For me, the ads that seem to get the most people to sign up to SFI are the ones that
- emphasize the fact that it is Free. People love to get something for nothing : freebies.
- highlights personal freedom such as: work the hours you like; work from home or anywhere; no need to commute to work; not answerable to a boss; no deadlines set by someone else; no corporate uniform, wear what you want; work full time or part time.

I also use some of the information contained in the 'Comparison Chart' That seems to work especially residual income and being able to pass on the business to a loved one.

I make it very clear in the ads that this is not a 'get rich quick' scheme, that I don't want tyre kickers, I want people who are serious and prepared to work. I believe that helps towards ensuring that I get quality affiliates although I still get many who do not last the distance. They see what needs to be done and they run. I hope they get whatever they are searching for.

In all advertising it is essential to determine your target audience and then decide on the medium of advertisement. For example, retired people have time on their hand and talking to them could be a good option, so also ads in newspapers as many of them read a lot.

Your advertisement must start with an attention captivating sentence/phrase - one that appeals to the person. A retired person may be concerned that he is now doing nothing productive or may be worried about his financial position. Therefore a catch line about a new source of income or about using time to generate income may attract attention.

All ads should give contact details for registration as affiliates or posting queries regarding the program.

Most importantly get started as soon as possible without waiting to plan too much as no ad is worth until and unless is it put out for all to see.

Well the below are some of the more effective ads that have been fruitful in sponsoring Quality Affiliates for me But a word of caveat that there is no iron clad guarantee that it will surely work as it's still the Pareto principle 80/20 in place so we have to keep fine tuning an d tweaking it till it brings in what you wanted and as Ross Perot once said " as eagles don't flock you got to find one at a time" likewise to find quality affiliates there are no hard and fast rules on what can work as long as it brings in then it's a good ad anyway it's also a numbers game so we have to keep posting ads everyday if possible and embrace the following in mind:

I have ran many ads and some have done great and some have done terribly.

I am still new to SFI and most of it has been trial and error. My advice would be to look at the template ads given to you by SFI and also to try to come up with your own. Reading other ads does not hurt either, just don't let other peoples ads sneak into yours. Put a new and original spin on it to make it your own. Also keep in mind the KISS method when coming up with ads. KISS stands for Keep It Simple Sally.

Also do not forget, and I can not stress this enough, because this is where you will get your best feedback - become familiar with key codes and hit tracking. This will let you know what is working and where it is working. Without these two things you're chances of success will be greatly diminished. Keep what works and quit doing what doesn't work!

I would say without a shadow of doubt "word of mouth" ADs are probably the best and most effective if you are targeting affiliates who will take up the SFI Challenge.

This means:-

I can spend 2 hours or more explaining the SFI concept to my friends - this is usually a physical meeting
It strengthens the trust you will develop with the affiliate
Honesty in my explanations will be instrumental in the quality I will get in my Affiliates
How you portray the business opportunity will be vital
Friends, especially close ones are likely to drive your business because of the personal connection you have with them
Meeting people at random through traffic exchanges has, in my view not been one of my favorite advertising initiatives

This interaction is a guaranteed sign up and is far better than writing out an Ad.

People have different inhibitions they need to overcome and these are tackled well through personal contact. When you receive referrals through word of mouth advertising, it has a very positive impact to work with affiliates who come to you because they learnt of your success through a regular email you may have sent out to friends in your network.

- Web traffic

Your web traffic characterizes people that are looking for ways to make money from home. The more targeted your web traffic, the more leads your lead capture page will generate and the more responsive the leads will be when you prospect them.

- Lead Capture Page Format and Layout

A good lead capture page must be visible in a single screen of the browser avoiding scrolling to see the full capture page. Your headline and sub-headline must have enough information to attract your prospect. A very important part of your lead capture page is the web inquiry form. It should include the prospect’s name, email and phone. A video of testimonials relating to the prospect will increase the chances for your signing up your prospects. If you are advertising you need to realize these people are signing up with no more information than what is on your gateway page. They are curious and may be interested in SFI if they get the right information. In short they are leads for your business and this is your opportunity to fill their minds with well timed knowledge so they can choose to become an active affiliate.

Quality is found not in the ad but in the target market.

If you are only placing ads in free classifieds and traffic exchanges and places people without money go to learn how to get money, you will get people who's education has not afforded them enough success to not need money and who have no money to invest. Thus they join but their growth is slow if any as their skills are low, comprehension may be as low, and ability is questionable.

If you go to marketing publications, and sites like College Humor and make it a mission to get in front of educated and somewhat successful people you will find fast starters with a great deal of comprehension, and the ability to invest and grow rapidly.

Sad to say the best way to reach them immediately is through costly targeted advertising buys, but long term you can educate your own mind and blog about things that would interest that type of recruit and use your informed following to fill your downlines with leaders.

Really a very thoughtful question.

The quality affiliates get enrolled or sponsored by reading quality ads. I had joined SFI in 2000 once but had to quit due to a financial crunch when my daughter was big enough to be married.

Second time after a long gap of 11 years, I once again joined SFI in 2011. The quality affiliates even come back after years. Such is the reputation of SFI Affiliate Business. Its not a Get Quick Rich Scheme.

Now the real question is what ads are most effective in sponsoring quality affiliates? It’s not really ads that matter, it’s the quality affiliates that matter.

Whenever they see or come across an SFI ads and if they know well about SFI, they would automatically jump in SFI. That’s my opinion.

But for new generation who may not have heard of SFI, we need some quality ads such as those quoting the truth and truth only.

Here are some examples:

1. Sell your unwanted stuff.
2. Open your own profitable store like eBay and Amazon.
3. Buy quality and branded items in Penny Auctions
4. Honey, I fired my Boss after 2 years !!
5. Grow a second income check from the luxury of your home
6. Start getting Two Grand after 2 years of your own business
7. Learn how to grow Internet Income for FREE
8. Join a Business where every person is joining from around 200 countries all 24x7 hours.
9. Join a Revolutionary Business where people are joining Round-the-Clock evey 25-30 seconds from all over the world.
10. Join a 16 years old Trusted Internet Business.

You can think many such headings, but remain true to yourself and SFI
