We are all born the same, nobody are born as Team Leader.
To be a Team Leader on your life's journey you need to created yourself.
It is your choice.
Life give us a choice what we will become.
Only geniuses are born as geniuses, like Mozart.

All other people have to work and learn hard and achieve their goals.If you like something and you wish something it is not hard.You will work and learn with joy.
Talented people also need to learn and practice.

There is no leader without followers.
To be a Team Leader you have to create followers.

In the text below is my opinion about how to be a Team Leader.
The Team Leader is the one who has a vision and knows the way and keep the other in this way.

As the Team Leader I must be able to do next steps :

-Understand and respond to changes.
-Build relationships of trust in the group.
-Make establishment of moral values.
-Work on education and training my Team members.
-Provide resources and freedom for all.
-Open for honest communication.
-Look for confidence-building.
-Elimination fear.
-Give motivation.
-Show them enthusiasm and pride in being part of the Team.
These are questions that should always know the answer as a Team Leader!
Purpose : Why are we doing this ?
Goals : Where we want to go?
Priority strategies : How are we going to get there.?

To answer your question, you need to ask why you consider yourself not born to be a leader. There might be many reasons, such as fear, lack of confidence and so on. It’s only you who can find out and change the view of yourself to become a leader.

First you need to know the qualities and skills of a leader:

Good question you have here. But I will like to agree with the saying that "leaders are not born but made". SFI is making leaders because of her well structured program which is designed for that purpose. Anyone who truly dedicates him/herself to SFI will surely become a leader not just in SFI alone but in any endeavor.

Having said that, let us look at some of the qualities of a leader.

1. Commitment

Showing commitment means doing what you want your PSAs to be doing. The message of DUPLICATION is centred around this. By proving your commitment to your business, you will not only earn the respect of your team, but will also instill that same hardworking energy among your PSAs.

2. Communication

Communication plays a big role in the life in the life of every leader.
We are admonished to always communicate with our team either through Genealogy mailer, PSA, CSA mailer and stream post. There are so much training materials in SFI to improve one's communication.

3. Positive Attitude
Making your team happy and upbeat by sharing nice tips, rewarding their hard work with GC, TC means they won't mind those extra hours in doing the daily action points and other activities that improve their business.

These are just some attributes of a leader that SFI instills in every affiliate. Follow the program wholeheartedly, do your daily, weekly and monthly actions, be an awesome sponspr, and you are sure to become a leader with a flourishing team

Nobody is born a leader. You can have an inborn instinct to help others succeed, and that will help you to *become* a leader. It's entirely possible to become an SFI Team Leader on points alone, certainly, but I would hope the *real* question is "How do I become a GOOD SFI Team Leader?"

Now, there's plenty of writing on that here, under "Being an Awesome Sponsor," and there are people who will point you toward "Duplication," and while those documents are helpful in training you (and, eventually, in training others), the real answer is investing yourself in making your team stronger, happier, and more successful... and that may even relate to things outside the standard SFI processes.

For example, I help my active sponsors by doing up "digital business cards" that they can use and even print because doing graphic design is easy for me. It makes them feel good, and I certainly would hope so because I care about them as people, and as I think about more and more ways I can help them succeed and enjoy their time here, I know that they're going to *spend* their time here, and that means continued success for them. That it comes back to me is a bonus for me LEADING THEM to learn how to do this themselves. That's why duplication will happen. That's why I feel like an Awesome Sponsor when I see their ratings for me. Work with them. Get to know them, be a strong part of the team that way, and you will be a GREAT SFI Team Leader.

Most leaders become so because of situations they act on. Being a leader is merely being a worker that others want to follow. To say that you have to be born a leader is a misconception. Leaders come in all different types, shapes, gender, color and whatever. They are those who take advantage of situations, take calculated risks and never give up on gaining a goal. Here are the rules that build leaders:

1. Watch for opportunities to act.

3. Be there for others
4. Be consistent in doing what you set out to do.
5. Be passionate about your work and your goals
6. Convey that passion through communication
7. Don't be afraid to accept responsibility

New born babies never born having a vast knowledge of leadership or any other skill when they look the light of earth first with their surprised views. They achieve it slowly when they enter into the world of education and culture

In one hand it is not necessary that you have to be a businessman or having an existing business to start with SFI and on the other hand you shouldn’t be a qualification of born leader to lead your team in SFI

Leadership is one of the greatest challenge of skill like other profession. SFI leadership is same which you have to gain, achieve to do a brief study and research. There is nothing different. Some Leaders builds team, some leads their country, some do constructive plan, work etc. Above all it is a skill. So don’t worry

Now the question is how do you achieve or acquire this skill?

After join SFI Log daily to start a brief and random study to go through all the free tools and training materials provides by SFI like Start Vedeo, Launchpad, SFI Basics, E-365, Marketing and other white tabs in a black bar at the top of your SFI home page

Log daily into your SFI home page, attend Ask Sc, Forum, TripleClicks to know the unknown and to learn a lot about basic and multiple income stream with a note book & pen

Go through page to page, try to understand, gain idea, note down - if necessary
Never click the blue button at the bottom of each page of red tabs before studied thoroughly.

At the end of the day open when you go to bed revise it which you have noted down in your note book to clear your views and to achieve ideas

Make a Standing Order, recruit peoples to build an awesome team, track their activities, teach them to duplicate yourself, keep touch and contact in a regular basis to reach your support and help to them

And I think you will become a great Team Leader in this way in SFI though you aren’t a born team leader

There are many perspectives to this question but this is my opinion.

You have individuals who have inherent talents and qualities so they are born with those characteristics and therefore it takes little or no effort for them to accomplish those tasks-they just develop the talent over time and become the best in what they choose to do with their talent. Then we have those who work hard to achieve similar results. It's possible to compete with the one who is naturally talented but it depends on you how far you are willing to go to achieve those "best" results.

Similarly, leadership requires qualities that may be inherent in some but can be developed with hard work, commitment and an attitude of willing to create opportunities for others. You can be a born leader but if you are not inclined to take a stand and be at the forefront of what is going on around you, you will stay in your comfort zone and not take a step forward.

SFI is an equal opportunity player and this gives everyone a standard platform which allows you to tap on your potential and become a leader. The time that you spend in duplicating and sponsoring affiliates is the start of your leadership. The qualities you will need to get you to that level of leadership :-
- aggressive marketing initiatives
- never getting dejected or discouraged
- not giving up easily when there are hurdles in SFI
- encouraging and brushing your positive attitude to those who are in your team
- being there for your affiliates when they need help
- having passion for what you believe in and this gives you guaranteed results

A leader is not born. The leader can become over time. You must have developed some specific skills, but they also develop over time.

I think the most important thing to have a VISION, to see the BIGGER picture, to have FAITH in ourselves and our actions. Then radiates irresistible positive energy, uniqueness and splendor attracts people like a magnet.

It is necessary to know how to mobilize people to action and this is achieved by the motivation, knowledge of human psychology, how people react, knowledge of human behavior and the important role which have motives. Motives are what moves us all to do this or that. There are many books written on the topic of motivation, influence on others and leadership, but it is enough to read only one that we become much more clear.

However, with a little organization, a lot of desire for a one person nothing is unattainable. In the end, we are all small leaders in our PRIVATE lives, because there are always people who depend on us: our children, spouses, friends, business associates, etc. We are SPECIAL as we are and in most cases we aren't even aware of the impact we have on the people in our environment.

First, let me personally say that we are not born to be leaders. However, great leaders are born through learning, life experiences and awareness.

Learning:
Learning can be from reading, attending classes or group seminars. Examples of leaders in our everyday life would be Teachers, The President, The CEO of a company, the managers or supervisor in a workplace and many more. Before becoming leaders, this group of people need to educate themselves so as to be qualified of the chosen skills.

Likewise, in SFI we need to educate ourselves, be more familiar with the business scope. By doing so, we are equipping with the skills to pass on the knowledge to the next to-be leaders that is our TEAM.

Life experiences:
You cannot be a leader in a day or two. However with years of experiences in the chosen field would be an advantage to be better and even the best leader you could be. Generally speaking, people tend to look up to leaders with years of experiences.

Therefore, if you fail in SFI don't give up. Learn and learn some more, start from first step. This is not a race, so if you are not an experience marketer, follow the Basic training then move on to Intermediate and Advance. In time, your effort will be paid off. Through your persistence and determination you will be able to guide and relate to your TEAM well as you have the first-hand experience.

Awareness:
Leaders' roles are to be aware of the people around them. Leaders need to be committed, inspire and have a positive attitude.

Be committed to your TEAM, always be ready to communicate and assist your TEAM. This will help to inspire them to work better with a trusted and honest Leader. Most importantly always keep a positive attitude. Sometimes, you do not get the best result but show your TEAM that this is part and parcel of life.

Being Team leader in SFI is not too difficult. All you have to do is learn more & more everyday in SFI. When you have learned something, you will feel confident about teaching your PSAs. Just have a normal chat with your PSAs, encourage & cheer them up, teach them what you have learned. Let them do their work & learn it, you just guide them. You don't do their work, otherwise they will become dependent on you & will never improve. Don not mislead them. Set a proper plan & make sure your down-line members have a plan too and work according with that.

Different people will have different type of communication skills & knowledge. You have to get along with them according to the situations. Never show your frustrations to them, when you feel little frustrated, tell them to chat with you little later or next day. Between you can analyse what is the issue they are having & try to solve their issues.

When they first join, have a look at their daily activities for few days & note them when they make some error. Also do that for the ppl they recruit too. Help your PSAs to deal with their down-line when they could not do it themselves.

Note your active PSAs & spend more time with them. Encourage them, help their down-line. You can also Make reassign, transfer some Tcredits. Set co-op for them, make some contest for your down-line & encourage them to win it. Send, gift-cards, congratulate them when they achieve some task or win something.

Like this, make some activities now & then to encourage your down-line. That is it, you are a good leader.
