You can confirm that your team members are receiving your emails and other messages by using the following methods:

. Check your inbox after you sent your email- if there is a message from the system that your email undeliverable for some reasons, your message did not go through.

. Your Genealogy will also tell you those who have provided good email address by the green envelope icon shown across their names.

. Post a message through your Stream Post to request new Affiliates to provide correct and working email address and to whitelist [email protected] so that they will not miss any important messages from SFI as well as from you.

. You can also contact them through the social network and by phone if provided and leave a message to contact you.

. If you don't hear from them, leave it at that, but continue sending your weekly messages. It will be a shot in the dark, but that's all you can ever do.

I know you asked this question because we have a lot of PSA who are not active and we wonder if they even read our messages.

This is important to us as sponsors because if we know that at least our messages are read at least we can say that they are there. Unlike if they are not even reading our messages, they are totally not interested.

SFI Messaging system is easy to know. You just go to Message Manager by clicking the Message link just above the three buttons near your profile.

Then click the pull down menu and click on Sent Messages. If the messages you sent is still on bold letter it means the recipient did not read it. All read messages are not in bold letter.

How about in regular email, How can we know that our email was opened?

There are many solutions for this but most will require you to send an HTML type email where a script will be placed in the email itself.

But if you are using G-mail you can tract your email now with RighInbox, you can forget all that fancy HTML email settings, and still be notified when a person opens and reads your email.

RightInbox is a Chrome browser extension for Gmail that will allow you to schedule the sending of an email, and now with the extra feature to track when your email is opened.

It’s very easy to start with, all you need is the Chrome browser, and the RightInbox extension. Just Download and install it.

After Installation is done, open your Gmail Inbox or refresh if it’s already opened. A notification will appear, click ‘Continue’ and then follow the instruction to allow it to access your Gmail.

Now to start tracking your next email, click on ‘Compose’ button in your Gmail Inbox. In the compose area, you will see an additional ‘Track’ button appear in-line with your ‘Send Now’ button. To track this email, simply check the ‘Track’ button before you hit ‘Send Now’.

This is a question that I am sure that all of us would like the answer to. The first and easiest way to be sure your emails are being received is to go to your genealogy and check the colour of the small envelope next to each member. If the envelope is green, it means that the email address of this member has been confirmed as good. If the envelope is white, it means the email address is not confirmed. A red envelope means the email address is invalid whilst a yellow envelope means the email is questionable.

You could choose only to send your messages to those who have confirmed their email address and be very sure that they are being received…..they may or may not be read though. That is another story entirely.

Myself, I send my communications to all of my team members regardless of the colour of the envelopes. I send via the PSA Mailer, the CSA Mailer and then I go to my Genealogy tab and send to the various other generations. I rarely get any replies even if I am offering something for nothing. I have 5 or 6 team members who keep in touch regularly and ask questions.

In this regard, I make my own decision that some people are reluctant to communicate with people they don’t know so what I did was get my own website and do all of my team mails, emails, communications and anything else I wanted to say and I posted them all on my website. I then sent a team mail to all of my downline and gave them the link to my website. I update the website about once weekly and send a team mail telling everyone that it is updated. That way, hopefully curiosity gets the better of them and they login to my website to have a look at what I have to say.

People love to surf the net and perhaps this is a better way of communication.

If the messages do not come back to you it means that the messages have been sent out. You can also send direct emails and ask the team member concerned to reply back to you indicating that they have received your message.

Bear in mind that Group Mail messages have to be approved by SFI and these can take up to 2 days depending on your level within SFI. So don’t be alarmed if you send one out and you do not see confirmation of this on your 'to-do-list' page.

The Streams that you post do not go to emails and the members need to log in and go to the ‘Stream’ tab in order to read these.

The E- cards go to their emails and if they acknowledge the e-cards it means all is OK. They are receiving your emails.

Also have a look at your genealogy page on the extreme right side. You will see the mail icons. When it is coloured green it means that the email has been confirmed as working fine.

If you suspect that certain affiliates are not receiving your messages, have a look at the block list https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/BlockList to see if they have blocked you and if so the reasons why.

You can also try the social media sites to make contact if they are on your list of friends and associates.

It is difficulty to determine whether your team members are receiving your messages when they are inactive or partially active.

I can tell you what I do and find useful and that is to track my email communications to them. For example use a tracking code on your leadership page URL and place it in all your email communication including your team mails. Ask them to click on the link to confirm they received your email. You will then be able to see the number of clicks on that URL.

You can use a shorten URL service, just shorten your leadership Page URL, most of these services have stats of the URL's so you are able to see the number of clicks. Most of them are free.

I use the leadership page because it gives them them the opportunity to benefit from your leadership even if they don't sign in.

You can use the stream:
1-To communicate that you are sending them emails and that they should watch their mail boxes for them.
2-To remind them to whitelist SFI and their sponsor's addresses.

You can communicate with them through regular email such as Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail etc.

A great way to confirm email correspondence would be to include a call to action. This call to action can be a sale, a reply to the email, or some other action that would allow you to find out who within your team has done the action.

If you have invested in an email program than a surefire way would be to check the statistics and reports to see who opened the emails and even clicked the links within the email. Many programs like aWeber and Mail Chimp give detailed statistics on some of the basic email actions such as just opening the email.

I think most people within SFI have not invested in an email program such as these which might be the best recourse for finding out who is opening your emails.

One of the call to actions that my upline has taught me was to ask the recipients to respond to the email once it was read. I will receive a message in my inbox from my team members from this call to action which puts them on my radar as people who are serious about there business.

1. Unless, you get a reply of some sort, there is nothing to confirm that our Team Members receive all our e-mails and other messages.

2. If the messages bounce back then we can know at least that it did not reach certain recipients.

3. We can ask for , "Read Receipts "!! But in most of the cases people just shut this off.

4. We can use SFI's Group Mail System. After sending the messages, at the end of the day or the following day, we can use the Genealogy (My Acct>My Reports>Genealogy) to see if they logged in or not. From this we can conclude whether they would have seen our message or not;

5. Finally, if you are able to see a particular action taking place at the other end (which you communicated in your message) you can conclude safely that your message did reach them in time.

In most of the cases, the fact remains that the recipients never acknowledge the messages.

It is up to you to choose the most appropriate form of communication, depending on the situation. team mail is conceived as a tool of communication with your complete downline. But if you need to share some information with only some of your associates, it will not adjust the playing field of the methods listed above, either through genealogy - according to your selection criteria or personal message.

How will you make sure that the recipient actually received it. For some messages, for example. for team emails, there is a confirmation of the SFI, that the message is approved and forwarded. For some, you may not be sure, but the recipients will most likely occur, giving feedback. If it does not occur .... and you're all done. So you have another sign, the way your associate understands the seriousness of his work.

Go ahead and create your mail in SFI, include your own email address (non-SFI) when sending to your downlines.
When you find your copy in your own email, you know your team should also be receiving them.

How to confirm beyond that? As far as I know, the only way to be 100% sure is if they respond to you. Try asking a question that will definitely require an answer, even if it is only yes or no.

If you want confirmation because they have answered your email with no incentive to do so, you may wait a long time. Inactive/unresponsive downlines are extremely common.

One other way to check whether they are being active or not would be to look up the profile of each one.

Well one way you could do this is use a traceable link to a gift or more training inside your newsletter.

When you do that you will know if anyone in the receiving list clicked on the link and visited the page your URL points to. Among the most trusted for this purpose is goo.gl but you can also get tracking links form industry providers like Apsense as well.

Another good way to know if your message is getting read is to ask open ended questions and offer a reward for sending their answers to your e-mail address.

The real issue here though is that your team is not responding to your e-mails. Sad to say nothing can make them respond but many will still be reading even if they don't take action. If you want to ensure deliver-ability you need to get a good autoresponder like Aweber or Constant Contact and add new team members to a mailing list. The system will send out a confirmation e-mail and those who confirm will receive your post.

The biggest benefit to using a service like Aweber is that sending links will convert them to tracking links to monitor click through, and e-mail templates from them include a tracking pixel that records who is opening and reading the e-mails as well. Add in the ability to send images and add a professional signature and your e-mails will soon be a delight to receive.

You can even use the auto response features to deliver getting started instructions, special report, and e-books you have give away rights to over the first few months they are an affiliate so your training gets easier and is more complete and uniform among your team.
