This is the same question I have been asking since the day I signed up on December 6 2012. My Sponsor is not an individual person but a business team that never logs in so in my case I have no way of getting my Sponsor to notice me or offer me any guidance.

I read answers to your question from other affiliates saying that you have done lots of achievements here on SFI so I think that this is a way to prove to yourself that you do not need a Sponsor to succeed because if it is to be it is up to me. Only you are responsible for your success.

I read Ask Gery article about this subject and other articles as well and they all say that every SFI affiliate is an independent worker so no one can force your Sponsor to talk to you just like no one can force you to log in and talk to your affiliates so if your problem is the same as mine then you just have to teach yourself.

You also know that you have a co sponsor and other members in your upline team to guide you in my case my Co sponsor has given me guidance and I also have A2a friends that I also connect on Facebook and Skype so if your Sponsor is not there for you, then SFI has staff who can give you the help you need.

I apologize for not being able to answer this question the way you want but I am speaking from my own personal experience. No matter what I do my Sponsor never notices me because they never log in but my co sponsor has noticed my badges, he follows my posts in the forum and sees my participation in Ask SC so if your sponsor has not noticed you despite what you have done then there is nothing you can do but I am sure that others notice you and give you guidance.

So do not despair you do not need your sponsor just like Gery Carson did not need a Sponsor to succeed.

Hi Paul!
Do this two things to get your sponsor to notice you and provide guidance to you.
The first best thing is to contact your sponsor. If your sponsor have a Country Power Rank badge. You can check which country s/he is from and send him/her a message in the language that is most used in his/her country. Some sponsors have problem with English. It become difficult for them to contact their team. If you break the ice he/she might start contacting you and provide guidance.

Some sponsors have loosed hope. They've been trying for some time to help their downline. They sent them messages and gave them incentives. The downline did not respond and/or show any progress. So the next best thing is to 'reactivate' your sponsor.

You reactivate your sponsor by logging into SFI everyday and do your To-Do List. Even if s/he is not contacting you. Just keep on logging in, doing your To-Do List and sending him/her messages. That will keep you on your sponsors Movers List. Always when your sponsor does his/her Red Tabs, your sponsor will see you on his/her Movers List.

That will draw his/her attention and start noticing that you are serious about your business. When s/he notices that you are serious about your business, even if there was something disrupting him/her. S/he shall make means/chance to start helping you and guiding you. He/she will be activated and become active.

First, you can recognize who your sponsor is.at your SFI Affiliate Center Homepage just next to your photograph. You can contact him by clicking his name and there you will enter his Leadership Page.
Using this page, you can send direct email to him for his attention and actions. This is the most effective method to use as your mail will him directly without going outside his mailbox. The chances that you mail delayed or misdirected are very slim. However, he has to check his leadership page now and then.
Secondly, you can SFI mailer service "Contact your sponsor" and "upline" under Support tab on your homepage.
Thirdly, you can chat online with your sponsor using the Chat facility. Make sure that your sponsor is online or you can leave a message.
You can also join in the Forum as you will be linked to your sponsor, upline and a2a friends, and team members.
You can also contact him through his personal email through gmail.com.

Hello,
There are several ways you get your sponsor to notice you. In a way that you do not even need to contact them, instead, he or she will do it.
Just do what you need :
Visit SFI daily to do daily tasks-daily actions, weekly actions and monthly actions
Generate sales in Tripleclicks which will increase your earning and your rank too! In short, grow your SFI business!
Work on your duplication by introducing as many as possible as you teach them what you do to succeed, eventually assuring team success. At this juncture you may need the help of your sponsor to handle your team, he or she will act like your 'old brother' with more experience and exposure. Therefore you need to appreciate that!
When you do that, in my opinion, your sponsor will definitely notice you. Remember your success is tied to you and he or she is therefore interested in your success.

If they are active and still don't notice you, then they are not setting a good example, so they are not the type of sponsor I would be seeking guidance from anyway. Instead, reach out to your co-sponsor, or your up-line, and seek their advice. Ask questions here (as you have done), or search the Forum for relevant threads.

There is a wealth of information available to you at SFI. It's like having a library full of books. Sometimes you just need someone to point you in the right direction to find the information you seek. A good sponsor should at least do that for you, if nothing else.

Having a non-responsive sponsor is the one time when you do NOT want to apply the principle of duplication! Instead, try to become the type of sponsor you wish you had when you first started.

Maybe you can also make a point at the monthly sponsor ratings, did he do a bad job in helping you, rate low,just as a reminder. If he notices, he'll might contact you.

In order to get noticed log in every day and do what you can to learn everything possible. As a sponsor I notice everyone that is taking the responsibility to show up every day.

I send a welcome letter to all new PSAs and CSAs as soon as possible and follow up every few days for a few weeks.

I give all my contact information in each e-mail I send to an affiliate and tell them to contact me if they are unsure about anything, have questions or concerns or just want to talk.

After a while of getting no response from them I don’t send e-mails as often.

The best way for you to get noticed and receive guidance from your sponsor is to respond to his e-mail or send him an e-mail asking for help or information.

My question to your question is this: how exactly do you want to be noticed, and what kind of guidance are you expecting?

This business requires a lot less of you in some ways, and lot more than you'd like in other ways and unless you can accept this and go ahead and work the business so that it brings in a profit doing things you don't want to do it's not going to be paying you very well and you probably will find many things to complain about versus doing whatever it takes whether you like it or not and soaring with success.

This business is incredibly simple, learning while you go but only when you are hard on yourself and make sure you do your to do list daily, choose to afford a simple 20$ standing order whether you think you can afford it or not. Business requires investment to grow. Just do it. You may not understand what we are saying now, but if you choose to follow the instructions you receive you will start 'learning as you go' and you will find your niche and comfort zone to teach your own team. Everyone learns differently so go ahead and learn your own way, but unless you DO something you won't learn something.

Your sponsor probably has noticed you and has tried to give you guidance. I do for every single one of my team members, but unless what I'm giving is what my team is expecting there is going to be misunderstanding so when speaking with your sponsor Be Specific in every subject. It's better to wait until you can specifically state exactly what you're looking for, questions, etc. if you want to avoid lots of misunderstanding and life is like that. Misunderstandings. That's why it's better to not give up. Choose to stay affiliate, earn EA, EA2 every month, earning as much free VP as possible until you're ready to invest, or communicate, or understand the system better. Keep an open mind. When you give up you not only toss away your opportunities, you throw away your chances of success, but unless you're doing something (to do list daily) you won't learn, and don't expect your sponsor to give you much guidance if you can't show him you're willing to do what you can daily until you can invest more time, money, commitment into your business. Your sponsor will notice and guide you when you show them what you can do even if you aren't ready to commit and/or invest.

Can a good sponsor help, yes they can, but is it vital?

What would you do if you planned to open a family owned restaurant or flower shop, gift shop, or even a mobile car wash unit etc.. without purchasing an expensive franchise? Who would be your sponsor? Who would be responsible for teaching you the ropes and guiding your success?

If you were opening a brick and mortar business you would have tools to help your research.

The Internet
The Small Business Administration
The Chamber of Commerce
The Bank you hold a business account with.
Newspapers
Magazines
Books
and other business owners through associations like Rotary Club or Church can all come in handy both for your offline business but also for your online business.

With online business you can find ways to apply all the lessons you would learn to operate a offline business to what you are doing now. You can learn to cut cost, to get your maximum tax credits, to advertise, how to network with other professionals, how to develop a marketing plan, how to market your business online or offline, how to license your business and cover it and you with insurance in case something happens and a loss of work is demanded etc..

With a sponsor you don't know the source of all the information, and the fact is that your sponsor might have joined SFI earlier the same day you joined SFI. In many cases they are as new to online business as you are and are blindly looking for a leader when a wealth of information exist that there is no waiting for is a couple clicks away. They could be you, and if they are lost and waiting for a sponsor to take them by the hand where could they possibly lead you that is of any help?

A strong sponsor is more of a mentor, and that you can get pretty easy for little or no cost. There are folks like me who mentor dozens of people during their careers online without seeking compensation and you can find us on social media sites. A Mentor need not be in the same business as you to be of use to you and it can often be a blessing if they have 3rd party perspective of your offers and can see exactly what your prospects would see without knowing what you know.

So don't spend all your time trying to wake up this person you don't really need, be a student of everything you can get your hands on and be a self built success story because chances are, your current sponsor will need to lean on you to learn more about their business.

Getting your sponsor to notice you has been facilitated by SFI. Your sponsors owes you a lot of obligations to welcome you and express commitment and readiness to be of assistance at you beck and call.

He has to familiarize you with the Getting Started, the Launch Pad lessons New Member Pack, the Intermediate Actions, the Weekly and Monthly Actions and the basic rules including the need for you to become an Executive Affiliate in good time to access the share of Tripleclicks Executive pool, setting up a 1500VP Standing Order and the need to sponsor more affiliates and to duplicate the process to ensure continuity -these should be your expectations.

When you notice that you Sponsor is not living up to these expectations and you have specific requests, you can reach him/her through certified email address or direct chatting. Alternatively you can consult with the Co-Sponsor.

A sponsor that fails to support his downlines risk loosing 100-500 and 30 Action Versa Points respectively for not supporting each personally sponsored team leaders and sending group support messages respectively. Going by the significance of the action versa points in leadership ranking, it is in the interest of any Sponsor to support his downlines.

SFI provides opportunity to rate your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor monthly, it will be necessary to score your sponsor appropriately . This will affect his Top Sponsor Rating either negatively or positively therafter.
