As far as I'm concern, for building your own team, doing your own advertising is far better than buying PSAs. It is cheaper, you can do it while you advertise your business, TripleClicks and TripleClicks products. Even if you buy PSAs anyway, you still have to advertise your business, TripleClicks and TripleClicks products.
Other three main reasons:-
1. When you do your own adverts, you target the kind of people you would like to work with.
2. You put your adverts where you know that you'll get most of the people who speak the languages that you know.
3. If possible, you can put tour adverts in such a way that you can filter 'get rich quick scheme' searchers.
There are many reasons, but I think these are the main ones.

Each method is good. It depends on your circumstances and the people who see ads that are produced. It also depends on how you write your ads and where you place them. Every method is good. If you can place ads and they are successful, good! If you buy affiliates through S-Builder or through ECAs or through Bid and Build or whatever way that SFI provides for us, that's good, too. If you can afford to purchase affiliates and you don't have the time or the know-how to advertise well on websites, then use every available method that SFI and TripleClicks provide.

It is very important to make your decision at the beginning of your business endeavor and to make changes if something does not work well. Just try different ways and see what works for you.

When you are first getting started with SFI, you have a lot on your plate just doing the To Do List and understanding everything that you are reading. To begin sponsoring PSAs at this time, the least time consuming way is to buy the services of other in obtaining PSAs.

But you have to realize that no matter who you buy them from, you have no control over what they were told about signing into SFI. The percentage of sign ups who actually do the work required is quite small, so the cost per active PSA is fairly high.

Never-the-less, if you choose to purchase PSAs, you have several choices. You can buy from TripleClicks either by the PSAs TO GO or the S Builder's Co-op. These PSAs will come to you with no extra work involved, however, the S Builder's Co-op may take you up to about 6 weeks to begin.

You can also purchase PSAs from ECA stores at TripleClicks. Some stores has much practice on recruiting and others stores may not have the skills you expect. Be sure to read all the product reviews for this type of purchase. Again, if all goes correctly with your purchase, you will not have to put any more effort into it.

The other way to purchase PSAs is to participate in an PriceBenders auction and bid to win. The problem with auctions is that you develop the skill to win, therefore you don't win everyone you enter, and they may take several hours to complete.

What I think is by far the better way to go is to do your own advertising, do it as often as you can, and always improve on your methods. You will have to learn how to do it, find places to advertise, and develop a system for tracking your results.

SFI has a great Marketing Methods section to get you started. The Internet Income articles has lots to offer, and the Expert Reports. It also provides a way to track your results by using key codes.

As you transform from being a Newbie into a business person, your advertising skills will improve and you will begin to see results.

To build a strong & deep team, you will need to do both as they are equally important.

You need to prioritize and buying PSAs is on top of the other. By purchasing your PSAs from our very own ECAs, you will have less headache in finding ways to advertise and attracts potential sign-ups. All will be delivered to you as per your order, the minus point is that there will be no guarantee that these PSAs will be active (in reality very few sign-ups will turn up to be active). But, you have to dig deeper to get to your 'gold' PSAs.. the required 5, more would be a blessing!

There is a benefit of buying PSAs too... the 'extra' time created allowing you to concentrate more on your personal advertising, if you choose to, otherwise you can also purchase from ECAs available. All is in your hand, to decide, taking into consideration your goal, your budget and how you would want to run your business.

Increase traffic, although if you want traffic that mostly signs up versus just stops by than that will take time.

People need to hear whatever it is that you're telling them at least 50 times before they will make a decision. If they make a decision before than likely they are hasty and immature or they have a lot of undealt with issues in their life. Possibly dealing with a lot of pain: emotional or physical. Keep this in mind as it will help you wade through it instead of becoming impatient and giving up before a break through.

They are both great steps to take in this business. "Duplication = Compensation". The more time you focus on promoting your business the more chances you have of finding your leaders.

I spend many hours weekly on looking for new avenues online where I can promote my business FREE and I also invest in buying PSA's as often as my budget allows.

The best team building skill you can develop is when you work daily on those goals. Team building takes time and finding good team leaders may take even longer. You success will depend on your personal communication skills you acquire as you grow in this business and the ability to put into practice what you have learned as you go. It is going to depend on your set of skills as to whether buying PSAs or personally sponsoring is best. If you can recruit then you should because you can control the quality of the affiliates you receive much better when you are doing the advertising yourself. But if you can not recruit, then buy them as you can afford them. It is not going to serve your well to do absolutely no sponsoring. The reason is that your sales will be made by you alone. You will have no active network so that you can leverage the efforts of many. Although, you may be an excellent salesperson; you can only sale so much in a certain period.

Yet, if you duplicate yourself; then, you can do multiple times the number of sales and earn 45% of the commission volume generated. This may not seem like much but when you have a few hundred hard working affiliates, you can easily make $500 dollars every month with about 4 hours of work each day.

Moreover, you can always learn how to recruit. In the meantime, I highly suggest participating in some co-op at a level that you can afford. While you will not get many active affiliates quickly with consistency over time, you will get active affiliates. Free advertising is heavily used so the competition is fierce. You have to learn how to become an effective copywriter over time. So while you learn, I'd set a small budget aside to invest in growing my network.

I would recommend buying PSAs to Go (after you set up an SO that includes at least 1 unit of S-Builder Co-op) for $1.99 apiece, maybe 5 or less at a time. Be sure you have the time to lead/mentor each one as they come in, which should be within 5 days of order. Suggest buying 1 per day for however many you want. This way, within a week will have 1 coming daily. Then, do it again!

Your S-Builder PSAs will start coming in 1 or 2/week starting approximately 6 weeks after you order them. During this time, be sure you have studied the sponsoring training so as to be ready for those newbies.

Before the S-Builders start arriving, do the above referenced ordering so that starting 2 or 3 weeks after joining, you will have PSAs coming to you regularly, but slowly enough that you can sponsor them positively and correctly.

Since I am not good at advertising, this would be my chosen method. Slower, to be sure, but can you imagine getting 10 or more in one day?!!?? You and they will be flustered!
Very often, slower is better. You will have more time to get each one off to a good start.

Once you have new incoming PSAs schedule set up, then think about advertising for them, if you have the time, skill and money. Rather, I would suggest advertising for PRMs. Once they join from your advertising, TripleClicks takes over guiding them to where they need to go and what to do.

Sounds pretty win-win to me, not too pricey, nor an overload for anyone!:)

Of course, we all know that advertising to sponsor PSAs is a fundamental aspect of SFI business. In determining how we go about getting these PSAs, one factor we should consider is the quality of these PSAs.

It is needful to say that some PSAs are worthless from the point of recruitment because they were sponsored on the basis of wrong premises. Some advertisers promise quick compensation or something that sounds like "get rich quick" scheme to woo many prospects. You should know that such Affiliates would not have the perseverance and patience to succeed in SFI.

Therefore, the source of the PSAs or the circumstances surrounding the recruitment is of utmost importance. Where you cannot vouch for the accuracy of promises the advertiser made to the prospects, it would not be worthwhile investing in such paid PSAs. Sure, they would just bloat your genealogy and nothing more - inactive!

In the case of your own advertisement, you have the opportunity of presenting the facts to the prospects and emphasizing that it takes sometimes to see appreciable income but that could be a growing residual and leveraged income for life!

Buying PSAs from sincere ECA or corporate SFI help to an extent; but on an average, i discover more activity with my PSAs gotten from my own advertisement.

I would definitely suggest advertising over buying PSAs.

By doing your own advertising you can target the specific group of prospects you would feel most comfortable working with. You can target people who come from the same country/region/language-speaking area and overcome language barriers in this way. You can target prospects of the specific age, gender, marital and family status, living conditions and standard, education, even expectations from SFI business. In other words, by doing your own advertising you can search for prospect whom you can lead best. Having a team of affiliates with whom you can communicate easily and cooperate, learn and grow towards the same or similar goals is definitely an advantage in quality team building.

On the other hand, buying PSAs seems much easier. It requires less time and effort, but also gives weaker results. Buying PSAs is like going on a blind date - you don't have the smallest idea about who you're going to end up with. It might work, if you're lucky, but luck is not enough for building a strong and steady team.

Don't get me wrong, I am not completely against buying PSAs. I just regard it as an addition to classic team building, if one can afford it. But I would never completely rely on building my team by buying PSAs and I wouldn't advise it to anyone.

Nobody can build your team better than you.
