What is the best way to begin a new month in SFI and achieve success?

A good question that every SFI Affiliates should be asking themselves.
I want to put in my simple suggestion:

First: rate your Sponsor, Co-Sponsor and SFI. Most of the affiliates do not do this probably because they do not log in daily to know what is really happening at SFI.

Second: start making plans of how you are going to get your 1500 VP's to qualify for EA before the end of the month. And or get 1500 action VP'S and 1500 sales VP's minimum if you are working yourself to BTL and above.

Third: Send T-Mail or E-Cards to all your PSA's to welcome them to the new month and encourage them to log in daily and do their To-Do-List at the SFI Affiliate Center. You can do this to your CSA's also.

Fourth: Advertise, advertise and continue to advertise your business on FB, Twitter, and other website that you have access to.

Finally do not quit or give up be consistent, persevere and endure to the end. Pray always.

This is my suggestion for newbies including me which is what I am doing at this point in time.

Whatever you do, don't drift from month to month. Be deliberate and structured on how you go about running your business.

The first thing that I would recommend doing is to step back and have a look at how you got on the last month. Evaluate your performance during the last month. For those with operational backgrounds - a debrief.

Was it a profitable month? We are here to make money, so this is always an important issue.

Did you achieve your goals for the month?
If you did - how? What did you do well that you can capitalise on? Can you improve on them?
If you did not - why? What did you do wrong? (in order not to repeat them) What could you have done better?

Set you goals for the new month ensuring that they are in line with your overall goal within SFI. What do you want to achieve within the next 30 days?

Make a plan, not just in your head. Write it down and have it prominently displayed where you can see it every day. Make a point of visiting it daily. If you can, run it like a how you would manage a project.

Budget your money and time. Even if money is tight, don't forget to pay yourself! Reward yourself. Put some spirit into your soul!

Remember: A good plan is a flexible plan. There are many things in this world that we can never anticipate regardless of how well prepared we are. Dont be so rigid with your plan. Yes stick to it as much as possible but be flexible enough to adjust depending on the circumstances.

Have all these done at the beginning of the month and the rest should be plain sailing.

I am glad you asked this question. Towards the end of every month we have affiliates requesting help on how to gather the shortfall VPs to either maintain or move to next rank.

I did address this issue with my downline yesterday and posted it on my Leadership Page. The transcript as below:

Growing in your SFI business requires using all of the tools for the job made available by SFI. You must get your feet wet with user friendly tools like, the Start, Basic, LaunchPad, Marketing Aid/Materials, Internet Income Lessons, TripleClicks, etc. Read all the lessons, review and re-read. Remember, Readers are Leaders. Loose the "too busy" to learn excuse. Take responsibility for your actions.

Once you have mastered the lessons, use them.

Track your progress. Check your VP Ledger. Use a monthly planner. Keep a record of your actions. Having it in black and white in front of you, helps you to take the right action to achieve your goals. Use your VP Ledger and Scoreboard as these give insight into the progress you are making towards your success.

I find the best way to begin the month is to take a pad and pen and calculate how you are going to achieve your desired ranking for the month.

For action points take into account:
Your 11 daily VP
Your 38 weekly VP [loaded on a Sunday to multiply it by the number of Sundays in the month]
Your 15 monthly VP
If you have one your 100 SO VP

Then you can caluculate the number of points you are short to achieve your rank and determine how you are going to get them. You can also determine which days to do which extra activities to earn VP in order to maximimise your entries into the Daily Grand. I usually spend about an hour doing this.

I find planning my month ahead of time gives me the motivation to face the whole month and keeps my enthuiasm up especially when I see myself achieving even the smallest of goals for the month...staying on track.

Staring the month like a Bull in the Stock Markets makes you emotionally invested in the month's success.

- Start the month as a Executive Affiliate – Don't leave your minimum beneficial rank to chance. I have my standing order set to renew by the 3rd of every month so it's out of the way. I no longer have to budget for it and there is zero doubt that I will qualify for my maximum commissions this month.

- Set paid advertising campaigns to start no later than the 10th of the month. The earlier in the month you gain new PSA the more time you have to mold them into productive team members the same month they joined and getting early sign-ups to start the month will put spring in your step.

- Get goal oriented. Make a list og goals for the month and daily steps to get you there and stick to the plan as much as possible. It's scary to travel to unknown places if you don't even have a map. This is your map.

- Share your success of last month with your team. You don't have to give out a detailed earnings report, in fact you aren't allowed to share how much you earned but you can say that last month you welcomed 152 new members, 7 of them made EA, 2 members in your team made BTL and So and So made STL while I maintained my standing order and actually made a profit. Your team will see one of two things from this type of report. They will either see someone paving the path to profits and getting great results or someone who is walking the same mile with them and is not afraid to admit it's a work in progress. Either way it will strengthen the bond between you and your team.

- Open streams of contact- Communication is vital, if you can arrange a regular Skype Chat or Google Plus Hangout do so. Sit down with as many team members as you can get and brainstorm ideas on how to generate strong results for your business in the coming month. Hold at least a weekly meeting to review success and adjust your team business plan as needed. Having that added contact will let each team member know 100% that they are not alone in this and are part of a real team.

- Write a monthly mission blog post. I have to admit I don't do this one every month but I do often enough that I have seen others imitate the behavior and have success doing so. Write about the progress of your business and your goals for the month. Did you meet last month's goals, if not what will you do differently to reach them this month. This shows your readers that you are goal oriented and well motivated and have been working your business with solid results. If I am looking for someone to sign up to a new program with I want a goal oriented worker who is constantly making progress and is fired up about their business. The post will show others that you are that person.

Above all be personally dedicated to logging in daily and accomplishing every task on your to-do list. Budget things like T-credits to cover playing games like Pick the Price and Time Machine. Snag a new song for the month from the music section at Triple Clicks and let the tunes breath a breath of fresh inspiration to your business, but make sure that you are 100% set on your success.

Always login daily and earn all the easy VP from your To Do list. Be sure to set your monthly goals before the 10th of the month so that you have goals to work toward. Also, rate your Sponsor & Co-Sponsor.

To maintain at least a rank of Executive Affiliate, you will need 1500 VP by the last day of the month. To achieve this, you may choose to have a standing order of 100 TCredits that will give you 1200 VP and only cost $29. This is a very interesting question. To answer this, I am going to speak from my experience, from the stand point of a Bronze Team Leader (BTL)
I have maintained BTL for consecutive months. How am I able to do this?
-Determination and persistence - develop the mind set to achieve and work to let it happen.
-Time management is one key concept to all the actions that are involved. Too,
-Create a clear mental picture of the path, then chart the course to be taken.
-Consider the period within which you would like to get to the midpoint in your journey then, the time you would like to get to your destination. Goal setting is detemines the way to go. Start earning points on the first day of the month by setting monthly goals.
-Believe in yourself. As a leader you must take the initiative to motivate team members, as well. You need them with you in the business. Be one of those leaders about whom the following quote speaks: "Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves it is amazing at what they can accomplish." -Sam Walton.
- -Rating your sponsor and co-sponsor is important but what makes it great is getting 10 VersaPoints on completing the action.
-Set a time frame to do the daily and weekly actions. Try not to miss a day or week. By the end of a 30 days month there should be at least 482 VPs added to your scoreboard.
Get your standing order in place by 5th of the month and become EA2. I would suggest the 125 TCredits. You can use these at PriceBenders, for games and shopping.
Here is a thought: To achieve success start working early in the month, early in the week and early in the day.

It's a nice question, many people will have different opinion to this question. Whichever way individual opinion is best way to them. In my own opinion there are no successful business without plan and money.

You don't just begin a journey without knowing where exactly you are going. While in the previous month write down the steps you will take in the next month to drive your business to success, that's where money come in to finance and execute those steps. Having money without proper plan or not knowing step to take is a waste.

The best way to begin a new month is to follow your steps. For example:
1. my first step is to become EA by executing my Standing Order on the 1st of the month
2. Contact my Movers of the previous month one after the other to know about their well being and thank them for their active in the previous month.

You can add other steps to the 2 above but these are my very best every month before any other steps. As becoming EA is compulsory to me in other to keep my CSAs and building my team is also important to me so it is paramount that I contact my movers of the last month to encourage them for the new month.

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise! Make a list of free sites - you can Google "free advertising" and find dozens! On the first couple of days, place ads on ALL OF THEM! One for Affiliates/one for TripleClicks products. Then go back and place two more ads per day as part of your tegular routine. Be sure to place as many ads as you can on Monday and Tuesday, as Tuesday is the day most ads are read.

Also, if you get paid at the first of the month, set your Standing Order date for the first week. That will make you an EA ahead of the crowd, and convey to your group that you are a serious businessperson.

Tweet about the TripleClicks Music Contest twice a day for the first week. You will get a lot of new followers. Then use every "Share It" opportunity to alert those folks about TripleClicks products throughout the month.

Most of all, TALK TO EVERYONE about your business. Hand out X-cards and Gift Cards to people that you meet. Also, carry ECA brochures in your car, and gove them to business owners that you patronize. If you like their products/services, we probably will, too!
