Both could be excellent tools in initiating the momentum that will lead to substantial amount of activities in your organization. To maximize the potential effectiveness of TW, do the following steps:

- When you sign up to TW program, your new PSAs will be presented with your TCredits gift and a screen will appear at the instant your new PSA has submitted his or her registration to join your team. Immediately get in touch with him/her through SFIM and let them know how you can be of help.

- Be prepared to explain to them how they can use the TCredits in a clear and concise manner. First of all they may not be familiar about TCredits and they may not remember what they have read on the screen.

- Give them a short introduction and clear orientation about some of the key elements of SFI by walking them through the Eager Zebra games, Pricebenders auction, TC music download, etc. This is very important while they are at their highest interest level of getting a firsthand look on SFI.

There are both pros and cons with these two mentioned newly developed programs by SFI to encourage and motivate newly appointed SFI affiliates to become and remain active in SFI by their sponsors.

TW: T-Credits Welcome: This is much better from business point of view to newly appointed affiliates as they can utilize the offered T-Credits by their sponsors to get a feel of TC EZ games and PB auctions. A maximum of 10 T-Credits can be offered by a sponsor to a newly sponsored affiliate and it shall be used within 24 hours from being offered. Hence, it’s a pull for new serious affiliates to kick start their SFI/TC and get a feel of things which they have to do regularly to keep up their pace/rank in SFI. This is also advantageous in the sense that incase the offered T-Credits remain unused they will be returned back to the sponsor within 24 hours. This process is best when you know an affiliate personally or recruited via warm marketing- maybe your friends or colleagues etc. However, TW program shall not be beneficial to a newly appointed affiliate who has no idea about SFI or recruited online via cold marketing to start with.

CW: Cash Welcome: This is the latest program developed by SFI to provide $1 to newly sponsored affiliate at the cost of 2 T-Credits by the sponsor. This method is useful when affiliates are recruited by Free or Paid advertising or thru S-Builder Co-op. This is given to just create a pull towards SFI and remain active after joining. However, the newly sponsored affiliate will neither be able to make use this $1 as it will be in their TC account and nor the sponsor providing $1 to the new affiliate can regain the same back incase the offered affiliate remains inactive.

Conclusion: Technically TW program is better suited for newly appointed serious affiliates who want to build their business and career with SFI. However, it’s the sole discretion of the sponsors whether to apply TW or CW program depending on the type of PSA’s they are recruiting. Since, both the programs are new and therefore shall go via several trial and error methods before one stands out the other.

We have a lifetime limit of 10 TCredits per affiliate that we can give out for any reason. Therefore it is important to be able to use these to reward them for actual work they have done. If you use the the TW option, you will be using 3-9 of your allotted TCredits for that affiliate. Then to, the TCredits will come back to you if the new affiliate does not use them within the first 24 hours they are an affiliate of SFI.

The other big reason to not use this option is that new affiliates have no idea what is a TCredit, or member listing, and may not be interested Pricebenders auction, music download, etc. Of the few that have opted to take my offer of TCredits, none have used them. They do get a letter explaining about the TCredits and how to use them right at the start. But I think too many new affiliates read with their eyes or brain closed and never get what it is saying.

One the other hand, it looks like none of my takers of the CW is going to end up with the money either. The money concept is easier for new affiliates to comprehend and even though we do not have the 2 TCredits returned to us, I much prefer using this option as a welcoming gesture to my new affiliates.

Both of these options either take time away from the new affiliate finding what he is to do next, or are put on hold and forgotten. In spite of the opening letter from SFI, it is wise for the sponsor to add to his welcome letter and explain how these options are done, (remember we can offer only one of them) and the urgency of action, remembering also the urgency of action for the FastTrack.

It is human nature to enjoy cash prizes, freebies and rewards.

The CW (Cash Welcome is a cash reward to be awarded to the new sign-up when they earn their first commission check. It is an incentive to work towards that goal, thus making that new affiliate active.

The Tcredits Welcome (TW) is an instant reward available to the new affiliate as soon as they sign up. It is up to them to accept the reward or decline it. By accepting the reward (incentive) they will very likely learn how to use it and get them to be active affiliates.

Hence both TW and CW are new tools available to us, SFI sponsors, in our quest to get active as many as of our new sign-up and thus solve one of the major problems we are facing in our team building efforts: raise the percentage of active affiliates and significantly lower the percentage of those who may remain inactive.

A cash reward may seemingly be more attractive to many people, as they will not likely make the effort to assess the overall value of CW compared to TW. Intrinsically,with its $12 cash value, the TW is a great prize. But again people may not focus on that aspect

But, both TW and CW appeal to human psychology. They are well thought team building tools but, but introduced just in the past short few weeks and still in their test phase.

Beside their comparative monetary value, it is too early to draw conclusion on whether they are effective, whether they will have a great impact on our efforts and results to increase the percentage of our active affiliates or not. There is not enough evidence to conclude which of the two, TW or CW will be more effective, thus best to use.Before making such determination, Any preference between the two will be based merely on personal opinion and inclination.

Before expressing any opinion as to which one is better, I personally prefer to wait and observe the results after we have enough data and feedback on which to base our objective decision.

My recommendation is to be patient, and, alternatively, use TW for some sign-up and CW or others. After 6 months or so, there will be enough data to objectively make a sound judgment about these new tools.

We thank SFI Corporate for introducing them and making them available to us as sponsors, but leaving it up to each one us of us whether to use them, and which one to use. That flexibility is part of what will make these new tools both handy and effective,

In my opinion the CW is the best.

Here is my reasoning:

When you give TW they can use it to play games or bid or maybe purchase something and earn a few VP and maybe some MRP.

When you give CW they can use it to purchase T-credits - 1 single = 102 VP
They can then use the T-credits to earn more VP and MRP
They can use the MRP to purchase more T-credits, and again more VP

This means they are using the original gift over and over again.

You can go and check this for yourself. Take a gift of $10.00. How many single T-credits can you purchase? (how many VP do you earn?) If you use those T-credits to earn double MRP and then use MRP to purchase more T-credits (more VP). Do the same with a gift of 10 T-credits will cost you about $20.00) and see how much you can earn. To me the answer is very obvious.

Both TCredits Welcome and Cash Welcome are good. I do not think any one is necessarily better than the other. In the one case, TW, your TCredits come back to you if they are not used by new affiliates in 24 hours. In the other case, the cash is offered (CW) by using TCredits, which do not get returned to you, but the cash offer may be more meaningful to new affiliates.

These are very new features added to SFI, and time will tell as to how effective these are. You should feel free to decide if you want to use them or not. You might want to try one for awhile and then the other, to see if they work for you.

First of all, let me compare which one is more attractive to have a possible new sign ups on your team. When we say "Cash" as a majority people would love to receive a cash instead of Tcredits. One thing is that new affiliates do not know yet the value of of tcredits in SFI. So it would prefer to be, mostly our members will use Cash welcome to our new affiliates which is more attractive to them. In contrast, to the effect of using this is that....

Second thing is that, by using of cash welcome is not advisable because it might be the outcome of being abused by other opportunist individuals by just playing Cash Welcome as their source of money that will cause our marketing be ruined by the outsiders which is the main purpose only is to claim cash welcome but they will not pursue in joining SFI. But SFI will not tolerate this kind of situation and i know putting Cash Welcome SFI has the accurate outcome of adding Cash Welcome to our tools to attract new affiliates. Honestly, the choice between TCredits Welcome and Cash Welcome is a trade-off with a number of facets you can consider:

* With TCredits Welcome, you can choose to give 3 to 9 TCredits to your new PSAs, which is more flexible than the Cash Welcome's one-dollar value.

* On the other hand, the TCredits awarded have to be used within 24 hours. This can either: (a) encourage the new PSA to explore TripleClicks, place a member listing and start earning money, play with the games, and download music, or (b) add to the PSA's sense of being overwhelmed and wind up being a waste of TCredits. Given that the TCredits Welcome is also slightly more expensive, this may seem like something of an added risk.

* The Cash Welcome, on the other hand, has as its only real downside that the one dollar sits passively where the TCredits encourages immediate action.

My own preference is for the Cash Welcome because I use something the following strategy: In addition to the Cash Welcome, when I send out my welcome e-mail, I offer my PSAs an unspecified "welcome gift" if they reply back to me immediately. That gift will be in the form of a standard TCredit assignment; I will then, as part of their training, teach them how to use those TCredits to place member listings so that they can start earning money straight away and find value in being an SFI affiliate. This promotion is fairly new so there’s no way of knowing yet which is better- using TW (TCredits Welcome) or CW (Cash Welcome) with new affiliates.

However, knowing more about salient features of each will help in understanding them and using them better.

TC Welcome looks easier and may attract more recipients to check TripleClicks and try their hands on Eager Zebra games to see how things work.

It also has the protection of being returned to our accounts if the recipient has not redeemed it within 24 hours of joining.

Not knowing much about TCredits may cause confusion instead of excitement. New people needs to be educated about TCredits and this cannot be attained in 24 hours.

Cash Welcome, on the other hand, has the advantage of being easily understood. Everyone knows the value of a dollar and it’s more direct and plain to see the “starter dollar” offer.

Like TC Welcome, it has the protection of having the system automatically paused once the limit set has been reached.

However, recipients of Cash Welcome cannot use the cash unless they actually become active and earn other commission.

Cash cannot be returned to our account unlike TCredits. It’s considered part of an ad.

To find out which one is better for you, try each promo for a period of time. Only then will you be able to know which promotion is showing the best result in terms of turning them into active and productive workers..

2. Any one signing up, will be pleasantly surprised to learn that they have earned 1$ and that it will be

Conclusion:

1. Of this two, I would prefer Cash Welcome. Liquid money attracts many. It induces any one to be active in order to earn more. Once they are awaken to this fact, they will like to be active.
2. Many will not understand about the value of TCredit and since TCredit can be only used to play games or bid in Pricebenders Auction or buy products the new sign ups will not be that much curious to accept and proceed any further.
3. More over, with limit TCredits being offered as a welcome gift, once they realize that they need more quantity to achieve results, there is no guarantee that they will continue to be active, as they
have to buy Tcredits.
4. Even Cash Welcome is currently offered in USD, since many will not realize the value of USD, SFI has plans to introduce other currencies also, depending upon the response to the current program.
