Having been lucky myself to have a one-team member with me when I just started and having had the experience with other members who do not have a team, I have mixed feelings regarding taking up a leadership role without a team.

You could argue that you can become a Team Leader and then develop your team as you move forward because you will become an example to your team. However, you run the risk of getting discouraged if you do not get active members under you within the first couple

Go for the Bronze and remain there. The reason why I say this is because this is the only one you can have and maintain without a team, if you want to go for the silver then you can do what I did which I cannot explain in detail here because I don't have the time so you can check out my post in the forum for the details. If you go for the silver by following the plan that I did it will be very costly every month but it gave me ten thousand sales VP.

So without a team of active PSA just

Yes, you should go for the rank of team leader asap because when you get there you will have a team! It may be small but it really only takes 5 movers to build a 6 figure income in about 2 years! This said, will your first few members all be superstars? It depends. The key is to keep recruiting and supporting those you have.

There are so many benefits to becoming a team leader but I'll just list a few:

1. More income potential. The larger your active network, the more

Starting as affiliate and EA you have PSAs and CSAs under you as a sponsor and cosponsor. You have a team as appeared in genealogy. You are leader and a sponsor. Any of the team members active or not active is still a team and you are leading them.

Team Leader as BTL, STL, GTL, PTL are not permanent. They depend of your month achievement. They are subjected to change. You have a monthly Standing of 125 tcredits or any other Standing Order in addition to earn a minimum of 1500 vps which

If they are ready to do what it takes to keep that rank yes.

In the first month of membership it's pretty easy to become a Team Leader, you do the actions of your training program and get started on daily, weekly, and monthly actions and you will make it to EA with no issues. You can then place a standing order and be a Bronze Team Leader or higher.

Come month two however you will have to have a plan for getting the remaining action VersaPoints required to maintain Team Leader

I think there is merit in becoming a team leader before one has affiliates in his team. There are some obvious monetary reasons, but they will be very small to non-existent with no real team.

The real value, I feel, of become an early team leader and maintaining it is in preparation for the time when you are actually a team leader. Most new affiliates will look at your profile, see how long you've been in, and what your rank is. They want to be lead by an experienced leader. They are more

SFI team leadership is recognition by SFI of an affiliate’s achievements as proven by his or her record on the following basis:

TL Title Requirements
1 BTL 3,000 to 3, 999 vp with 1500 min/2000 max from sales or purchases
2 STL 4, 000 to 4,999 vp with 1500 min/2, 500 max from sales or purchases
3 GTL 5,000 to 5,999 vp with 1,500 min/3,000 max from sales or purchases

Hi Waleed,
1. Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?" Well this is an interesting & tricky question. Both sides of the coin are true as far as this question goes. Off course each opinion has its own “pros & cons”.
2. As far as my experience goes, I became a BTL at the end of second month after joining SFI. I had opted for the SO of 125 Tcredits @ $36.25 during that month. During the third & fourth months, I had a couple of active

I believe you should go for the rank of Team Leader even if you have no team yet.

Firstly it gives you a booster in building your self confidence.
You will automatically receive CSA's as a result of being a Team Leader,
So you can slowly start learning the responsibilities and you always have
others to help you too, like your Sponsor, Co-Sponsor and further upline.
If all that fails you still have the forum where everyone is very helpful.

There is also plenty

Good day Waleed,

Nice question and i would be quite honest with you.

Being a team leader without a team is usually not advisable cause you bear majority of the cost.

People who join sfi quickly become team leaders and end up becoming affiliates after 2 months as they feel no form of investment is needed. They loose their CSAs (which is one of the perks of being a team leader) once they become affiliate apart from the PSAs they have recruited.

My advice
