & CSAs tab regularly
This will help you support your downline directly. You don't have to add anybody to this, they will be there automatically if they are in your downline. If you see your PSAs or CSAs posting, but they may not have contacted you directly, you can contact them by email or 'Here to Help' ecard and help them with their enquiry, or praise them for actively using the forum. This will let them know you are interested in their activity and are a proactive and supportive member of their upline.

The best way to get the most out of the forum is by contributing to the forum posts, sharing your own thoughts and knowledge. This you can do by replying to forum posts.

You can contribute by sharing your knowledge and tips to others who are "Asking For Help," and follow their threads. Remember Others are also responding to the same request for help, so think about what you may learn from them.

When you reply to a forum post you can generate feedback from others who respond to your comments. Without being aware you are brainstorming.

Even if you are not correct in a comment, you will be enlightened by others who are also commenting. Gery will be there to set it straight.

You can also benefit by posting your own questions in the forum and following the posts. If a post asks for clarification, respond promptly, those who are seeking clarification are probably holding on to something important they want to share.

Acknowledge the posts that have answered your question and let the forum know how the thread has helped you. Take time to revisit the thread.

Many forum writers open a thread and don't bother to respond or look back. This is not good.

Follow others who have influenced you in a positive way, not just the gurus.
