Hello Maria....good day to you.

It is all about strong Mentality. This is what i am doing.

A. You have to turn affiliates' EMPLOYEE mentality first.
- Yes...i think this is tough question actually and it is really need strong mentality, the Employee Mentality is a hard habit to break, especially for the people who have been an employee for several years and retire as an employee.

1. You have to identify the experience you can’t shake, which is exactly what I was taught from day one and the people who make money are the ones who take personal responsibility for their businesses, and their decisions. At this stage, we have to duplicate what we have done so far in SFI, and also the best time to inspire your affiliates from Employee Mentality to become their own SFI BUSINESS OWNER mentality. Meaning to say your downline takes seriously about SFI as their Future Internet Business.

2. You have to make sure you surround yourself with those SFI experiences and be ready for those people who end up on the internet whining are the ones who apparently take advice as if it was orders and then complain they spent too much money.

3. Make connections and be ready. These are the folk who say things like “you have to do this” and “you must buy this” and “you’re expected to do this”, abrogating their decision making responsibility and pretending it was somebody else’s job. That is the difference between “employee” mentality and “business owner” mentality. People will discourage you, but forget them and Keep your eye on your goal and don’t stop. Or in other way we have to lead by example in SFI Business and keep find role models and people you can learn from.

4. I absolutely commend those that are focusing on retail sales. THAT is business!!! But from what I have seen it seems to fairly uncommon. So how do you get around that and help your team members start acting like Business Owners and not Employees? Business Owners earn revenue by actually producing, whether they show up at an office or do their work from home.

5.  No need for personal growth? As a business owner, if you are not dedicating time to improving your education, you are headed for disaster. Why? Because your competition is improving, they are constantly scouring the market to see what is new. They are implementing what they've learned into their product/service line. They are making their business better day by day. This can only be done be improving your own knowledge. If you stay ahead of the game, you stay ahead of your competition.
 
6. No personal sacrifice? If you aren’t prepared to miss your child’s play because of a crucial business meeting, don’t become a business owner. If you aren’t prepared to take a step back financially in order to eventually move forward financially, don’t become a business owner. If you aren’t prepared to work a 60 hour work week, don’t become a business owner. If you aren’t prepared to spend time educating yourself on an ongoing basis, don’t become a business owner.
 
And finally, here is what I believe every business owner should ask themselves,

I suggest you to redefine your judgement on mentality of the SFI Affiliates. It is since 'matching wavelength' is the only one aspect an individual can seek on earth,
always.

Best thing you can do is to go to 'Hot Spots' action on your home page everyday and access 'Genealogy', where you can discover the spectrum of wavelengths, the various
affiliates in your down-line keep placing on record (in their VP Ledger). You will find few of them interested in only sales, many in just trying to recruit and most ignoring their daily actions.

You need to inspire them in their own way, about the 'Action VPs': the major element of success in SFI. That is, by praising them for what they are doing (sales, recruiting, participation in games and so on) and slowly turning their attention towards Action VPs. Few could be turned within a moderate space of time, while many will not turn even after long long attempts. But let us not give up our efforts at any cost.

Only avenue to the success is endurance. Hope this helps.

I think the best way to do this is to impress on your affiliates the fact that it is their business. Whatever they do in this business is up to them (within certain guidelines).

They have their own store already filled with products, to which they can add some of their own, ready to sell. Nobody is going to tell them how or when to sell them. This decision is down to them.

They are their own boss working within a frame that has proved to be successful for the past 16 years.

You must impress on them that it is their business and keep reminding them. They will only get out the equivalent of what they put into the business.

Those that can afford a monthly outgoing to ensure they are EA or above are likely to do much better than those who do not. Business grows better with investment and they are investing in their own business and not someone Else's.

Well, in my view,it is rather difficult to turn someone who "receives" on a monthly basis to start thinking in the same way as a person who take risk "giving out" his resources to build a business regardless of whether it makes profit or not.

What can be done to Affiliates who are employees is to ask them to see SFI as their side business where a small part of their earnings has to go into, thereby giving them a sense of being their own boss and controlling their own income in the long run.

This however would only work for such affiliates who had intentions to quit their jobs early in life, not those who plan towards retirement and to earn pensions "so to speak".

After all said, please know that everyone`s plans & focus differs just as our Thumbprints does, you cant carry everyone along in your own way, the effort and zeal has to come from the steadfast affiliate.

Just keep encouraging them nevertheless, people do change ;)

In order to change a person's mindset, whether or he or she is an affiliate, a customer, or prospect, you must first develop enough of a rapport with that person, which means, to a degree coming to like and understand that person enough to be able to communicate on that person's level, and doing so, open him or her up to the ideas you wish to share. Generally, this works best on a one-on-one basis as opposed to a multi-person mail-out.

I tend to find Skype or a Yahoo chat, complete with video and voice, is most effective because I can see my affiliate's body-language, hear his or her tone of voice, and that lets me get my ideas across most easily. If I can't manage that, it's text chat, or failing that, an individual e-mail. Regardless, though, the most important thing is to *appreciate* the person as a person.

As for developing a "Business Ownership" mentality, the best way to do that is to develop methods that give the person a sense of control--for this, my best suggestion would be to encourage them to list more merchandise on TripleClicks, so they feel like proprietors of their own stores. Your method may vary, but that feeling of control over of one's own destiny is priceless.

In my opinion you can’t. There are Workers and Leaders in other word.
Since all employees don’t have failure mentality and all business owners
Don’t have successful mentality. You can find both success and failure
In both sector.

But for one business to survive you need both, they go hand to hand.
You need Employee, and you need Business owner.
But if you want to change Employee mentality to business mentality
The change has to come from with in. One have to have the desire to
Transform him/herself to the Business Owner Mentality.

But what is the set back for employees not to own business, I believe
It is the security of living standard that’s comes being employee, such
As guaranteed pay, vacation. Sick leave, medical Insurance ( By the
Way the most staying reason ) are hard to walk away.

They are dependent on someone leadership roll, they are plugged
in on owners outlet and hard to plug out and to stand on their own.
Don't believe they can survive without working for someone, The risk
of losing what I mentioned above and start from scratch.

The responsibility comes with ownership, the fear to handle the business
And lead people since the main purpose is leadership, not having confidence
And experience all these are obstacles to transform.

What you can do is let them to be where they want to be till they feel
confidence about themselves to take a better roll and guide them
Through long process and give them responsibility to manage minor things
And keep developing them to a higher position overtime.

Some no mater how much you try they will go back as an employee also
Some will advance once they get the concept to advance, but in either
way, the Change has to come from with in. That the only way to have not only
Business owner mentality but Successful Business Ownership mentality.

We can try by explaining to Affiliates the difference between having a job, and having a business.

It is understandable for affiliates who have a job to have the EMPLOYEE mentality when they joined SFI.

They are used to reporting for work everyday, to do a set job in accordance with the job descriptions of their positions, to work for a boss who decides their suitability for advancement and receive a set weekly or fortnightly pay, and must be productive, proactive and work hard for the success of the company.

It's when they joined SFI and discover the big difference between being an employee and a business owner. A lot of new affiliates who are still operating with an EMPLOYEE mentality will need a lot of educating and convincing that now they are no longer working for someone else, but for themselves. That being BUSINESS OWNERS carries with it certain responsibilities, investment and commitment that they alone can give in order to succeed.

Unlike before, they now have to make decisions, develop maturity and learn how to become effective leaders, develop good working habits and learn more and read more.

They now learn that their success lie in their hands alone. Once they start to enjoy success by earning more and helping their team to learn and earn, turning their EMPLOYEE mentality to BUSINESS OWNER will be much easier.

That's a great question.

1st of i would say, most people, either have it or not.
The fact that a lot of us, are doing are best, and are actively working with sfi, promoting, sponsoring, and trying to build an active team of affiliates, shows, or better, proves, that we have the business owner menatlity.

We believe, we will succeed, however long it takes, or which ever roadblocks we have to go trough.

The ones with the employee mentality though are a harder nut to crack. I think one of the best ways is to lead them by example. Tell or show them your results, but be honest about how long it took you, and what you did to achieve this.

I always try to make clear, that at the end of the line, being a business owner is far more profitable, and this is the chance to change their lives for the better. All they have to do, is think and act like a business owner, and by doing so, they will become one. (think and grow rich).

it is off course no guarantee, it works, yet, when they see all the badges and team leader titles, most of these people, will look up to you in some kind of way.

So if they really have the desire to chance, to succeed, they must be willing to make a change of mind.

If noty, well to bad, they've wasted a great chance.

To change this mentality you need to nuture and bring out the confidence in the people that they can do something on their own using their own initiative.

Encourage them, give them the steps to build their business, spoon feed them if you have to, but do not "do it" for them, they need to be encouraged to to it for themselves. When the reward comes through the pleasure and satisfaction will be 100 times better.

I hope this helps you to encourage your downline to be business people not employees.

Being an employee and being an entrepreneur are two completely different things.

SFI is WORK meaning you get what you put in.Becoming a business Owner or Entrepreneur.

An employee gives of his time for a specific wage(does not need to do any thing just
needs to be there)

An entrepreneur on the other hand creates their own wage or pays them-self.(needs to
make valuable use of their time.

For in the end an employer suffers from delinquent employees and an entrepreneur
suffers when delinquent.

The only way to let an affiliate see this is to explain the difference .As their sponsor you give them tips and hints about improving and achieving.Wait and see their
response for at the end of the day you cannot make or turn someone into something
they do not want or have no interest in.The individual needs to want this as much as
you want it for them.Always remember

"You can take a cow to the pond but you cannot make it drink!'
