To answer these questions, we will discuss the two aspects of work - working hard and working SMART.

First, working hard refers to the action in which individuals put forth much effort to accomplish a given task. It usually takes a longer time than intended as well as more energy. The results may occur because individuals may not have made any definite plan of work. As such, the exercise may become tedious, monotonous and also overbearing or without a purpose. Yes, all affiliates must ensure that they set their goals in a way that provide possibilities for achieving them. These goals must become possible to obtain; they must be measurable. Also, individuals conscious of realistic goals make sure that they have the practical or favourable situations for them to reach them in a particular time, for example, on the fifteenth, or any other time of the month. Individuals should give themselves time to revisit, and use any available opportunities to adjust their goals. Of course, all these activities will involve working hard but with a real purpose.

How could an affiliate like you fit into working SMART? Make sure that you set your goals at the beginning of each month. Ensure that these goals are measurable, achievable and practical as well as possible to accomplish in a particular time frame that you have consciously arranged. In so doing, although you may work hard, it will be meaningful, enjoyable. You will enjoy the best results at the end of the month.

Hello everyone! This is indeed a very good but difficult question. Why do I say this?
Well, I have been in SFI for a few months now and I am really enjoying this experience. I am so enthusiastic about my new found job. Thanks to my sponsor. I think everyone who registers to be a part of this SFI business should feel the same way and so, they would want to continue working the business. But, this is not so.

I have had quite a number of persons tapping into the business but have not continued. You see many persons want quick money - they want it now or else....They are not willing to work to achieve. They fail to communicate no matter how much you try to encourage them to do so. They literally refuse the FREE training that SFI offers. After all, where else can this kind of information be found without a cost? The attitude towards the business was not right from the beginning. Consequently, I think, in fact I know that it is difficult to persuade individuals to continue in a project for which they have already made up their minds to discontinue, for one reason or another.

Duplication definitely works but not with persons who have a negative mind sets. There are individuals who have been registered with SFI. From the moment they registered they have not moved from zero points. When asked what were their apprehensions, two of the most prevalent answers were: " I do not understand what to do" or "I cannot find the time". No matter how much assistance and reassurance they get, this is to no avail - there are no further responses or communication.
As the saying goes "You can take the donkey to the well but you cannot force it to drink". "Gold mining requires digging" and if they are not intrinsically motivated to dig then they are going to quit. There is no way you can stop them from taking that action.

So, my friends keep this in mind. Persons who decide to quit have already made up their minds. Leave them and continue your search for those who desire a real business. That is what SFI is - A real business. There is only time for persevering and assertive workers - workers who have a purpose; workers who set goals.

Thank you for asking this question. Let us for a moment take a brief look into SFI's the situation.
SFI is in the global marketplace. It is an ever growing marketing company that attracts thousands of affiliates from diverse backgrounds and language groups - many of whom do not speak English.
I believe that if separate forums are created and web seminars are convened to appeal to each language group, these persons would feel much more comfortable to be a part of SFI and build their business.
In fact, I wouldn't leave it with the forums or seminars. One of the main reasons for this is these places are not the first contact areas. From the outset of the business; as soon as new affiliates join the company they should be able to tap into an introduction that is their own language. I think this would, for the most part, quell any prejudice that would have been associated with having to be coerced into trying to understand English. So because they are compelled to do business in a language with which they are unfamiliar - they feel no motivation. Additionally, this could also be what contributes to affiliates saying they don’t understand the business and then opt out or do nothing at all.
My suggestion, therefore, is make available a translation for every page that the affiliates enter to do the business. This would take them straight to the Getting Started video. The other actions thereafter would automatically be in their language at the click of a button.
By then, they should feel comfortable to navigate the site which would include the forum. Here they would meet other individuals who speak their language. Again, I think that from here they would be at ease and generate the momentum that is required to build one's business.

This is a very interesting question. To answer this, I am going to speak from my experience, from the stand point of a Bronze Team Leader (BTL)
I have maintained BTL for consecutive months. How am I able to do this?
-Determination and persistence - develop the mind set to achieve and work to let it happen.
-Time management is one key concept to all the actions that are involved. Too,
-Create a clear mental picture of the path, then chart the course to be taken.
-Consider the period within which you would like to get to the midpoint in your journey then, the time you would like to get to your destination. Goal setting is detemines the way to go. Start earning points on the first day of the month by setting monthly goals.
-Believe in yourself. As a leader you must take the initiative to motivate team members, as well. You need them with you in the business. Be one of those leaders about whom the following quote speaks: "Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves it is amazing at what they can accomplish." -Sam Walton.
- -Rating your sponsor and co-sponsor is important but what makes it great is getting 10 VersaPoints on completing the action.
-Set a time frame to do the daily and weekly actions. Try not to miss a day or week. By the end of a 30 days month there should be at least 482 VPs added to your scoreboard.
Get your standing order in place by 5th of the month and become EA2. I would suggest the 125 TCredits. You can use these at PriceBenders, for games and shopping.
Here is a thought: To achieve success start working early in the month, early in the week and early in the day.

If the person I sponsor advance in SFI faster that I do, should I continue to train and support them?
Indeed, this question does keep the mind ticking because one may contend that since I sponsor the persons, I should become the one to train and give the needed support. Now, they have made faster advancement than me. Count it a blessing that the affiliates have taken their business so soberly and much to your benefit as well. Be assured that no harm will come based on the fact that the affiliates have made strides ahead of you.
In another breath, you could question: How much does the individuals know about the marketing experience? Also, how much more training can I give them? Do they need me to give them added training?
For all you may know, these persons could be seasoned marketers and so they understand what it takes to advance in SFI. Also, they could be those disciplined individuals who hunger for new knowledge and so, because they get this opportunity, they ensure that they correctly learn about the business. In fact SFI has all the information for newbies, which further guides their advancements.
On the other hand, think about the fact that these individuals will need all the support they can get to endure in his business. That support should be mutual and should come from affiliates and sponsor working collaboratively to the benefit of each other. So, give them the needed support.

When is the best time to upgrade your rank from EA to Team Leader?
EA is the stage at which the affiliate learns all the nuances of the business that will enable him to set a firm foundation on which his newly found business will progress. Now, why would this time not be the best time to upgrade to Team Leader? This script will discuss some reasons that will guide individual to demonstrate understanding of which time is best to become a Team Leader based on the actions that are involved.
First, for one to become a Team Leader, he must have a team of approximately 3-5 active members. Having these members in place, the sponsor must be capable of demonstrating the characteristics of an excellent leader - he must be able to direct his team successfully; he must have the team spirit.
Second, the leader must be able to show understanding and empathy. These characteristics are essential because of the individual differences that may surface especially socially, culturally and economically. So, if the affiliate decides to quit because of financial problems, the leader should be able to apply strategies that may assist the sponsor to continue in his business as long as he is willing to continue.
Third, being a Team Leader means ensuring a communicative spirit as well as, leading using excellent examples. Furthermore, he must express personal interest in the well-being of his team.
Finally, being a team leader means willingness to maintain:
• an effective Leadership page as the requirements suggest.
• a Standing Order of approximately 1500 VPs
Consequently, when the EA meets the criteria mentioned above, then it will be time for him to take on the responsibility of upgrading from EA to Team Leader.

So many persons are deterred by the unresponsiveness of their sponsor. What can an affiliate do if he has an unresponsive sponsor? Before I try to answer this question, I am taking the liberty to pose some questions to an affiliate who may be experiencing an unresponsive sponsor.
1. Have you ever thought about or operate a business before you connected with SFI?
2. Did you depend on someone to instruct you throughout your business? Or, did you just do your business independently of others?
3. Did you ever feel like quitting because you figure that there is no one to inform or instruct you about how to conduct your business?
4. Are you intrinsically motivated?
Well SFI is now your business and your responses to questions 2 to 4 will determine how you would respond to the situation with an unresponsive sponsor in SFI. Think, your sponsor may be unresponsive for several reasons; some of which I will enumerate.
•He may be new to SFI and feel incompetent to give you the relevant guidance.
•He may refuse to take the business seriously and so refuses to be empathetic. He doesn't care the kind of impact his negative attitudes will have on his affiliates.
•He may have personal issues with which to contend and so cannot find time to deal with others.
•He may have quitted SFI.
•He may be unable to cope with any language barrier that he may have experienced.
•He has problems with effective communication
•He may be dead.
Consequently,if you find yourself in the situation wherein you need help in your SFI business, there are several avenues where you can go for assistance. If the sponsor is nowhere to be reached, you may communicate with your co-sponsor, upline members, a2a friends or visit the forum. For want of a better suggestion - widen out, meet friends and well wishers. There are so many of us in SFI at the moment.
Bear in mind also, SFI gives all the tools and training to equip you to conduct a successful business. Put your time and effort into building it instead of harping on a 'lost' sponsor. Just thank him/her for introducing you to this solid, high quality business opportunity.
You just have to move ahead. After all, to whom does the business belong? is it not your business? Work to build your business! That is my recommendation.

Can SFI thrive on a limited budget?they ask. Let me share with you that SFI is the ONLY business that can work with very limited budget. It depends on you.
Here are some suggestions that I would like to share with you in regards to building your SFI business on a limited budget.

No doubt, for you to consider a budget for your business, you most likely have completed your first month in SFI. You required no funds at this point to achieve EA status. So, Lets take it that you now desire to maintain your EA2 status.
On becoming an EA in the first month you received 10 TCredits and 2 co-sponsored affiliates. Your job has begun. Now you are going to proceed as follows:
Everyday daily actions = approximately 30 x 11 = 330 VPs
Weekly actions (Genealogy letter) 4 x 30 = 120 "
TConnect 4 x 5 = 20 "
Stream Posts 4 x 3 = 12 "
Monthly (Rate sponsor after second month) = 10 "
Set Monthly goals before 10Th 5 "
Total = 497 "
1003 VPs are now needed to get to EA2. What can be done to get these VPs?
To ensure EA2 status, with approximately $19($1 per day for 19 days), you can purchase 10 single TCredits (102 VPs each) which is equivalent to 10 x 102 VPs = 1020 VPs + 50MRPs.

Save the TCredits you got from the first month until a later date, if you so desire.

Since 2013, I became an SFI affiliate. During this period, I have watched several affiliates become inactive soon after entering the business. There are so many benefits to achieve, on becoming a member of this noteworthy company. However, not everyone avail themselves of the privilege long enough to experience these. Instead, they quit. The list below states some reasons many affiliates become inactive shortly after they join SFI.

-They cannot find the time to do the daily activities.
-They become overwhelmed with the amount of information to read. In fact, many do not like to read.
-In addition, they are already engaged in mostly electronic social interaction. Most are already socializing on various electronic platforms so that another, no matter the purpose, will likely become abandoned because of the dominance of the others.
-They cannot understand what to do even when given a one to one tutorial.
-They are not internet savvy, which indicate that they are inflexible.
-They claim that they have to do too much work.
-They think they can make a substantial amount of money immediately even when they make no investments. They desire to get rich quick.
-Some even feel that if they get fully involved, the sponsor will benefit too much from their activities.
-Some failed at other internet business and therefore view SFI as just another of those impending failures.
-They are unwilling to explore to gain new knowledge.
-They are reluctant to communicate and so, as soon as their sponsor tries to reach out to them they cease doing the business.
-They are impatient, lack self-confidence, endurance as well as, persistence.

When you receive inactive CSAs treat them like you would your PSAs and your active Ldownlines. First you are going to welcome them to the SI business. Let them know they have made the right business choice. Offer them your help and support through the genealogy mail you send each week. You can also tailor a special mail to your CSAs. Commend everyone for the effort they have placed in becoming a member of SFI. Commend those who have been working and achieving. Encourage those who have not yet started; let them know that as their co-sponsor, you are there to give them any assistance that they may need to learn the business. Encourage them to feel free to communicate with you. Do not give up on them because you don't know when they will change their minds and start working.
I have had experiences of CSAs who came to me blank,zero, nothing - like they had never even looked at the Affiliate center from they registered. I kept on sending mails and any motivational tips that I send to the others on my team. I now have some of those inactive ones becoming active now. Sometimes, the language barrier may be a hindrance. Keep on working with them nonetheless and your business will bear fruits.
